At least five people have been killed by a suicide bomb aimed at “foreign experts” inside a meeting of an Afghan ministry.
The Taliban is reported to have claimed the attack which was said to be carried out by three men, two of whom escaped.
The bomb blew a hole in a wall of the meeting room but reports are unclear if the minister was in the building at the time.

“We can confirm at least five people martyred and another five wounded.”
The interior ministry said the attacker appeared to have blown himself up on the first floor of the building.
The bomb was similar to scores carried out by Taliban and other insurgents fighting the Western-backed government of President Hamid Karzai.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the three attackers had first opened fire on guards at the ministry. One then entered the building and blew himself up.
“The suicide bomber targeted foreign experts,” he said.
