Gallup Poll: Americans Turning Against Federal Reserve
Opinions souring as efforts to audit the Fed gain momentum

As momentum builds for Ron Paul’s efforts to audit the Fed, a new Gallup poll shows that Americans are turning against the Federal Reserve, with just 30 per cent saying the agency is doing a good job.
35 per cent rate the job the Fed is doing as “only fair” and 22 per cent say it is doing a “poor” job.
The contrast compared with when the question was last asked in 2003 is clear. Six years ago, just 5 per cent thought the Fed was doing a “poor” job, while 53% thought it was doing a “good/excellent” job.
The Fed is bottom of the pile when compared to the ratings received by other agencies in the poll (we hesitate to call the Fed a “government agency” because it isn’t). The IRS and the FDA are the other two least popular agencies.
According to Gallup editor in chief Dr. Frank Newport, “Americans are blaming to some degree the actions or inactions of the Federal Reserve board” for the economic turmoil.
Increasing skepticism towards the role of the Federal Reserve arrives alongside efforts on behalf of Congressman Ron Paul to audit the Fed with his widely supported H.R.1207 bill.
The legislation would amend existing law to allow the Comptroller General to audit the Federal Reserve Board and its member banks.
Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke seems frightened to death at what might be revealed if the Federal Reserve were forced to open its books and has been busy scuttling around lying about the bill in order to try and shoot it down.

During an appearance on PBS NewsHour which will be aired later this week, Bernanke claims that the bill will hand Congress the power to run monetary policy in the United States.
However, as CBS News’ Declan McCullagh points out, it does nothing of the sort.
“This is an odd claim,” writes McCullagh. “If you read the bill (H.R.1207), it simply amends existing law to say “under regulations of the Comptroller General, the Comptroller General shall audit” the Federal Reserve Board and its member banks.”
Bernanke has proven that he will stoop to any level in order to try and sink the bill, which has the support of over half of the U.S. House of Representatives, even committing an act of economic terrorism last month when he threatened a collapse of the dollar and the entire financial system if the bill was passed.
One thing that an audit of the Fed might shed more light on is the destination of trillions of dollars in TARP funds, which the Federal Reserve refuses to disclose even after a lawsuit was filed by Bloomberg, as well as the destination of half a trillion dollars that was given to foreign banks.
During a hearing last week, Bernanke was confronted on the question of who received $500 million in credit swaps by Congressman Alan Grayson, to which Bernanke responded, “I don’t know.”
“Half a trillion dollars and you don’t know who got the money?” asked Grayson.

Looks more like, more talking and no action. While they all argue and grill eachother the audit bill is just sitting in committee as it gets closer and closer to its death. They need to stop bickering on who knows what and who is guilty, they need to get this rolling and put it to a vote. They’re all stalling. It goes to show you that even extreme public pressure isnt getting anything done. It will take a Iranian protest to get their attention. The Iranian protests werent even in the US obviously or had anything to do with US policies and STILL got Washington’s attention.

What about dismantling all of the FED companies that they have built around there holding company. I would like to see those assets re destributed to we the people and have the property returned as well. What about FEMA, can we dismantle that since the powers that be within the FED started that agency. There is so much that we could do and would probably do. This H.R. 1207 bill would expose all of the worng doings of the FED and it’s owners and would start a man hunt bigger than after WWII. I hope they hang them all for treesen.

The churches will tell you it is referring to the Vatican in Rome To hold the view that this Babylon is referring to the Vatican, you basically ignore 98% of the Scriptures referring to it and hold to one verse that can be easily discredited because a misunderstanding of one term in one verse that can easily be clarified. That is how warped the whole Vatican theory is that most churches and prophecy ‘gurus’ preach today when it comes to Revelation chapters 17 and 18. Why? Why do they want the focus on somewhere else instead of where the Bible is really speaking of?

22. Babylon is a SINGULAR NATION founded upon OUT OF MANY, ONE (Isa 13, 47, Jer 50, 51, Hab 1).

51. Is noted for its elegant and extravagant lifestyle (Rev. 18:14).
52. Is noted for being a city/nation of immigrants from all over the world (Rev. 18:15).

58. Is the center for world trade in gold, silver, copper, oil, precious gems, cloth, clothing, fashions, lumber, containers, household items, furniture, wine, livestock, transportation, health products, cosmetics, spices, marble, irony, and iron. (Rev. 18:11-13)
There is no other city or nation on earth that could fulfill these requirements other than the United States of America. There are some who hold to the view this passage is referring only to New York City. In fact, it refers to both NYC and the entire nation. The term “city” translated from the Greek means city or nation. In this instance, it refers to a nation led by its chief city, which is New York City. So in some instances it is talking about New York City, and in others the nation itself. And if you’re not convinced, go back and read all these prophecies again about the last great nation on earth.
The Bible Codes confirm that America is Babylon, and that the beasts coming will rule here, will be here, and will take over and destroy this country on their way to global rule from Jerusalem.
Isn’t it amazing that there are over 100 prophecies that only one super power nation in the last days could fulfill and the churches tell you today that America isn’t mentioned in last days prophecies? Insane.
This is how the Bible describes its demise.
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. The destruction of this country will be so severe that it will be uninhabitable. Not even the light of one lamp will be found in this place. For in one day it will be reduced to rubble.

Um, actually, if handled responsibly an audit can create much more faith in the dollar. America will finally be able to take stock of it’s wealth, and as a result, foreign interests will me much more willing to invest in the dollar. Honesty leads to trust, and trust leads to investment – it’s a simple equation. Foreign interests will finally know what they are investing in, for one. Not only that, it will allow us to take a more realistic look at the broad economic trends of de-industrialization, and the loss of our manufacturing sector. It will allow us to better control the printing of money, which will slow inflation drastically. We may even be able to burn excess liquidity that is in a state of flux, and back all privately held currency with silver, and maybe even someday we’ll see a return to the gold standard.
Auditing the Fed is the responsible first step to turning the economy around. Also, once the Europeans see that America demands transparency of our financial institutions, it won’t be long before Europeans demand the same from their financial sector. The Euro will collapse if the Europeans DON’T follow us by auditing their institutions. Obviously, more people will be willing to invest in the dollar over the Euro if we can manage to clean all the gunk out of our economic gears before Europe can. It would probably spell the death of the Euro eventually. I would say that your fear would be valid, except that all other major international banking foundations are as corrupt as the Fed, if not more so. People are look for a sensible economy to invest in. America could become that if we take the first step and look at our books before proceeding in any old random direction (bailouts, anyone?)

When Bernanke threatend to crash the entire financial system if the fed was audited at that point all conversation should have stopped. The police should have entered the room and placed Bernanke under arrest for treason and financial terrorism. All Congressional business should have ceased and an emergency meeting called to replace the fed secretary with someone NOT on Goldman Saches list of canidates. So my question is this. If they claim that there is no plan to change currencies in the United States then why so much talk about auditing the Reserve. Seems to me they guide all of you down a road they claim they aren’t on. You all think your making the independent choice to blast the reserve ( which is outdated that much I will give you ) but seems to me none of you are truly making the choice. There are 279 congresspeople signed up as of July 22, 2009 to audit the fed. I think some are between a rock and a hard place since the secret meeting on March 13, 2008. Jason Burmas has a few wrongheaded ideas there, not as perfect as alex. jason I remember one day pissed me off. he said why don’t cops come after some druggie’s guns, instead of his, when we all have the right to defend ourselves. also he stated that wallmart, landscape, warehouse people are losers, without realizing that they may be in that predictament because they are whistleblowers, or not going to go along with many high paying jobs today that require one to surrender one’s moral compass at the door.
