French Comic Forced To Apologise For Citing 9/11 Theories

France’s favourite stand-up comedian has been forced to apologise for claiming that the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the US seven years ago tomorrow were an “enormous lie” orchestrated by the American government.
The allegations by Jean-Marie Bigard have caused consternation in France because the comedian – who specialises in foul-mouthed, scatological and sexist humour – is a close friend of President Nicolas Sarkozy.
On a radio show last Friday, the comedian interrupted a discussion on American politics, to say that it was “absolutely sure and certain” that the US government had stage-managed the 9/1l attacks in which 2, 896 people died.

“The two planes which crashed in a forest and on the Pentagon never existed. There never were any planes. It’s an absolutely enormous lie,” M. Bigard said.
“It was an American missile which hit the Pentagon. That’s now been proved. It was a programmed demolition.”
Asked by the presenter of the show on Europe 1 radio where he found his information, M. Bigard replied “the internet”.
In a statement to Agence France-Presse yesterday, M. Bigard said that he wanted to “apologise to everyone”.
“I will never speak again about the events of 11 September,” he said. “I will never express any more doubts.”

Is someone creating another straw man? 2 planes in a forest, no planes involved. Then the kicker..I found it on da intunet.
Maybe this guy is a comedian…but he sure ain’t no actor. He got his script all jumbled.

I guess he got the limelight for a short while. That was obviously the reason behind his outburst. Publicity. .. pity he didn’t bother to cite any of the evidence, or quote any of the scholars instead claiming the “Internet” somehow proves his argument.. though perhaps people will look on the ‘Internet’ after this, so maybe that’s a good thing.

BeTrueSeekTruth needs to read that sentence again. 1 plane crashed in a forest and 1 plane crashed into the Pentagon. That makes 2 planes. He said the one in the forest was not a plane and a missile hit the Pentagon. If you don’t understand something, read it four or five times, before coming to the conclusion it doesn’t make sense. The article said he was a close friend of the French President who is former MOSSAD so they probably threatened him not to doubt the official story. He was too obvious when he said “I will never speak again about the events of 11 September,” and “I will never express any more doubts.”

The plane that hit the ground in the ‘forest’ was so clean, one would think that it was just an explosion, no debris. Check out the Lockerbie crash, with all the trash and the enormous crater, the one with the 911 plane was small and very clean.

The difference is that now these theories have a visibility. Before, there were roughly a word “official” and minority viewpoints were expressed, as noted Hubert Védrine, “in discussions troquet the bottom end of the campaign.” But today, with the proliferation of means of expression, the views expressed so-called minority. And it requires to review the problem. Listening to Beck this morning—and… WOW, that guy would rather relive the horror of 9-11 than actually talk about seeking those responsible for the horror. He honors the dead by playing snippets of audio of death and destruction, throws a ball full of cow dung at 9-11 truthers, and then goes on his rampage on how sick he is of both sides, all on the verge of tears.

If anyone should be forced to apologize, it’s the corrupt owners of the corporate TV “news” networks — as well as the intellectual whores who shamelessly serve them — for using the public’s very own airwaves as a means of knowingly deceiving the majority of the public into believing the government’s fairy tale account of 9/11.
As for the snickering, insult-spewing, authority-worshipping know-it-alls who continue to mindlessly believe every lie the government tells them concerning 9/11 and other issues, they’ll find out soon enough just how badly they’ve been “punked” by the very authority figures in whom they’ve invested so much blind faith over the years. They won’t be snickering like schoolgirls then.

If Sarkozy wasn’t wieliding influence over the French, this guy would not be pilloried like he is. The originating article’s authur, one Lichfeld, uses the term “highly selective evidence” to describe loose change. What does that mean? Soudns like an attempted dismissal to me. When one makes a case against a defendent in court, do they not use the highly selective evidence that points to culpibility? Last time I checked, that’s the usual method of proving your legal theory. Has been for a few hundred years now, I believe. But I guess Lichfeld is a movie-critic on the side, as well as an expert in the mountains of improbably strange events and links before, during and after the events of 911. OK, so he is neither. Which makes his premature snubbing all the more juvenile, tasteless and almost desperate.

I agree with RonRon. He knew the cat was out of the bag. The apology was formality only. Kudos for saying it. He has more cajones than 99.99% of Hollywood, film or music. Just imagine if Bono had the balls to speak out. He is afraid he will lose his AIDS funding no doubt. But people would sit up and take notice if major media stars would come out of the 9/11 closet and push this thing into the mainstream. Maybe we should have a mass boycott of movies and music for ONE YEAR. The quickest way to get anything done is hit them where it hurts, in the bank account.

What can you say, the LIE was in place by 11 am, and we have to be stuck with it. Forget that the news stations had breaking news that building 7 collapsed, but whoops, was 22 minutes early. We are the most ignorant people that have ever lived, they say it, we repeat it, and if you think something different, YOUR THE IDIOT. It may not be our fault in total, with the teaching style of SIT DOWN, AND SHUT UP, and all the chemicals in the environment, and poisons in our vaccines, but what explains the fact that a LOT OF US CAN SEE THE WIZARD BEHIND THE CURTAIN ? I have seen it first hand, at a marketing survey place. The Oblong room with glass on two sides, with gigantic speaker boxes every three feet on the walls, with the width of the room not much larger than the big conference table that was the center piece. The speaker gave a twenty minute opening spiel, then left the room. I ALMOST JUMPED OUT OF MY SEAT BY THE ENSUING LAUGHTER THAT ERUPTED AFTER SHE LEFT. I raised an eyebrow as I looked through the glass while shaking my head for I could not believe after seeing the room, and knowing why you were there, how could you not know you were being observed ? I woke a couple of people up across from me by looking around the room as they were laughing, to remind them that the people behind the glass were probably laughing, and hi fiveing themselves at our stupidity. The Speaker came back into the room, and gave me a look, so I shrugged, and went along with it afterwards, for I was curious if I would also forget where I was at, and what was going on. I could’nt, but it was interesting watching the others, and helping lead them with questions during the periods the speaker left the room.
