Kraepelinian (named for Emile Kraepelin) psychiatry snuck in the door, with the dominance of the University of Pennsylvania Psychiatry department of the American Psychiatric Association back in 1970. That was when Dr. Fulton Torrey of UP took control of that organization.

Gone was the Freudian induced Cognitive theory. Kraepelin saw dysfunction in every human being he looked at, and the theory is eugenicist. With Freud society was sick and making man sick. With Kraepelin, every individual was sick, and in need of treatment. The gene pool needed to have mental illness strains removed.

Kraepelinian Psychiatry is doing immense harm in American society today.
