Fox News: Martial Law If It’s a Pandemic?
Legal analyst says Americans would be willing to give up rights

A segment on Fox News’ Fox and Friends this morning explored the issue of whether a swine flu pandemic could result in a declaration of martial law in America and a suspension of constitutional rights.
“If it becomes a pandemic, you could lose some simple rights – like going to the movies,” said host Steve Doocy, before introducing legal analyst Peter J. Johnson, Jr.
“People in our government need to start thinking about how, if this actually becomes a pandemic, how it’s going to affect our daily life and our rights,” said Johnson, before asking if people who try to escape quarantines or refuse mandatory vaccinations would face jail time.
Johnson added that Americans were willing to give up rights in order to “stay alive” but that an orderly discussion of how that would happen needs to take place.

Closing schools, closing the border, forcibly quarantining Americans and eliminating the right to freely assemble, including preventing people from going to shopping malls, were all mentioned as possibilities.
“What about legislatures? What about the U.S. Congress? What about courts of law? What about not impaneling juries because we don’t want to have public assemblies?” asked Johnson.
“Plus the possibility of martial law, but that’s a whole other conversation,” added Doocy, with Johnson responding, “not going there”.

Interesting you say that. I believe it will be those who can survive without getting institutionalized into the police state will truly remain free. We certainly have the technology to live “Off the Grid” and my thoughts have been along these lines as well.
Solar power is certainly the beginning, but also being able to barter is going to be a must if you are going to operate outside the dollar. Also I was thinking small groups that specialize in different areas can pull alot more resources for group survival as may have been originally envisioned by early christians and not the puppets in the pulpits you see today. I would cap it by saying that Silver and Gold are always going to have intrinsic value even if currency is on the way out being crashed by the creation of massive debt. Yes and the authority comes from Corp. U.S. breaking its contract with the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. The U.N. is what regulates those contracts. The world government system is based entirely on contracts. When those contracts are broken, an agency, designed and agreed upon to the enforcement of said contracts, has the authority to enforce violations of the terms. I strongly support your resistance movement there in US, especially you guys in Texas.
It’s very likely that bad things will start in this state first. I’ve never been in US but it’s obvious that there are lots of real men in Texas who are ready for any scenario. You are awake, you have guns and you have what to defend – your families and constitution which is the best in the world for today. Anyway if the martial law will be declared and your house will be surrounded by military forces you won’t be able to do much unless you have autonomous communication system with your comrades. Cell phone networks may be shut down, internet may be shut down etc.
If your goal is not to just die with a gun but to take over, you guys should somehow establish a fast-response detachment now, before it’s too late.
And don’t be afraid of the current flu crises. You already know that vaccines may be much more deadlier than the disease itself.

I’m getting reports of lots of activity at many of the bases here in the mid-west. Choppers were flying very low last night after sunset, heading south towards SE Ohio, possibly WPAFB. I’ve been picking up strange transmissions on the scanner today that sounded like military lingo. They were talking about “alternate evac points” – not sure what this means?
Just wanted to also mention, doesn’t this all seem a little suspicious (Bird flu hype) at the same time the census guys are driving around and GPS tagging everyones front door? The Dept. of Commerce has always done the census’s, and now it is taken over by ACORN and Rahm Emanuel is in charge!?!? What the hell’s going on?

If Texas will suceed I will move thier for sure. I graduated HS in FBT aand lived in Austin as a street musician for a year and more. I love Texas. I am waiting for this very thing. I can imagine if the state of the union continues to deteriorate at present speed I expect Texas to suceed before 2012. The sooner Texas suceeds the better our chances to restore a constitutional union. As Texas goes so will the political revolution. Any violent armed resistance will not precede a Texas Succession.

I’m right there, as are many in my county in OK. They’d be better off to stay away from here. OK is one of the 27 states with legislation in the state legislatures to succed and remove power from the US gov.
They seem to forget the hierarchy in this country The People, The State, The Gov. That’s why the 2nd Amendment was written (and in the context of the rights of the individual not state or federal groups or militias), so the people would have on last line of defense against any tyranny including our own federal ( or should I say imperial) government.

Well, first of all, it’s secession, not succession, and, secondly, when you consider that both Texas and Oklahoma each have several FEMA camps ready, do you really think we’re going to see our respective states “protect” us from martial law? The fact is, martial law is going to depend 100% on the full cooperation of the states in order to work – and all fifty of them, including those pretending to “declare sovereignty,” have been preparing for martial law all along. Wake up.

Fruit and vegetable prices have climbed out of reach for the very poor. In a city of 23 million like Mexico City teeming with abject poverty, that’s a death sentence for at least a couple of million. All of the “questions” they “discussed” were scripted. Like everything else on TV, it’s pure mind control. That was not three people sitting around in front of a camera speaking their own thoughts. It was a carefully planned bit of play acting, as it is all the time. Now, what you have to ask yourself is what is the message they are imparting directly into your subconscious? They want us to panic. They want us to rebel. They want us to riot in the streets in response to this phony crisis that their counterparts in the DOD and the intelligence community are carrying out on behalf of their corporate masters. The best thing we can do is to be calm, expose what is false, wake up as many people as we can, and if it comes to the point at which they send troops into the streets to “police” us door to door, then we fight back. If we do anything before then, we are only playing exactly the role we’re being programmed for. They are trying to get us to react violently and irrationally. Don’t give them the satisfaction.

No, most people actually fear their environment far more than they love their liberties. Here in Czech Republic, we had a police state not long ago. Yes, it was bad, but there was one big benefit for the common man: a very low common crime rate with the policemen controling everything you did. And that was the eighties; now they’ll be able to do MUCH better with all the surveilance technology at their disposal. The NWO will be able to cut the rampant crime by ninety percent plus and say: Hey, your folks are safe, the streets are safe again by night, now support us! and very few americans will complain even though this safety has been bought by their liberty.

My uncle was a p51 Mustang pilot over in Bruno during WWII. He died there and last year the towns people built a monument to him and put some of the aircraft parts in their museum. They found some of his remains and shipped them to us after a ceremony that shames anything they do in America for their Vets dead, or alive. Well, actually, trust me, provided that there is a NWO and all that right up to chipping plans, there are quite a lot of rational people and a plethora of irrational ones that in fact would quite agree to it all “because the innocent don’t have to fear” and for other reasons. So I disagree – the media can well keep covering up ad infinitum, with infinitum being for our purpose the establishment of a de facto police state in America.
As for the pandemic, it feels kind of… you know just a while ago I was watching a movie on google (about NWO-ish stuff) and there was this guy who said that the next event on the NWO schledule is probably going to be an outbreak. And a week or so from then – voila! Swine flu.
But we should never submit to mass hysteria. This can still be a natural disease. People like Alex Jones (and those who propagate their ideas) have almost no credibility with the masses by the virtue of them being “conspirationists” so objectivity is really the only weapon there is left.

If the conspiracy theories are true, the System is probably too well organised to fall to some popular uprising; most likely they are prepared to deal with and even counting on some such action of civil disobedience; it might even be just one more stepping stone on the road to achieve world domination – they’ll say: Hey, you are not safe with all those insane revolutionaries running around shooting cops, get chipped for your own protection!
The bottom line: If this is true and if the war is to be won, it must never be about who has the big guns or stronger numbers or even who has the immediate support of civilian population – they’ll best you in all of these things.

This just came to mind. Are you logged into a google account at the time of your search? If you are, it automatically filters your results based on your browsing history. This is why I use Firefox + NoScript and stay logged out of my Gmail account at all times EXCEPT when I go to check my email from that account. If you stay logged into Google while searching, browsing, etc, it DOES keep track of what you search and view and adjusts your searches accordingly. Just a thought to keep in mind

I’ve been keeping a detailed chemtrail journal for two years now, and can prove that they have been spraying with three times (3X) the frequency in the past 60 days!
Also, a couple weeks ago on Good Friday, I observed black chemtrails. Fortunately, I was able to photograph these with a date stamp. Seems odd that this “Swine Flu” starts a few days later!

I don’t know who this guy is, but here are some things I noticed about this so called analyst.
1. Although he mentions he thinks the American people will make sacrifices (which I won’t), he does say there has to be some ordered discussion about this. Okay, so I don’t know what “ordered” discussion means, but most NWO elite don’t like discussions.
2. He tells us not to panic, well, I guess they all say that, but he does raise questions, and the elite hate questions.
3. His eyes do not make any reptilian motions as far as I can tell.

The United States Government has reported 109 laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death. Mexico has reported 97 confirmed human cases of infection, including seven deaths.
The following countries have reported laboratory confirmed cases with no deaths – Austria (1), Canada (19), Germany (3), Israel (2), Netherlands (1), New Zealand (3), Spain (13), Switzerland (1) and the United Kingdom (8).
Further information on the situation will be available on the WHO website on a regular basis.
WHO advises no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders. It is considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention, in line with guidance from national authorities.
There is also no risk of infection from this virus from consumption of well-cooked pork and pork products. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness.

This illustrates a little thing called a difference in perspective, and everyone’s is different. When I review this site I see a bunch of people sharing their concerns about a world that doesn’t seem right and voicing their frustrations. I see a community uniting and standing up for its beliefs.

David- I saw a slew of remarks that I was fairly certain came from a state of emotion like the one you described, and it was hard to not vent a bit myself once I reached the bottom of the thread.
The declaration of taking a stand is typically done in a panicked state. That’s what I see here, and they haven’t even started the more “rigorous” phases of this debacle. The panic creates more panic and it spirals out of control until it’s just another version of fear, but worse.
Emotional reactions are not solutions. Whether in micro level to macro level conflict, the more emotionally reactive side consistently LOSES, whether it is an individual, team, tribe, town or nation.
Fear is their favorite food, with a side of emotional reactivity.
