EXXONMOBIL calls for carbon tax to tackle global warming

Exxonmobil corp., the world’s largest crude oil refiner, supports taxing carbon dioxide as the most efficient way of curbing greenhouse gas emissions, its chief executive said.
“As a businessman, it’s hard to speak favourably about any new tax, but a carbon tax strikes me as a more direct, more transparent and more effective approach,” Rex Tillerson, CEO of the Irving, Texas based company, said Thursday at the Woodrow Wilson international center for scholars in Washington.
At a Dec. 11 event in Chicago, Tillerson, 56, said he preferred a carbon tax to carbon trading programs such as the type used in Europe.

Whether exxon has to pay the tax or not is irrelevant.It seems that all of the oil kings are running out of time,pressure from the people is forcing these guy’s to make concessions.The carbon tax is one of these concessions,there will be more,we can’t allow ourselves to become complacent,these concessions are nonsensical the auto manufacturers must apply new technology in building the cars and the cars themselves must run on this new technology.The truly sad part is the “new” technology isn’t new it’s been around for years,greed is the only reason we’re polluting the crap out of our planet.Also taxes paid by manufacturers are ultimately passed on to us anyway,HOW DOES PAYING MORE FOR POLUTION ELIMINATE IT??? it’s not like we can just stop using gas.

As someone remarked earlier in the thread, there already is technology to eliminate pollution and the poisoning of the Earth. Unfortunately, the entrenched monopolies (like the bankers, oil companies, vehicle manufacturers and electric companies) have not let this technology get out, since they are making a killing keeping it the way it is and they don’t care if it is destroying our planet!
I suggest people do some research and see that there are some suppressed technologies out there that could end the NWO Globalists’ dominance of our planet. This is how we can fight them! Make them go broke!!!

There was a tax Thatcher tried to push through in the eighties – the Poll tax. There were mass riots and the government dropped it. They’re going to try pushing this through so it comes directly out of your bank accounts. They’re not stupid but at some stage I think people are going to say ‘hang on’ and ‘NO’. That’s when the elite are going to start releasing their bio weapons on us. I say we get to them before they get to us!

Yep. also we can barter loads of things. This avoids the tax trap. When i need jobs done i take time off work and do them myself otherwise you get double taxed. Tax on the pay i earn while the other guy works and i pay him also. Also grow veggies because here in NZ we get taxed on all essential food items, unlike the UK.
This is game that is coming to an end because we will see mass revolt this year. I cannot believe that they want to take this carbon tax directly from your bank. The thieving robbing greedy scum. I’ll close my bank. I have been collecting coins for quite a while now also because they at least have metal value. In the US at least they are minted by the government, not the Fed.
How do we get them before they get us? I am actually surprised that nobody has taken these crooks out yet. People like David Rockerfeller or Henry Kissenger don’t live in bunkers all their lives. I would have them charged and jailed but the system would not do it.

Hmm, so, let me get this straight. One of the companies that controls how much oil is produced which in turn affects the amount of carbon, has decided that the best solution is to tax people for carbon dioxide, which by the way, plants use to create oxygen. I wonder if I could shoot someone in public and then claim that it wasn’t actually me that did it, that would make as much sense as said solution. Instead of tackling the root cause of the supposed problem, they try to tax us for one of the side affects? It’s like prescribing cholesterol medication when your blood sugar is causing the problem. This is more Alice through the looking glass and this song is getting mighty old.

switching to solar and wind and geothermal is the best way to stop global warming and cut down long term on the cost of energy.
The next generation of solar could be dirt cheap. There would be zero emissions and everyone would have free energy for life once the installation costs are paid.
In fact, you can make your own solar at home with a kit and transformer etc.
The switch to clean energy around the world could have happened 30 years ago but the Bush oil companies got control of government and stopped it.
An Exxon Carbon Tax is just another fiddle crime opportunity for Exxon and the banks.
Their freemason stooges in government are just the means to push through the direct robbery of people by lifting it out of their bank accounts.
They trade these carbon tax papers with fraud accounting (the UN had to suspend the norwegian company assessing carbon credits because of fraudulent or wrongful reporting)

Same time, they get their pals in government to hit certain industry sectors they want to take over with high carbon taxes, bankrupt them and take them over.
These same interests have stopped the world from realising just how bad global warming was getting until it’s almost too late.
People say there is no global warming, but look at the Boreal Forest, the Artic.
95 per cent of the carbon in the atmosphere is part of the natural carbon flux but our 5 per cent is tipping the balance.

Okay, if the use of oil causes global warming, then WHY would an OIL COMPANY call for their product to be taxed, potentially out of reach of potential customers? I am now starting to think that the oil companies created the global warming crisis in order to offer the carbon tax as their fake solution – like an ecological Reichstag Fire. (For those who don’t know, the Reichstag Fire was a false-flag event staged by the Nazis – particularly Hermann Goering – so they could suspend the Weimer Constitution, which they did with the Reichstag Fire Decree. I believe global warming is a false-flag and that the oil companies deliberately caused global warming.

Lets make-believe carbon taxes are the way to go. So they tax the carbon and what do they do with the money? Taxing the carbon is pointless if there is no legitimate plan on how to use the money to effectively counter “global warming”. If there is a legitimate plan on how to use the money to effectively counter “global warming” then why can’t they tell us the plan so that instead of doing a simple global carbon tax, each country can use the general concept behind the proposed plan to use its own money to combat global warming. Merely taxing carbon isn’t good enough because all that results in is a global tax, which seems like the only solution they have, which throws money at the U.N. and isn’t a solution.
