Georgia ‘will join NATO’: Merkel

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday assured Georgia would join NATO as she strongly backed the ex-Soviet republic’s President Mikheil Saakashvili in his conflict with Russia.
“Georgia will become a member of NATO if it wants to — and it does want to,” she told reporters before talks with Saakashvili in Tbilisi.
It was one of the strongest statements yet of support for Georgia’s NATO membership bid, which is fiercely opposed by Russia.

“We are on a clear road towards NATO membership (for Georgia),” she added at a later news conference.
On August 12, German Defence Minister Franz Josef Jung had said the conflict in the Caucusus had changed nothing with regard to Georgia’s chances of joining the NATO military alliance.
At the last NATO summit in Bucharest in April, leaders agreed that Georgia and Ukraine should join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization eventually, but neither nation was given candidate status and no timetables were set.

Merkel grew up in communist eastern germany where she joined the FDJ, the communist Hitler Youth. There she made a career out of voluntarily (!) working as a propaganda secretary (!). After the fall of the Berlin wall she joined the Christian Democratic Party (the German “Republicans”) and became Chancellor in 2005, shortly after attending Bilderberg in Munich that year.
Now she proposed that Georgia, a country that ethnically cleansed southern Ossetia, killing 2000 ethnic Russians, should become a NATO member. Meanwhile Saakashvili is illegaly having a EU flag in his office which you can see during speeches he gives. But I guess NATO and EU are criminal organizations anyway.
Merkel is a disgrace for Germany and a danger to the world. She needs to be in jail.

Since when was Georgia even in Europe. That EU flag was a double insult. That the Georgians should be using it was bad enough, that it exists at all is an abomination to every free person in Europe.
Who are the EU planning to join up next? Bolivia, Chad, New Zealand. Hardly less European than Georgia and in New Zealand’s case at least, highly more desirable.
I suppose Georgia will be inflicted on us in the Eurovision song contest next year. According to that silly contest Europe stretches like elastic, Israel????They must be kidding.
Of course Israel joining is the ultimate aim for NATO. There is nothing more that the real axis of evil (USA/Israel/Britain) would love than to be able to expend useless goyim lives in defence of The Jewish World domination. Good Brits are already being sacrificed for corporate oil. A travesty.

Georgia in NATO…how far from the North Atlantic do you have to be, NOT to be in NATO.
So,if Russia “attacks” Georgia again in a similar way, and Georgia is a member of NATO, will the member countries (Europe and the USA) then turn around and attack Russia, as they come to a member countries aid? I think not!

Georgia is not on the right side of the Caucus mountains to be part of Europe. It is also a predominantly muslim country. No thank you Angie my sweet!

Angela Verkel is as much a Bush ass kisser as Sarkozy. I can’t understand why so many Europeans have elected politicians who are hellbent on dragging Europe down the hole. Is it in Europe’s interest to be (ab)used by the US criminal Bush administration? Why send troops to fight in Afghanistan, thereby enabling the US to redeploy their troops in yet another imperialistic crime. Do the European ‘leaders’ think that they will not be held accountable for the US war crimes they support. It seems that they have all been bought and paid for, disgusting bunch of political prostitutes.

Let them talk, those stupid Western politicians, you know Sarkozy, Merkel, Brown, and so on. The Russians have finally act in order to re-equilibrate the power distribution. I suppose Merkel spoke those stupid words only to please Bush and Israel, knowing well that nothing like that will ever happen. Maybe it was intentionally so that Russia expands their forces around the borders. What precisely happened with their pledge to install missiles in Syria pointing Israel. That way, she contributes to prevent an escalation, while the contrary seems to occur.
Otherwise I don’t understand why her minister of foreign affairs is saying just the opposite at the NATO meeting today.

If I were Putin, I would simply invade all of Georgia and Ukraine, annex eastern and southern Ukraine, which are in any case mostly inhabited by Russians who would be ecstatic to come back to the fold, and then install compliant puppet governments in Georgia and in the Ukrainian rump. The US and the rest of NATO wouldn’t do a thing, except whine like the little decadent bitches that they are. I mean, what could they do, declare war on Russia and face down 10,000 nuclear weapons? Or perhaps impose economic sanctions on Russkies, the world’s largest oil producers, which would make the price of that wonderful black goo instantly soar to perhaps 1,000 dollars a barrel.
Do it, Vlad. Let’s see if the “Free World” will have the guts to lift even one finger to stop it. I doubt it.

Some European countries like Poland, UK, France and Germany, etc. would be well advised to keep a close eye on their bought and payed for corrupted government officials if they do not want to be dragged in an all-out war by them and sacrificed for the benefit of the US war criminals in the Bush administration.
If history has taught us one thing, it is that the imperial US government can’t be trusted and will just as easily betray former allies is it is serves their goals.
Just remember how easily they dumped France when it refused to subserviently help with the invasion of Iraq. Who does not remember the pathetic and extremely immature ‘Freedom Fries’
