Activists dressed as Transportation Security Administration agents staged a mock TSA pat-down at the Capitol Tuesday.
The protest was an effort to bring a bill into the special session which would make it a misdemeanor for TSA agents to pat-down passengers at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The group from Texans for Accountable Government said they wanted lawmakers to see what a pat-down from the TSA entails.
The initial bill died during the regular session after the Department of Justice said it would force federal officials to cancel flights to Texas.
