Back in 2011, 83 plaintiffs united in lawsuit against the bio-tech giant Monsanto. The farmers fear that Monsanto seeds would make their way to their farmers in which their livelihoods would be at risk due to patent infringement. The case which was shot down by a New York District court, but on Friday oral arguments are being heard by an appeals courting in Washington, DC. So do the plaintiffs stand a chance against Monsanto? Dave Murphy, executive director for Food Democracy Now, explains.
