George H. W. Bush: I’d like to see Jeb elected president

This morning on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked former President George H.W. Bush about the possibility of his son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, running for Senate. The former president expressed his hope that Jeb would run and then told Wallace that he’d ultimately like to see Jeb elected president:
WALLACE: In terms of public service and ability to help the country, you’d like to see [Jeb] run [for Senate]?H. W. BUSH: I’d like to see him run, I’d like to see him be president someday, or maybe senator, whatever.
In an apparent reference to the current President Bush’s unpopularity, H. W. Bush then joked, “I mean, right now is probably a bad time. We’ve had enough Bushs in there.” Watch it:

Update: Bush also complimented Obama, saying, “I’m impressed with him. I’m very impressed with his style on the campaign and his coolness and his articulate nature. I think he can give a sentence and it will sound like it’s been thought out by Shakespeare or something.”
Update: When asked about his son’s failures, the elder Bush said, “You can go back to your, what do you call it, your Google, and you figure out all that.”

This man needs to be tried for several murders. There is a lot of evidence dating back to the kennedy assassination. There are many many crimes it would appear he has been involved in.
Jeb appears to be heavily involved in narcotics trade. It would be nice to see the lot of em in the pokey

Only a Bush could have the nerve to endorse one son on the heels of the most corrupt administrations in US history by another son. I guess this is one of the qualifications of being a murder and a thief. One thing about the bush’s there evil is exceeded only by there creed. Its odd that a man that has committed some many crimes could gave him and his staff blanket pardons and walk away as free as a bird.

Personally, for a man who has been running the White House for 27 years, he really seems like an elderly grandpa. I do not believe that he (they) or any Nazi will permit a man who has any black blood to become president. In 14 days or less we will all find out. I know, I know, a little odd to come to this realization after 8 whole, execrable years.
First of all, Obama is NOT the great orator of which people seem to assume. He is intelligent, tactile and segacious. But that is what one would EXPECT from the former editor of the Harvard Law Review.
When compared to Lincoln, Franklin or any one of those geniuses; or heck, when compared to a decent poet, he is severely lacking.
Even Bill Clinton was a better speaker.
But then again, in the end, its all brutally relative, isn’t it? So ya, I suppose to “W”, Obama does come across as the greatest literary genius of the last 500 years.

I am a Florida Republican. I do not love Jeb Bush. Florida is bankrupt; we have a billion dollar revenue shortfall. Our universities have limited enrollments because of no state funding. Our state’s short-term investment and pension funds lost $334 million because he invested in Edison charter schools. They paid $40.00 a share and sold it at less than 15 cents a share. Hundreds of millions of public money has been lost or stolen by his cronies; yet every tax advantage has been given to corporations and the wealthy. He privatized our state prisons, they are thriving businesses. He contracted Children and Families Services and many kids were lost. The FCAT preps were owned by brother Neil’s company, and we are about to see our public education system stripped bare. He pulled a “special Terrie Shiavo debacle session” to take the media heat off the Abramoff scandal. Jeb is great at the dog and pony show at hurricane season, but when $69 million in Fema money was flagrantly dolled out to 2004 good re-election voters he never opened his mouth to condemn the actions; while actual hurricane victims stood in lines for clean water waiting for help that never came. Family situation is no Brady Brunch; his wife got caught smuggling, didn’t declare fancy dresses from Paris, his daughter is a prescription shopper and in and out of rehabs, the son has anger management issues, the other son is a party animal and has a bevy of documents on Smoking Gun.
