Former Kissinger Policy Planner, CFR Member Calls For New Global Monetary Authority

A Council on Foreign Relations member and former policy planner under prominent Bilderberger Henry Kissinger has penned a piece in the Financial Times of London calling for a “new global monetary authority” that would have the power to monitor all national financial authorities and all large global financial companies.
“Even if the US’s massive financial rescue operation succeeds, it should be followed by something even more far-reaching – the establishment of a Global Monetary Authority to oversee markets that have become borderless.” writes Jeffrey Garten, also a former managing director of Lehman Brothers.
Garten, now a professor of business at Yale, served on the policy planning staff of Kissinger during his time as Secretary of State. He also served on the White House Council on International Economic Policy under the Nixon administration and went on to become the Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade under Bill Clinton.
Citing “globalization”, A “clash of philosophies” and the “vacuum at the centre” of the current global institutional apparatus, Garten describes his vision for a new monolithic world authority to oversee all financial activity around the globe.
Here are some of the highlights (emphasis added):
A GMA (global monetary authority) would be a reinsurer or discounter for certain obligations held by central banks. It would scrutinise the regulatory activities of national authorities with more teeth than the IMF has and oversee the implementation of a limited number of global regulations. It would monitor global risks and establish an effective early warning system with more clout to sound alarms than the BIS has.
It would act as “bankruptcy court” for financial reorganisations of global companies above a certain size. The biggest global financial companies would have to register with the GMA and be subject to its monitoring, or be blacklisted. That includes commercial companies and banks, but also sovereign wealth funds, gigantic hedge funds and private equity firms.
The GMA’s board would have to include central bankers not just from the US, UK, the eurozone and Japan, but also China, Saudi Arabia and Brazil. It would be financed by mandatory contributions from every capable country and from insurance-type premiums from global financial companies – publicly listed, government owned, and privately held alike.

In a conclusion that smacks of problem, reaction, solution Garten adds “In terms of US and international politics, a Global Monetary Authority is probably an idea whose time has not yet come. That may change as today’s crisis evolves.”
What he describes is nothing less than a global financial dictatorship, operating across borders and forcing nations and corporations to register and adhere to strict monitoring and obey the same regulations. The implementation of such a system would represent total interventionism and the absolute final nail in the coffin of the free market.
Garten’s call for a GMA echoes a piece published in the FT back in June by Timothy Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Fresh from attending the Bilderberg conference in Chantilly, Virginia, Geithner called for a globalized banking system with “appropriate requirements for capital and liquidity”.

Living in Sweden, we view the ongoing US crisis with certain concern. We were once a proud nation with the best living standard in the world. The best schools, most advanced health care and a sound economy. But in the early 80ies something terrible happened. Our prime minister Olof Palme was shot dead one night (going home from a movie with his wife; yes up til then our streets was virtually criminal free) and got shot by a hitman on the busiest street of stockholm. After many debacles in media, evidence started to come into light that the powerful jewish family Wallenberg had arranged the assasination as Palme threatened to close down their fraudelent bank business in Sweden due to corruption.
After that everything changed. The country went down the drain. The school system degraded to be among the worst in Europe. The economy went downhill. Corruption in the government increased 100 fold and Sweden was duped to join EU and thus loose much of its unique constitution that protected its citizens from chaos and misery. This entry into EU was also arranged by the wallenbergs (who are in close connection with the rothchilds, whom owns your FED). They did this because once palme was gone (like your JFK) noone could stop them. They had amassed to much power both in terms of money and bought politicians.
The only country left free to protect and serve its citizens is Norway. They are per capita the richest country in the world. They refused to enter EU (because they got the oil that feeds Europe) and their politicians fear the people and not vice versa. They are a nation whom fiercly fought the Nazis during WW2 and then executed the traitors whom cooperated with these invaders. They are a proud people and we in sweden envy them. their integrity, clearmindedness and ability to refuse jewish influence and capital flow into their nation.
What we see happening in your country (US) really make us sad here in sweden. because we know the painful process of loosing once freedom to power and greed to a few powerful Jews. We showed these people mercy during ww2 and allowed them to flee germany and enter our country. We offered them food and shelter. We educated their children and treated them like equals. Now they have robbed us blind. Destroyed our constitution by forcing us joing the EU and they also try to ignite a conflict between Sweden and Russia as to reengage the swedish weapon industry (Bofors etc) which they own through the wallenberg/rothchild sphere.
Swedes are very patient people and can swallow much pain when needed but the citizens of this country are starting to protest and the current right wing party (walleberg controlled with that bilderberg rat Carl bildt as swedens foreign minister) have the lowest polls ever in swidish history and know they are going to loose next election and be hold accountable for the misery they managed to created.
When will you Americans do somethingabout your situation and clear up your country from these ursurpers presently occupying your white house, treasury and of course rigged elections of two CFR candidates?
When will you organize your own resistance movement and start protesting on the streets of washington in such vast amount (as you did during your vietnam war) that your traitors sitting in the congress, and white house start shaking in fear?
When will you start choosing good leaders in your own state before you send them off to washington?
Once your best president JFK (who saved the world from nuclear armageddon and wanted to abolish the FED) was shot your country went downhill and you were force fed Presidents and senators whom have comitted treason against your own constitution and allowed a few very powerful men litterarly rob you blind while you sit at home thinking about next episode of CSI or whatever.

As I see it, there are four things that need to happen and it has to come from the executive branch. All four need to occur in the same time frame.
1.You would need to reinstall the “retired” military as more likely to be uncorporatized and patriotic.
2. You would have to quickly nationalize and break up the corporate media (leaving the net to its own devices). Then, you would need to have a big reality check with the American people. That, we are under attack, who, what, how and why. Explain that for safety, we need to now decentralize and become lean, mean and self sufficient and have a plan to do so.

Just thought I would let you know that I am not sure where or what you read that led you to believe JFK was the best president. He was as corrupt as the rest.
I am not saying I am glad “they” shot him, no one deserves assassination, no matter how lousy a person. In the US, we supposedly revolt at the election polls. I am only questioning your belief JFK was the best.

JFK could certainly be argued to be one of the”best” presidents. He was one of very few to try to inform the U.S. about secret society politics and the vast influence they had, even back then. I think a man should be judged by the power of his enemies, JFK chose some of the deadliest. Remember what Sick Sigmond said “The Irish are the only people impervious to psychoanalysis.” Whatever you think about John or Bobby Kennedy you have to question how and why they left us. Obviosly some key members of the NWO as far back as the 60’s thought they stood in the way of their plans. Did you know JFK jr. was days away from reopening the investigation into his fathers death? We already stood by while the best and the brightest of the Kennedy family were eliminated. I hardly think we need to kick the corpse’s. RIP John, I’ll always be proud of your sacrifice.

The last straw on the camel’s back in the load called “New World Order” is Global Monetary Authority. It all started very innocently with WTO, followed by GMO and now Monetary Authority.
