Fed to Hire PR Wizard to Fight Against HR 1207

As HR 1207 gains momentum and co-sponsors in the House of Representatives, the Federal Reserve is planning to fight the tide calling for an audit of its books by hiring a veteran lobbyist to “manage its relations with Congress,” according to Reuters.

The Fed plans to hire Linda Robertson, who previously worked for now-defunct energy company Enron, as well as the Clinton administration. She is currently head of government, community and public relations at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Robertson “spent eight years in senior positions at the Treasury Department, working for three secretaries: Lloyd Bentsen, Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers,” a bio posted on The John Hopkins University website states.
Robert Rubin, as secretary of the Treasury, recommended that Congress pass legislation to reform or repeal the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, while Lawrence Summers in the same capacity organized the looting of Russia, stripping one trillion dollars from Russia’s struggling economy in the name of the bankers.
“Members of Congress have chafed at the Fed’s bold use of its emergency powers and in particular its multibillion-dollar bailouts of investment bank Bear Stearns and insurer American International Group,” Reuters continues. “Critics also bristle at the Fed’s practice of maintaining the confidentiality of the companies that borrow directly from the central bank on the grounds that divulging their names would risk runs on those institutions.”
One such critic is senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. In March, Sanders put it squarely to Fed boss Bernanke when he said “My question to you is, will you tell the American people to whom you lent $2.2 trillion of their dollars?” Bernanke, of course, refused to divulge a single name and instead said the loans in question are “over-collateralized” and thus come with a heavy stigma for the unknown borrowers.
Sanders has put his weight behind a similar bill — S. 604, the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009. It was referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs on March 16, 2009.
As reported by Bloomberg, the Fed has entered into trillions of dollars in off-balance sheet transactions since last September. More specifically, the Fed extended $9 trillion in credit, which is $30,000 for every single men, women, and child in this country.
Early last month, Elizabeth Coleman, Inspector General for the Federal Reserve, told Rep. Alan Grayson of the United States House Committee on Financial Services that she does “not have jurisdiction to directly go out and audit Reserve Bank activities specifically.” See a video of Grayson questioning Coleman.
“We’re getting instructions from on high saying, ‘Don’t dwell on the past,’” Grayson was told before a hearing scheduled to investigate the Fannie and Freddie swindle.
HR 1207 would put an end to this sort of hide-and-seek nonsense. It would “amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes.”
Rep. Ron Paul notes that only the Fed can inflate the currency and create new money out of thin air in secrecy without oversight or supervision. “Debasing a currency is counterfeiting,” Paul told Congress in February, 2008, “it steals value from every dollar earned or saved. “It robs the people and makes them poorer… it is the enemy of the working person. Inflation is the most vicious and regressive of all forms of taxation. It transfers wealth from the middle class to the privileged rich.”

HR 1207 would cast a laser light on this criminal process. “By opening all Fed operations to a GAO audit and calling for such an audit to be completed by the end of 2010, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act would achieve much-needed transparency of the Federal Reserve,” Paul explained earlier this year.
An audit would set the stage for the end of the Federal Reserve and a return of honest money and fiscal policies. The banksters behind the Fed understand this very well and that is why they have not only hired a PR wizard but also why they have attempted to subvert the End the Fed movement.
It is hardly a mistake that the MIAC report characterized the End the Fed movement as extremist. It is also no mistake the United States Army Reserve Command issued “mitigation measures” in response to End the Fed demonstrations around the country last year. The Army “established relationships” with local law enforcement and the FBI and encouraged them to “update alert rosters,” according to a Force Protection Advisory leaked to the media. On November 22, 2008, Alex Jones led a rally at the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas Texas. The Dallas protest is specifically mentioned in the official Army document.
As HR 1207 picks up sponsors and gains critical mass, we can expect the international bankers to devise ways to protect their Federal Reserve racket. Obviously, it will take more than a former Enron and Treasury Department hack to stem the growing tide of people demanding the Fed be investigated and eventually dismantled.

How on earth do they plan to turn this investigation around and lobby with some crone. There is no information they could use to stop this investigation short of declaring war on congress or use a false flag opperation to claim that they need secrecy for national security. But we’ve heard this song and dance one too many times for this to work. A step in that direction and the gloves come off. Could be the catalyst for a real revolution.

I agree Karen, they will never allow this audit to go through no matter how many votes in congress it gets. The president will veto it on some nonsense about the importance of the Fed’s “independence” and the boobs will go back to watching Dancing with the Stars, or by then it will be football season and no one will care.
I don;t have much hope for Robertson to get disgusted, working for Enron didn’t seem to bother her in the least, working for the Fed is the nest step up.
Ron Paul better stay away from small planes and driving on dark secludes roads at night.

We happen to be your ally and a little more respect is warranted I think. You should know that if you are a US Marine (i doubt it though). Australians have a proud history right or wrong fighting and sheding blood alongisde Americans. And in case you haven’t been listening to Alex, we don’t have cops pulling over and choking EMTs, or taking people’s homes and property under imminent domain and so on – well not yet anyway. Please accept my apologies for the tirade, we are not all like that.
I for one admire and respect Australians having lived there and having many Australian friends. There is no one else I’d rather have backing me up.
We are allies, yes you have problems with gin control and other things, but we are not are behind you. Most of the so-called gun rights supporters all voted for McCain the last time around, McCain got an F- from the GOA, they also all lined up to support Both Bushes, who are both gun grabbers.
Many of the NRA folks are clueless and the NRA is really not much more than a front group for the Republican Party and has no real deep dedication to our gun rights. Our gun rights are as fragile as yours and any time now I expect a crackdown the the NRA will line up to support. I expect some mass killing at a school, the SWAT teams will hang back until the shooter kills himself, then the NRA will support “reasonable” gun control to prevent further tragedy yes will still “respect the rights of sportsmen”. The loyal NRA types will all line up to turn in their guns, just watch them. They couldn’t stand up for their rights in an election where the cost was zero, can you imagine them standing up when they are facing down an armed Blackwater team? Yeah right, they’ll be too busy cleaning the crap out of their pants, kissing asses and turning in their neighbors.
Notice how fast the NRA and the Brady group joined hands to disarm veterans such as myself.

Good on you LRRP. You know, most Australians are just like most Americans. We have a patriot movement just like you, most probably the same percent per capita that you do. We abhor and fight tyranny just like you in the great western tradition. We both are countries that share a common English heritage, language, and the common law. Australians have one of the oldest and most stable political systems in the world like Americans do or did. Up until a few years ago we were one of the wealthiest, most free people in the world by a long way as you in America were. But like all the great English speaking nations of the world, we both are under fierce attack by the world elite. The English speaking world is under the heaviest onslaught probably because we pose the greatest threat to the world elite. Yes, paradoxically, most of the elite are probably English speakers too.
America was a Constitutional Republic and Australia was a Constitutional Monarchy up until a few years ago. (Some would dispute this). Australian’s rights were sourced from the common law traditions bequeathed to us from our English ancestors gained over 1000 years of history. America had to synthesize these same common rights when you split from the English in 1776 and added a few while you were at it to become the greatest nation ever. All I am trying to point out is the many, many common links between us. You have no closer ally. We are and remain your brothers in arms.

All of those groups took the same oath I, and all US veterans, took. To defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Many more than you might think do not take that oath lightly. I have willingly thrown myself into the reality of possible loss of my own life to preserve that oath, and will do so today. There are many who are far more competent than I that are of similar faith and true patriotism.

My father, and both of my grandfathers were in the military, and I know MANY of our troops back the movement. My concerns are the *new recruits* who swear an oath to Obama, the seasoned people know when to call bullshit… the new recruits are being brainwashed and will shoot first, ask questions about the constitution later.

How can I register my own FED? Should it be a public limited company or a private one?

You now that if we the people stoped using paper money and just used gold we would be a strong nation. There is still some other stuff to do like put the constitution back to it’s origional state like are founding fathers intended and stop the evil and cruped bastards using pen’s to re shape our nation the way they want it to become we would be better off.
I strongly feel that if we the people stoped using borrowed moneys to fund our future and just purtchased as we go method than the banks would fall to the way side and the FED would be no more. We could do all of this without a pen from some jerk in congress that only is self motivated.
I like being dept free because I am not in bondage and it gives me way more freedom. The scriptures condone this thought and that is why I decided to become dept free. The banks don’t make any money off of me in the form of interest but still get me from time to time on fee’s. I am thinking of closing my bank accounts and just do cash and eventually gold and silver as a transaction. Cash is untraciable for the most part unless you do something for $10,000.00 or more.
We control the price of everything by way of purtchasing it. Look at the price of homes now. If we did that to gas than the price would be only the tax that the government charges and a few other small fees. In California, the gas taxes in total are close to $0.86 per gallon if you add all the taxes together that the government has. Those polititions want to tax us for breathing with the carbon tax. Where does it end? It doesn’t with them! There out to destroy us!
I guess I am going to end up in some wooded area and build a little cabon and be fully self contained and off of the grid. I will also be away from people or at least away from any city. I guess that is going to be the only safe place and way to live in the very neer future. I will end up being a mountion man living off of the land with no communication to the outside world.

The problem with our money is not that it’s made of “paper,” but that it’s *issued* as an evidence of interest-bearing DEBT expansion instead of as an evidence of interest-free *wealth* expansion.

I must admit that watching this from a distance being a Englishman in Canada and seeing how this information is coming to light makes me more aware to whay is happening here in Canada and what sort of conrol my son will grow up in.
I must admit that i am proud to see that Americans are patriotic this was a quality long since lost in Britain and its shame as british people handed over more and more control to the elete’s.
But from what i can see its a breath of fresh air to see Americans willing to fight to take back their country from the criminals. And i hope an prey that that in my life time i can see the people taking it back.
I wish you the best and pray you can reverse the tide and use this as a model to reverse the trend worldwide.

Ex Pat, I find your support to be inspiring. We can win this war because it will be a war of minds and not of weapons. Perhaps we in the United States can have our own Glorious Revolution, just like you Brits did way back in the 17th century. We here in America are fearless.
I think the crown did a lot to destroy your sense of nationalism and pride in Britain, but it is a proud land nonetheless. It is the brithplace of the Magna Carta. You people invented the idea that no one should be above the law. Someday, the British may again rise with that spirit. It lies dormant in the hearts and minds of your people, but I know that deep down the British understand the concept of the long struggle.
When I think of the closed circuit TV, the gun control, and the endless tattling, I can’t help but think that it is too bad your people have given up so much already. It is time for the British to start taking back, what they have lost. The best way to do that is to rekindle the ideology of Nationalism, for Britain was and truly can be a great nation again.

I am informed enough to understand that this world will fail and that I am saved. I know that there is an advisory that has power within the ferminate and that we as believers look tourds things of value that are above.
I know from biblical truith’s that gold and silver will be tossed into the street as worthless in the end times. I don’t know when thouse times will come but feel like they will come in my life time. I do feel that food and water will be worth more than precious metels and stones some day soon. You can’t eat gold and people will not have enough money to purtchase gold when the USA goes into financial chaos. Thouse things will only preserve a paper colapse for a short period of time. I do feel that having koogerans will help for a short period of time. I feel that property or land will be something to obtain sooner rather than later in my opinion due to the comming of hyper inflation. I can tell you that if soldiers come for my gunes and then for my property that I will have to make some serious choices as to fight, give up or witness as many have done before us. That will probably be a spur of the moment situation.
All of this stuff going on around us is going to happen according to Gods Word. We can’t stop it from happining at all but only delay the inevitable. I don’t think it’s worth getting invalved as much as Alex Jones and alike are because he and others are missing the truith of Gods word that we need to keep first in our lives. They spend much of there time focusing on the things of this world than living for God as a deciple of Jesus Christ. The scriptures say that we need to obstain from the worlds affears and only focus on the truith of Gods Word. We are not of this world but of things above. This life is only temporarily.
To USMC Grunts, I think it is going to be that bad and living in the mountains is something that I have done before and did enjoy it very much. Get out of the city and enjoy the life that you’re missing. There are way more things to do that don’t coast money and are fun to do and experience in the country and or mountions away from citie’s and suberb’s in my opinion. Cities will riot and there will be massave trafic james trying to get out when things turn arry. People will not have any idea as of where to go and gas stations will soon run out of gas on there excape. It is better to be propaired with a plan rather than wait for things to all of a sudden to happen. This is why I have decided to understand my sorundings by checking out all of this stuff on the internet and AM radio stations so I can be informed. I can only take in so much at a time before I get so depressed and need to stop for a period of time till I have a clear and peacfull enough head again. I try my best to keep God first in all things!
Being dept free will give us freedom and keep us out of bondadge accourding to scriptures. I don’t trust banks and will only rely on cash or other formes such as gold. I will grow my own food and have a well to sustain my need for water. I will be living off of the grid deep in the woods away from it all and be confortable. That is my plan that I am building at this moment but as it pertaines to work and living now I will live in a populated area so that I can afford to build my cabin and have the things necessary to survive in the future ahead.
