Former Fed Boss Herman Cain Delivers Tea Party Flock to Newt Gingrich

A washed out Herman Cain has delivered his Tea Party flock to the Gingrich camp.
“Citizen Cain, of course, is immensely popular among Tea Party conservatives (he was once the Republican frontrunner!), and his announcement last night could make the election in Florida more competitive,” writes Daniel Doherty for Townhall.com.
Even though Mitt Romney is a shoo-in as the handpicked insider nominee who will run against his ideological cousin Barry Obama, the establishment plans to keep the sideshow running in order to at least give the illusion that the tussle between candidates is democracy in action.
What’s really rich, though, is the claim that “Citizen Cain” is “immensely popular among Tea Party conservatives,” who are in fact little more than a domesticated cheering section for the Republican Party and its platform of big government, wealth confiscation at gunpoint and mass murder in small far-off countries. Few seem to remember that the original Tea Party was libertarian and stood adamantly opposed not only to a bloated and spend thrift federal government and the forever war agenda, but the Federal Reserve system as well.
Herman Cain’s transformation into a “Tea Party activist” (as Wikipedia would have it) is further testament to the Bizarro World nature of establishment politics. Cain was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from 1989 to 1991. He was deputy chairman, from 1992 to 1994, and chairman from 1995 to 1996, of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
The Republican hijacked Tea Party (insert trademark here) is still referred to as libertarian even as it shills for a former Fed boss and now the globalist stooge Newt Gingrich . In late 2010, as establishment insiders continued their transformative voodoo on the movement, 87% of Tea Party organizers said they were dissatisfied with “mainstream Republican Party leaders” like Gingrich, who has pledged fealty to the neocon wing of the party while supporting carbon taxes and much of the rest of the globalist agenda .
Now? They support them.
Cain’s title not only demonstrates how easy it is to fool politically hobbled Americans, but it also reveals that the establishment is laughing at us.
The elite managed to sabotage the only political movement capable of working toward the restoration of a constitutional republic in America. They easily turned it into a laughingstock where corporatist bozos like Newt and deep Federal Reserve insiders like Cain – both deeply flawed with their sexual particularities that you’d think would be anathema to conservatives – are portrayed as libertarian activists.
On Sunday, Ron Paul emphasized this dichotomy on CNN. He said that it seems “a little strange” that an insider like Gingrich would be considered the leader of what is supposedly an anti-establishment movement.
“The tea party is not a tea party. I mean, it’s all over the place – everybody’s claiming they’re the tea party,” Paul said. “Somebody like Newt Gingrich who’s been in politics all these years and is an insider is claiming that he’s leading the tea party movement – that to me is a little strange.”
Paul’s campaign has filled the vacuum left in place of the old libertarian Tea Party opposed to establishment politics as usual. “It’s the frustration level that’s so high and I think that’s one of the things that’s energized our campaign,” Paul said. “Our meetings and rallies that we have are made up of Democrats and independents and frustrated Republicans.”
