The FBI says it has arrested the final suspect in the Hutaree case.
The arrest of Josh Stone, son of the group’s leader David Stone, came after a standoff in North Adams Village, about 30 miles from the site of Saturday’s raid in Adrian. The younger Stone has been on the run since the raid.
Agents say Stone was hiding in a home with 5 other adults and a toddler. Agents say the people inside were all there willingly and were not being held hostage. Stone was coaxed out when agents played messages from the Stone family over a loudspeaker system.
The five other people in the house were also taken into custody. It is not clear what connection, if any, they have to the Hutaree organization. It is also not yet clear if they will face any charges in the case.
