Food Riots Have Already Begun as Global Grain Prices Skyrocket, Supplies Dwindle

Riots and other forms of civil unrest have already broken out around the world in response to a global grain shortage and surging food prices.
According to data from the World Food Program and the early warning and global information system of the Food and Agricultural Organization, street protests and rioting over high food prices have broken out in Guinea, Indonesia, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Yemen and West Africa in the past several months.
Prices of wheat and rice in particular have skyrocketed recently. Rice prices have increased 50 percent in the past year, while wheat prices went up 115 percent in the same time period. The high prices have been attributed to increased fuel and shipping costs, plus a worldwide grain shortage.

In response to the shortage, India has placed limited restrictions on rice exports to protect its domestic food supply, while Argentina, China and the Ukraine have all restricted exports of wheat and other grains. In an unprecedented move, the President of the Philippines recently made a personal appeal to Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, asking Nguyen to guarantee the Philippines a set quantity of rice imports.
The Philippines is heavily dependent upon rice imports to feed its population.
“This is a wake-up call,” said Robert Zeigler of the International Rice Research Institute. “We have a crisis brewing in rice supply.”
Rice is a primary food source for half of the world’s population.
The global grain shortage has been blamed on droughts and other unusual weather caused by global warming, as well as the increasing diversion of grain into animal feed to meet the growing demand for meat and dairy products, especially in Asian countries.
The prices of foods made with grains, such as bread and beer, are also on the rise. In addition, the increased costs of animal feed are being felt in higher prices for meat, dairy and eggs.

I cant see how this could be implemented, whilst so long as ppl have `money` in their pockets, then they`re free to buy whatever they wish.
To implement this, several things would need to happen :-
1. All supermarkets/shops would need to stop selling frozen or tin meat products
2. Butchers would go out of business
3. `Ration books` would need to be introduced – and so would a scheme by which ration books were issued.
Could it be done ?
Yes frankly it probably could – and ration books could be dependent on every family agreeing to be on a Government Database.
Those who refuse ? there you have the `no buy or sell` (as far as food is concerned)
I`d be very surprised if they went this far, but who knows when there`s mad-men in charge LOL.
I looked at that `recommended list` of food….. and wondered how the hell does one get 7 days dinners (not to mention lunches & breakfasts) out of that ?
Darn `climate groups` they`re full of B. hot air LOL.
But, of course, they play a part in the planned agenda.

Why place an article that is stuffed with Global Warming propaganda by blaming the food crisis on it etc.? Clearly the rise in food prices has three major causes, High oil prices which makes transport as well as production more expensive, higher demand for dairy products in Asia where more people turn to drinking milk and eating meat more frequently, and last but not least the use of crops for the production of bio-fuels. Only the latter has something to do with GW, as it is a direct result of the GW hysteria.

The food crisis has naff all to do with global warming – but THAT IS HOW IT IS GOING TO BE STATED TO THE PPL.
Tell them WHAT they can or cannot eat – and how much of it they can eat – and RATION IT – so we have no choice in this issue.
Man made global warming is nothing more than a scam anyway.
Yes the planet might be warming in some places, but its cooling in others – AND THATS HOW ITS ALWAYS BEEN. That is why its called `climate CHANGE` – the climate DOES change – everything on earth changes.
Well, maybe that is except for the STUPIDITY of many of the people.

The reason it has the global warming nonsense in the artical is because this story is directly taken from a major media source. There are a lot of other articals that have similar propaganda in them, but it’s not really the fault of Alex and his crew. I’m actually sure he would get more complaints if he altered a story, and someone found the original.

You can thank Mosantos and Dow as well as DuPont as these criminals have created this food shortage as a means of population control. Mosantos has patents on most of the crops, fruits and veggies in the world. If you wanna grow it you gotta buy seeds from them and guess what….the seeds you get from your first harvest are sterile. They make you pay every crop you grow! Scary but true.

Friends around here have noticed that the Chem-trail people come when it starts looking like rain instead of nice sunny days preventing it from raining. The ‘unusual’ weather may be caused buy these creeps as well.

Its time to pop down the nursury ..buy some seasonal seeds .. clear a patch in the over rated (useless)lawn and start feeding oneselves with home grown produce.
Maybe even start local groups share land and labour and by pass the approaching ridiculousness of a (designer) global food shortage.
Land mismanagement .. finacial mismanagement why o why do we allow our governments to govern when they seem so incompetent.

I agree with #12. In my area we’ve had lots of chem trails and it really does seem to cause more dramatic weather. I kept hearing people say that they could “feel” the global warming, just because it was so hot this summer and California burned. I have a gut feeling that the chem-trails are all a part of the hoax.

There is no excuse for anyone on this earth to go without food or water. The earth is capable of producing enough food and water for every single person. Greedy corrupt men and governments will spend millions and billions on homes ,planes, cars ,etc. while men women and children starve in the streets. There is no excuse.

Alex is like a brother , even though we haven’t met. I work hard at my job and when I come home, I like to download the latest interview and check in with the site, but in all honesty all these moving adds are distracting and I find them offensive.

Ok, people. We need to starting READING BETWEEN THE LINES. This article has nothing to do with a food crisis and global warming. It has EVERYTHING to do with planting the seed in your minds that the “World Food Program” is the authority on food now. It is a UN/NWO created body attempting to establish perceived authority by issuing articles such as this. And if you don’t see it and question who they are, and refuse to acknowledge that they have any say over peoples right to food, then this articles would have served it’s purpose. They are attempting to be for food what the World Wildlife Foundation is for animals or the GAIA Foundation is for the environment.
This goes for all articles such as these. First look to see if any new ‘organizations’ are being quoted. If so, ask yourself who they are and if you do not recognize them, question their authority and POST COMMENTS ON THIS SITE telling them (and schooling others) that you do not acknowledge their authority and that they can GO TO HELL! This is CRITICAL! If we post comments questioning who the organization is, then the less people who acknowledge them, the less chance it will have to get established and recognized.
There are several articles on this site like this one (it often makes me question Alex’s motives – he should be stating what I’ve stated above).
First rule when reading articles – QUESTION THE ‘AUTHORITY’. After all, we all know what ‘authority’ is capable of.
