French professor sacked over 9/11 conspiracy theory

An academic in France has been sacked by the Ministry of Defence after questioning the official version of events surrounding the 9/11 attacks. He now reportedly plans to sue the government.
Aymeric Chauprade lost his job allegedly over the introduction to his latest book about political crises around the world, and more specifically, that the 9/11 attacks in New York City and Washington D.C. were an orchestrated “American-Israeli conspiracy”. The Defence Minister had strong objections to the material, so Aymeric had to go.
Jean Dominique Merchet, a French journalist, was the first to report on the sacking.
“The Ministry of Defence has reacted too brutally. They have transformed Chauprade into a victim, and not an intellectual opponent – even if what he defends is not good,” Merchet said.
Chauprade explained his firing by the Ministry of Defence as the result of him speaking about a subject that was considered off limits.

“I touched upon a taboo – the theory of a conspiracy plot. Apparently there is only one possibility in an accidental world. And all the wars have sprung from this – Afghanistan and so on.”
The book’s introduction highlights a theory that the twin towers were blown up as part of an American-Israeli pact.
“He did scientific work – see it’s written here, ‘the theories included here are contesting the official theory of Muslim responsibility’. That’s an opinion!” says Chauprade’s lawyer Antoine Beauquier.
Defence Minister Herve Morin was reportedly outraged by the suggestions and demanded the academic’s sacking from his job at the French Military College in Paris, where Chauprade was teaching geopolitics.
The Ministry has refused to comment on the affair.

There are no green people, so why say green? I’ve been hearing people say the “I don’t care if you are black, white or pink with green spots” type thing all my life and they are usually white and do care very much. They give themselves away by including colours( uk spelling) of people that don’t exist which masks the fact that for them the most important colour is white. It’s not really their fault though, it’s just the way they were brought up. Guilt doesn’t achieve anything, only self knowledge is important.

Proffering wildly speculative and unsubstantiated claims as truth should get you fired from academia. Teachers and profesors have a duty to their students to teach them not only facts, but, essentially, how to think. If this is the French professor’s idea of critical thinking, and he is teaching this to his students, and he is getting paid, he is corrupting the educational process, accepting money he does not deserve and ruining impressionable minds.

well since we are talking about students. Teach and tell are practically the same thing aren’t they? Since students don’t really know how to think before they are taught how to think by parents or teachers. If a baby is taught something it will know how to do it and do it but not know if it is wrong or right. Btw in the education system in the Uk students are basically told what to think since the education is extremely controlled and filtered. Students are taught in Biology and Chemistry that climate change is man-made, yet they don’t show students the data to support that theory but just the theory itself. I’m not saying that climate change isn’t man-made or natural it’s just that the Uk education system is incredibly filtered.

A few facts that contradict your “thoughts”
Professors, unless teaching theory, are supposed to teach facts and let the students decide what they think of the facts. Teaching an opinion as a fact is called indoctrination.
Since the theories about 9/11 being an “inside job” are all very easily disproved, teaching this is the same as teaching students that the tooth fairy is real. It’s nonsense. This is very similar to why Dr. Steven Jones is no longer teaching at BYU. He presented his theories about 9/11 and a controlled demolition as fact, the physics and engineering departments there asked to look over his findings to present to the school what they found and then he resigned instead of standing up for his work. For some reason he didn’t have the same confidence he shows on his website….
If your going to be in a position to teach, you should distinguish to your students between your theories and what is known to be a fact.

reconmarine you have to see that most people don’t think it was inside job for sure. They just feel that the official story is false as facts have shown. For example the official story says that the burning jet feul weakened the steel frames causing the building to collapse yet through a few searches on google you realise that steel cannot be weakened by jet feul due to temperature limitations. Furthermore the twin towers fell into their footprint. I’m not saying to every mm footprint but a generalisation in the term footprint as in vertical collapse. Also through the use of Jenga you realise that that a structural damage results in a sideways collapse not a vertical collapse. Once you realise that the official story is bogus you realise that the only being that has the capacity to do this operation is the corrupt people in the governement since they control practically all of the US security.

Mr. Reconmarine, you claim all these facts and how great a debator you are and how foolish those who believe a an “inside job” for WTC collapse, but on a previous post you claimed Larry Silverstein lost money with the collapse of the Twin towers.
I checked and could not find such obvious information. The established media reported he made at least $3 billion of the towers and was suing for $7 billion claiming each tower was a seperate attack. How did he lose money and what are your fabulous unquestionable sources or a confirmed balance sheet on money he paid for control of the towers, operation costs Vs. insurance paid because of attacks?
I think I might find you somewhat more credible if you can provide information as opposed to mindless and pointless character attacks. I want to approach this with an Open Mind. I don’t need to belittle people for their belief. I just wish you could provide some evidence to support your claims.

Your post does not back up your claim. Is that all you’ve got? Silverstien was awarded billions in insurance money for an initial outlay of 100 million or so. The fact that he is using that money to build buildings that he will own the rights to and collect rent on in NO WAY SUPPORTS YOUR CLAIM THAT HE DID NOT PROFIT.
Of course you lost all credibility long ago with such ridiculous claims as the molten metal observed at the bases of all three towers was due to “spontaneous combustion.” I believe you likened it to a haystack fire on a farm or some such nonsense. Heres a clue for you genius: fires need oxygen to burn. The more available oxygen, the hotter they burn. If you had paid attention in middle school science class you would understand that. A big pile of debris on top of and smothering a fire does not make it burn hotter.
I’ve seen a lot of debunking trolls the last 7 years. You are by far the lamest of them all. If they’re paying you a nickel a post, that’s 5 cents more than you’re worth.

Reconmarine can you please read my post properly. I said the official story says the jet feul weakened the steel which then caused the building to collapse ie the weakened structure. Yet you completely lied infront of everyone saying the steel could be weakened into a non supporting way. Steel does not change its molecular structure until around 900 celsius so the steel would not have been affected by the burning jet feul because that burns at 400-500 celsius. Just search in steel and jet feul in google and you’ll see. And you made my point exactly with the Windsor example; the top 11 floors collapsed notice the word ‘Top’ not the whole building. If you can show me footage of the Windsor tower completely collapsing in a uniform way ill be happy.
Did you watch any footage of the collapses??? Did you read my post??? I said foot print as in vertical collapse. Look at the videos and you’ll see a vertical collapse. It’s not about protecting other buildings it’s about the controlled demolition fashion. A controlled demolition is done like that because that’s the most efficient way to take down a building ie the easiest and the quickest.

This is a post out of the debate. I’ll try and keep debate and non-debate posts seperate. Most people who go against us when we make assumptions which are correct make themselves look out of the norm to try and make us look stupid. It’s really convenient how people who debate against us always say we are wrongly presuming something just to try and catch us out when we are clearly making the logical presumption and the correct assumption. And for you reconmarine you use technicalities (sp?) to not debate with us when we have tried to debate with you. And when we do debate you support a story which is impossible.

I would like that but I have wasted enough time on this website for today. Mostly trying to figure out who the perv is that is impersonating people. I have appealed to the webmaster about it and hopefully there will be a solution.
If it truly is not you, then I apologise and take back the coward comment. The fight’n words were mostly designed to get a reaction out of you – and I would take it that far if it meant squashing some stupid ignorant putz(not necessarily you), yes. Tell me more about this radio show and how I can find it – I would be glad to appear on it to debate with you at a later date. It would help me to know ahead of time as I only get on the internet at a certian time and place being that my home does not have internet access.

Newton sir, Newton! In the supposed age of science we have forgotten about Newton. The reasons why so many people like yourself continue to believe in the myth of 9.11 has nothing to do with science and everything to do with the nature of the culture we live in. We are used to believing what we are told especially when it links in to the idea that Muslims are cruel, which goes back to the medieval times and the Crusades. People believed it then and unfortunately they are easily convinced of it today. It’s very clever of the elite really but it doesn’t say very much about the ability of the masses to use science to work things out. It makes you wonder what the point is of teaching science at all! It would be cheaper just to sit children in front of Fox news all day!

I WAS ON WEST STREET NEAR THE NORTH BRIDGE AFTER THE NORTH TOWER FELL AND PART OF THE STRUCTURE WAS STILL UP AND WAS EXPLODING FROM THE TOP LIKE ROCKETS.
