Eugenics Quotes: From lofty ideals to highly-centralized population control run by psychopathic maniacs

Here’s a collection of eugenics quotes– from as far back as 520 B.C. (the ideas are clearly age-old) up through the golden age of Eugencis-proper (from about 1883 through WWII), and up to the present date, where futurists, transhumanists and government policy makers look to an age where race-specific weapons are possible and mass death is conceivable and desirable for some of those in control.
With respect to those who may find the eugenics promise of better, faster, stronger, more human-than-human and the end of disease and handicaps to be appealing, I put forward (as a working thesis, if you will), that the drawbacks and excesses of eugenics as we’ve already seen it unfold should caution any promotion or endorsement.
Eugenics has been promoted not as a general philosophy of man, but inherently as a system of state control– where reproduction must be guided by “wisemen” of one brand or another. This system leads, ultimately, again and again to control by elites who seek god-like powers (oftentimes in those very words)– and total social control will almost always guide its directives and oversee its moral judgments– making the betterment of the many over the elite few impossible.

This is true not only in the excesses of the Nazi Germany– an obvious extreme, but in the would-be ideals of H.G. Wells (a la his 1905 Modern Utopia), the sometimes practical, sometimes overtly controlling eugenical policies in the USA, England and elsewhere in the first third of the 20th century– and the same perils of total control threaten us in the might-be ideals of meg lo-maniacal elites of the transhumanist camp– most who envision a man transformed, and some who envision the power of a god to kill the many.
Thus, what I oppose is not the hope for a better man, but the repetition of a vicious cycle of elite control and systematic death– surely a far cry from the ideals we were asked to hope for in the promises of sciences & the state– but connected, undoubtedly, to the controls over the direction of humanity as he moves ever forward towards the future.

Because of a lifetime of floundering and struggling to survive, I sometimes feel like I am perhaps one of those gentically unfit mentioned in the above quotes. Because of that, I wonder if maybe all of the misery I have experienced could have been prevented if my parents were required to have had a license before they recklessly, and with irresponsibilty, decided to have children.
I hate to say it, but I have to agree with Margaret Sanger on at least that one point. Parents who are not capable of raising healthy, normal children should be prevented from breeding.
Otherwise, I do not condone a mass global exterminaton of non-elite people, but I am for planned parenthood, birth control, and yes, maybe even a license to have children.
I truly believe that people born of wealthy families experience a quality of life that a poor person, like myself, will never know. I believe that only rich people get to really enjoy life, and realize 100% of its maximum potential.
The only way I could ever prove that conclusion wrong to myself, is if I ever were to somehow become rich, and that is never going to happen.
Call me ignorant about this conclusion, I don’t care.
It is a conclusion based on my own rational (rational according to me) observations, and a faith-based conclusion.
Just like some people don’t need a mountain of evidence to support their belif in God, I don’t require a mountain of evidence to prove (to me) that rich people are happier than poor people.
I believe that money buys happiness, and what’s life if you are most of the time miserable and not happy?
Not much in my opinion.
But… That stubborn instinct to self preserve will keep me poking along through this nightmare world until I die of natural causes I guess….
Ah well, maybe there is some hope, some light at the end of the tunnel for me. I guess I can only wait and see, while I keep struggling to do my best against others who ususally do a much better job than I do at just about everything.

Some thoughts…
Well, the idea of eugenics kind of destroys the idea of self determination. What happens when a man bred for superior mathematical ability grows up and decides he doesn’t want to do math, that he instead might want to build wood furniture by hand or some such thing. What then?
Who says some of this isn’t going on anyway? If you’ll go read some of the more graphic abortion literature, you’ll eventually run across stories in decades past of females seeking abortions that were sterilized without their knowledge. I’ve read a story on torture about a mistaken prisoner of the American army being injected with something. He was interviewed later and talked about being impotent or sterile, don’t remember which, blaming the injection. Provera, an artificial progesterone, is already being used to “treat” child molesters; so called “chemical castration”. Lupron, a GNRH-agonist, works well for this too.
An awful lot of this eugenics stuff sounds just like ethnic cleansing. We’re all supposed to be saddened when it’s done in Rwanda, but it’s okay if scientists do it?

The eugenics folks have a point Alex: even YOU YOURSELF admit that most people out there are idiots. I look around and it dawns on me that the truly stupid, low IQ types are the first to have kids and lots of them. They multiply like rabbits. Is it any wonder the average American for instance is a quasi-retard? Just look at the mess we’re in today: could the “elites” have done one tenth of the evil they have if the general public by and large wasn’t stupid?

Of course the whole eugenics thing is contrary to a free society, whatever merits it MAY have. At any rate, “the people” will only be able to remain free insofar as they live virtuously – eugenics or no.

Rich people don’t always “breed” successful kids. I know more than a fair share of wealthy parents whose children are total morons. The ability to create wealth isn’t genetic and it’s not always the offspring of wealthy families that are successful.
The MAJORITY of millionaires in this country are self-made successes who started with very little or nothing at all. You can become as successful as you want. If you’re broke, accept responsibility for the past mistakes that put you there and make up your mind to change it. Then do something about it. Able bodied people of average intelligence are more than capable of becoming successful through dedication and hard work. On the flip side of that are those who are very intelligent, yet have nothing.
And also don’t mistake material wealth for happiness. That mindset is usually from someone who blames external circumstances for their lack of success. They’ll just whine about not being able to be happy because they don’t have money. It takes more than money to be happy. I know plenty of well off people who aren’t all that happy. They’re miserable just like other miserable people…they just happen to be miserable in nicer surroundings.

Good points, but if I had a choice, I would rather be miserable and rich, instead of miserable and poor like I am now.
And sorry, I have to disagree with you about how being born to wealthy parents makes no difference in your outcome in life, I think it makes a big difference.
I also have to disagree about how any average person can become a success through hard work.
I believe that gentically smarter people will always be there to out-smart, and out-perform less intelligent people. Then, they will go and write something like you did, about how intelligence doesn’t matter to make themselves feel better or something.
Genetics do count, and they count a lot in terms of your happinjess on this rock we call Earth.
Otherwise, you’re right, I should stop whining and just keep trying to do better I guess, even though I am my own worst enemy.
After all, life is what you make it right?

Eugenics:
M. Sanger had to be the most misreable woman on Earth. Sangers weird preoccupation with population control and racial extermination of negros and retards is alarming and were a mystery until now. Last week, a sewage pipe repairman discovered the M Sanger diaries so here is a summery.
First, Sanger was a scanky. Short in stature, she had bad breath, smelly arm pits and boobs the size of grapes, every white stud she begged, grouped and fondled refused to bed Sanger, her hunt for a caucasion male apendage lasted 20 years. Twenty years older, Sanger at age 40, believed her good looks were fading away, she decided to do the unthinkable and eat dark meat. Sanger moved to Harlem to be closer to her subhuman love quest, as she seen it. Two years of hanging out at crack houses, jazz bars even a vacation to Uganda, offers of money and red caddilacs were to no avail. For Sanger, this was the last straw. From that day forward she focused her anger and sexual frustrations upon her new quest, the total and systematic extermination of negros, all white men with 20/20 vision, women with hot bods, blonds, because that is what all negro men want, children because she never had any and the physically unfit for she was ugly and unfit to be bred. There was some sucess in her life. Sanger went on to invent the vibrating dildo, the offspring of her other invention, the AA battery. It is comforting to know she found some relief later in life.
