If the final USA Today/Gallup poll is any indication, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) has achieved his widest lead in the presidential race to date.
In addition, Obama’s favorable rating is 62 percent — the highest of any presidential candidate tracked in Gallup’s final pre-election polls dating back to 1992.
Obama holds an 11 point lead in the final poll of likely voters taken by the polling organization, up one point from the previous day.
Just a day before the polls open, Obama leads Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), 53 to 42 percent in the Gallup poll. The numbers are based on interviews conducted by phone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The group surveyed is based on Gallup’s model of those most likely to show up at the polls.
(Article continues below)
No candidate behind in the Gallup poll at the end of October has ever won the presidency.
Obama is also ahead in the Washington Post ABC poll (11 points), the CBS/NY Times poll (13 points), and the CNN poll (7 points).
Obama leads in six states that went for Bush in 2004: Real Clear Politics’ average shows Obama ahead in Colorado (5.5 percentage points), New Mexico (7.3), Nevada (5.8), Virginia (3.8), Pennsylvania (7), Florida (4.2), Ohio (4.2) and North Carolina (0.3). McCain leads in the swing states of Arizona (3.5 points), Georgia (3), Montana (3.8), Missouri (0.7) and Indiana (0.5).
Also, “Gallup says that when it allocates the 4% of likely voters who either had no opinion or would not choose between Obama and McCain, it estimates the candidates’ current support levels would most likely be 55% for Obama, 44% for McCain.”
Sarah Palin’s popularity is hemorrhaging, the poll says — 45 percent now rate McCain’s choice as poor, a worse-than-total reversal from a poll directly following the Republican National Convention when 60 percent deemed her selection “excellent” or “good.”
Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE), meanwhile, retains similar numbers to the period following his selection; 60 percent say his choice was excellent or pretty good, whereas the same figure was 63 percent in early September.

This is so meaningless. This guy is not going to change anything except make your taxes higher, and he will do that as soon as he is elected so people will forget about it down the road, if he is smart.
I’m going to vote for Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr because I don’t want my taxes to go up and I frankly don’t want any Democrats or Republicans in office.

I’m planning to vote for Chuck Baldwin. Why vote for someone who doesn’t believe in freedom or the Constitution? Why vote for someone who mocks the Bill of Rights? Why vote for someone who will continue destructive policies that are enslaving us and destroying our economy? “He has shown thee, Oh man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” from the Bible, Micah 6:8.

Elections are entertainment productions keeping the people distracted of the real goings on. Elections are another brainwashing technique used to trick the people into thinking “we the people” have some say, some power. Most of us are not dumb we all know by now that the powers behind the throne [we all have our opinion who these crooks are, I happen to believe it is the world financiers of all types mostly Zionist jews and their lovers] are the real earthly rulers/deciders/manipulators. Like it has been said a trillion times before the DemRep party and their front men are merely puppets for the NWO agenda. I don’t like it and wish it wasn’t like this but this is what I have come to see. So what can this wage slave do? Slowly I am dropping out, living off the grid. Be happy living with my friends and family in our self-sustained community and leave the things of man behind on Rodeo Drive.
PEACE OUT

What I don’t understand is why 3rd party candidates aren’t allowed in the debates! I hated the Bush administration and I think anyone is better than that good ol’ boy asshole, because he shamed us in the eyes of the rest of the world. I recently asked a French girl what people thought of us over there and she said. “They hate you.” So I asked, “All Americans, or just Bush?” She said, “No. Pretty much all of you.” We’ve become a bad joke to the world simply because we let this asshole run things. It’s everyone’s fault. It’s not the fault of the Bush administration, and I’m sure Obama will somehow redeem us in the eyes of the world. But every bad decision made by politicians is the fault of the American people and their willingness to buy any lie the politicians throw at them. The world is slowly becoming a George Orwell or Phillip k Dick novel and it’s my fault, it’s your fault, it’s everyone’s fault.

If Obomba really has such high numbers, it is just a testimony to the effectiveness of flouride, cell phones, TV, and the “education” system to impair and dumb down the average American. His words are empty, his promises for change are undefined and vague, and his more specific plans are just plain scary. He dodges the question of his citizenship instead of openly proving it. With Barr being ex-CIA and Nader being a lawyer, like all many other law-breaking officials, the only candidate offering real change and a restoration of constitutional government is Chuck Baldwin. He is an awesome man, courageous, articulate, honest and intelligent, much like the founders of this country. He got my mail-in vote several weeks ago.

Of course he does…..with the Lamestream media fawning and drooling over him since his arriving from “out of nowhere” to become something akin to a rock star? It has been planned all along. I told everyone when Obama became a senator that it was merely a steppingstone to the presidency…..and here we are…. surprise, surprise.

As Americans return to their polling booths once again to restore the corrupt, criminal DeMOBlican Tory-Conservatist Tyranny to it’s stranglehold on the political mechanisms of Washington it’s really a serious time for Constitutionalists to blame themselves for fostering the most inept, inconsisten back biting and disunited opposition campaigns in history in opposition to the PNAC/CFR/MI6/CIA-Pentagon Terrorist Cabals.
While it was good to have many opposition parties and voices heard early in the nominating stages of the election it was a disaster for us not to have united in a third party convention and fallen behind a single Nader, Baldwin. McKinney or Barr candidacy! Being shut out of the debates and the conventions because of our own disunity and divisions of purpose was a crying shame.
Worse yet with rampant electronic voting frauds and third party splits it is possible now for the Lincoln Pedophile Bush sex and drugs extortion clan to regain the Whitehouse with their McCain puppet.

A testimony to the incredible ignorance, stupidity, and naiivety of the American People. Unfortunately, sometimes when you ask for something, you get it, but it might not be exactly as advertised. Obama is the ultimate, walking false advertisement. He will take this country straight down into the abyss.

It’s now time to revolt. Vote all incumbents out of office and arm yourselves. The Bilderbergs are baring their teeth!
