EU presidency: Israel ground op in Gaza ‘defensive not offensive’

PRAGUE – European Union president, the Czech Republic, said Saturday an Israeli ground offensive in Gaza was “defensive, not offensive” action.
“At the moment, from the perspective of the last days, we understand this step as a defensive, not offensive, action,” Czech EU presidency spokesman Jiri Potuznik said.
Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg is leading an EU delegation to the region Sunday, and Potuznik said the presidency will wait to see the results of that visit.
Israel sent troops into Gaza on Saturday evening, eight days after launching air strikes on the coastal strip, which came in the wake of a breakdown in a six-month truce with Gaza’s Hamas rulers.

Dozens of rockets have been fired at Israel’s southern communities over the past two weeks, killing four Israelis. The air strikes in Gaza have killed at least 420 Gazans, according to Palestinian reports.
U.S. President George W. Bush on Friday branded the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel an act of terror and outlined his own condition for a cease-fire in Gaza, saying no peace deal would be acceptable without monitoring to halt the flow of smuggled weapons to terrorist groups.

Everyone should be in support of Israel. If you go to Israel, and get to know the Israeli community, you will see that they are beautiful people. That EU delegation that now is down in Gaza with Karel Schwarzenberg, I recognize all of those names from when I investigated the illegal Kosovo independence declaration. One interesting fact is that they are all Bilderbergers. And I don’t mean that as a general NWO-term, I mean they are literally Bilderberg meeting attendees. All of their countries simultaneously recognized Kosovo independence and Karel Schwarzenberg was the man driving that question i Czechia.
My point is that the EU delegation can not be trusted. They are not neutral and they will do anything Israel tells them to do.

Absolutely right, but unfortunately people too lazy to look beyond the main stream media.
It’s rather a double standard approach, when for example USA or Britain does something outrageous in the world, people will quickly say it;s not us, it’s our Government, but if another nation’s leader does or says something outrageous, they blame the whole of the population.
We can pull many examples from the past, especially if that country happen to be Arab or Muslim, the entire Arab and Muslim populations are tarnished.
