Free Nationwide Wi-Fi Network To Censor Political Websites

Both individual proposals to roll out free nationwide wi-fi Internet access across the United States contain language indicating that political websites deemed “offensive” will be filtered out and blocked.
The implementation of a universal wi-fi network covering the entire country is moving closer following the approval of House Representatives Anna Eshoo and Edward Markey after it was discovered the network would not interfere with incumbent wireless telcos such as AT&T and Verizon, who had raised concerns over potential signal interference.
Two competing parties, M2Z Networks and the FCC, are jockeying for the rights to roll out the network, but both have already stated their intent to install filters that block out pornography and anything else deemed “harmful”.
According to a Daily Tech report, “Both proposals stipulate that any free wireless offerings have mandatory content filters, preventing users from viewing any material that “would be harmful to teens and adolescents,” including pornography and anything “contemporary community standards” deem as obscene. Free-speech advocates call this condition unconstitutional.”

As we have previously reported, similar free wi-fi networks on smaller scales include mandatory content filters that screen out even mildly political websites that are not part of the corporate establishment media.
London’s St. Pancras International free wi-fi network blocks a barrage of alternative political websites, as we found out earlier this year when our own sites were inaccessible on the network.
“If you follow the logic of the rule, the network would have to block the news because a great deal of it discusses disturbing events or depicts these events through photographs and video clips,” reports ABC News, adding that blogs, social networks and any other user generated content would be excluded entirely from the network.
“If the FCC insists on tying the creation of a free nationwide broadband wireless network to government mandated censorship, the constitutionality of the plan will surely be challenged in court and will be struck down,” states the report.
However, if the rollout of a nationwide network is privatized then what is to stop the company from installing filters that censor political websites? This is already the case in major transport hubs across the west as free speech and anything that goes against the establishment grain is classified as “hateful” and is banned.

WiFi from the G. Who needs it?
BTW, people, you know those digital converter boxes being hawked by the G with the $40 off coupons? The ones designed to keep you informed when the digital switchover (a real stupid idea) takes place in Feb? Rest assured there is a back door key built into everyone of them along with all digital televisions that will allow the G to essentially take over your viewing habits.
Expect to end up paying for programming no matter what the source is, especially those thinking that they are going to still watch it for free via an antenna. Every converter has a ‘kill’ data byte that can shut it off and only the broadcaster can reactivate it, in the same realm as the dish TV networks operate now. Your pay-per-view sat or cable box has an ID serial # placed into the data stream. If the box never decodes it’s number you might as well read a book. Actually, not a bad idea. I’ve been looking around for a new bird feeder anyway. This old RCA might just fit the bill.

If it is free, paid for by Government, people can not claim a violation of the 1st Amendment, as receiving it for free, they submit to the term and conditions set by the Government, therefore entering into a contract, waving any and all claims of Constitutional rights. 12 cute idea, but one must remember that the 1st amendment does not exist with much of the constitution, and the GVT will say that they filter sites for security reasons.
But many wil be happy because it is free, and they will sign up for it because it is free.
Now speaking of free. We did free flu shots, and it rained like hell all day, people drove up to our large PointOF Distrubution P.O.D. and got their vercury with a large grin on their face, why, because it was free. Those who missed out got really mad when we were out.
So it shows how dumb the brainwashed people are. I evenn directed traffic and said with a smile on my face, come get your mercury, you micro chip and its all free. They all thought I was joking and said how I made their day.
Of course I did not get mine, and my team members would not take theirs, but all the nurses in the Public Health Department got theirs.
We are a nation of brainwashed people, and man you want them to sign up for the chip, sell them on how good it is, and give it to them for free.
In two days we went through more then 4000 slut shots. Just wait until the put the chip in them, and people sign up for the next round.

I’m sick and tired of bogus news! Free WiFi? Come on – who is going to pay for it? Where is the money for that vast infrastructure. Besides that the technology wouldn’t work smoothly – and the radio signals would have been so strong that it would interfere with everything.
The did a life test with RFID at one airport and they had significant problems with 100 participants at the same time.

I feel sooo safe with the chicken chokers looking out for my internet safety..NOT!. I’m sure once they pull this blocking off, the Federal Chicken Chokers (FCC) will threaten the other ISPs into submission. Ask any First Responder what has happened to their communications system. All First Responder radio systems will be P25 compliant by 2018. The price of these systems are as much as 5-6 times the cost of current systems & only 30% as reliable. The government criminals don’t want effective Police & Fire. Why would they want reliable & accurate news?
