Global Warming Is a Fraud

As the years pass and data accumulate, it is becoming evident that global warming is a fraud. Climate change is natural and ongoing, but the Earth has not warmed significantly over the last thirty years. Nor has there been a single negative effect of any type that can be unambiguously attributed to global warming.
As I write, satellite data show that the mean global temperature is the same that it was in 1979. The extent of global sea ice is also unchanged from 1979. Since the end of the last Ice Age, sea level has risen more than a hundred meters. But for the last three years, there has been no rise in sea level. If the polar ice sheets are melting, why isn’t sea level rising? Global warming is supposed to increase the severity and frequency of tropical storms. But hurricane and typhoon activity is at a record low.
Every year in the US, more than forty thousand people are killed in traffic accidents. But not one single person has ever been killed by global warming. The number of species that have gone extinct from global warming is exactly zero. Both the Antarctic and Greenland Ice Sheets are stable. The polar bear population is increasing. There has been no increase in infectious disease that can be attributed to climate change. We are not currently experiencing more floods, droughts, or forest fires.
In short, there is no evidence of any type to support the idea that we are entering an era when significant climate change is occurring and will cause the deterioration of either the natural environment or the human standard of living.
Why do people think the planet is warming? One reason is that the temperature data from weather stations appear to be hopelessly contaminated by urban heat effects. A survey of the 1221 temperature stations in the US by meteorologist Anthony Watts and his colleagues is now more than 80 percent complete. The magnitude of putative global warming over the last 150 years is about 0.7 °C. But only 9 percent of meteorological stations in the US are likely to have temperature errors lower than 1 °C. More than two-thirds of temperature sensors used to estimate global warming are located near artificial heating sources such as air conditioning vents, asphalt paving, or buildings. These sources are likely to introduce artifacts greater than 2 °C into the temperature record.
Another cause of global warming hysteria is the infiltration of science by ideological zealots who place politics above truth. Earlier this month, the Obama administration issued a report that concluded global warming would have a number of deleterious effects on the US. In 1995, one of the lead authors of this report told me that we had to alter the historical temperature record by “getting rid” of the Medieval Warm Period.
The Obama report refers to – six times – the work of a climate scientist named Stephen H. Schneider. In 1989, Schneider told Discover magazine that “we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have.” Schneider concluded “each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.” Schneider’s position is not unusual. In 2007, Mike Hulme, the founding director of the Tyndall Center for Climate Change Research in Britain, told the Guardian newspaper that “scientists and politicians must trade truth for influence.”
While releasing a politicized report that prostitutes science to politics, the Obama administration simultaneously suppressed an internal EPA report that concluded there were “glaring inconsistencies” between the scientific data and the hypothesis that carbon dioxide emissions were changing the climate.
If we had an appreciation for history, we would not be fooled so easily. It has all happened before, albeit on a smaller scale in an age where people had more common sense. On May 19, 1912, the Washington Post posed these questions: “Is the climate of the world changing? Is it becoming warmer in the polar regions?” On November 2, 1922, the Associated Press reported that “the Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the waters too hot.” On February 25, 1923, the New York Times concluded that “the Arctic appears to be warming up.” On December 21, 1930, the Times noted that “Alpine glaciers are in full retreat.” A few months later the New York Times concluded that there was “a radical change in climatic conditions and hitherto unheard of warmth” in Greenland. About the only thing that has changed at the Times since 1930 is that no one working there today is literate enough to use the word “hitherto.”
After the warm weather of the 1930s gave way to a cooling trend beginning in 1940, the media began speculating on the imminent arrival of a new Ice Age. We have now come full circle, mired in a hopeless cycle of reincarnated ignorance. H. L. Mencken understood this process when he explained “the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”

The answer is simple: the sea level would not rise even if the polar ice-caps were melting – for the same reason that a glass of water doesn’t overflow when the ice within melts. That’s elementary science!

That only works for icebergs. Many if not all of the glaciers are above sea level, melting them would have an effect on the sea level.
Put a stack of ice cubes in a glass and put in 1/2″ of water. Come back later to find the level risen to the top of the glass.
That’s why this global warming thing has such traction, too many Americans today have been “educated” in government schools.

You are right saying that ice floating on water, when melted, will not raise the sea level. But Ice actually on the land that melt actually raise the sea level, which we haven’t seen yet.

If climate change is fake it should be easy to tell.
So i don’t get all the bullturd. If you are convinced it’s fake then sea levels won’t rise (cities will not be flooded). The bread basket will not be turned into a dustbowl because of an increase in temperature.
Just wait 5 years. simple. This is not 9/11. Debating CO2 levels and global warming is a complete waste of time.

Bilderberg is trying to get it in so they can foist their U.N. tax on everybody. Then they won’t have to depend on fickle governments for money. World government will be the ultimate ripoff! They will be so distant from the people that they can do whatever they want!

I wish the whole climate change argument was meaningless, as radman claims.
Unfortunately, it is very meaningful because if the commies and the meddlers get their way, we might be grateful that the worst that happens is that they destroy our economy. A far worse problem might occur if they start trying to actively “fix” what isn’t broken. In that case we might very well screw up our climate.
These people simply don’t understand the climate well enough to fiddle around with it. Our entire planetary ecology is governed by myriad complex feedback loops. Some of these cycles have periodicities over 5000 years, or longer.
We don’t even understand the shorter 11 and 22 (average) year Solar Cycles. For example, none of the current models predicted the recent lack of sunspots. In fact, the current cool spell goes against all the climate models currently being used by the scaremongers.
Yet these people want to start screwing around with this complex and poorly understood system, where we all live. That’s what scares me.

I had the opportunity to talk with Dr Jason Box ( Ohio State University) who was a contributor to the IPCC’s “climate change” report and a recipient of a Nobel Prize for his works – He belives global warming is real and man made ( no supprise there) But he also admits the projections are all built on computer models that have a “high probability” of being accurate. They don’t KNOW what will happen: They only have a theoretical model. He also says scientific theory must be debated among experts in the field. Where are the debates? There are plenty of experts that disagree this is man made to any significant degree, if at all. This is a very complex subject and far from understood to the level that we will can take the measures this ” Cap and Trade” bill will require. This is part of a political / social coup d’état.

In the l970’s ’80’s there was a call for an upcoming “ice age”, but the later 80 and 90’s and especially during the Gore years, the global warming threats started to come. IT is nothing but a con game to tax you more and more government control over your life. thankyou Art Bell for perpetuating this hoax.

I can name one issue that far outways the ridiculous propaganda we know as global warming. This issue is the world’s supply of fresh water. The way Asia and Europe are going fresh water should be a major concern for mankind. I mean our bodies are only made up of 65% water right? NO big deal at all! If I’m going to be taxed to hell for a cause I’ll choose fresh water… not to drive my car, heat my house, run my business, or to breathe. And I’ll be able to sleep at night knowing that I’m only getting 2 inches up the tail pipe instead of 15!

Maybe next we’ll tax the dolphins for breathing every time they come out of the water and share a human interaction… Maybe we’ll tax chickens for taking a s---. When does it end?

Its not just earth which is warming the whole solar system is warming check out the polar caps on mars for starters. Any one who has any sort of IQ knows this is tax on tax first carbon tax then fines and prison sentence for not switching off your lights or going over your max of 1 hour of electric or something stupid like this awaits us if we dont nip this in the bud.

Obama claimed that the average American would not bear the brunt of this historic tax-increase: he stated that instead ““It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”
Just compare this outrageous falsehood to Ronald Reagans’ famous quote:
“The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.
…Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.”
And after the way the rammed this through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it… and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, any foolhardy individuals who still believe Obama’s threadbare “bipartisanship” spiel ought to have their head examined.

Not so – The June Sea Ice Outlook forecasts for the Arctic sea ice September minimum extent have been released today by SEARCH. Most groups are picking a minimum close to last year’s 4.7m km2, but the melt season is starting with an unusually small amount of multi-year ice. The range of individual outlook values is from 4.2 to 5.0 million square kilometers. All estimates are well below the 1979–2007 September climatological mean value of 6.7 million square kilometers.
There is warming – natural or man made – we don’t give a s---, but the effects are certainly
being felt in SW Australia – and along predictions.
People can stick their heads in the sand if they want, but down here, people are making provisions for future long term effects as much as possible, regardless of what politicians are saying!

Let’s assume that Alex is right when he suggests chem-trails are made to increase global warming in order to make a carbon tax more acceptable. As the tax is implemented the chem-trails would be slowly reduced and the earth would continue with it’s natural current cooling period. The elite can say “look the carbon tax is working!”

This gives the government a thousand different ways to impose restrictions on your life style and a million different ways to tax the people to poverty. Its a big hit with the scientist too this enables them to get billions of dollars in government grants just for supporting a lie.Years ago the pitch was the big ice age coming, then the term global warming was introduced as the new war cry, this gave way to the present line of crap called climate change . Al Gore won a Nobel peace award for a documentary that was loaded with bogus information to sell his phony scam to the public not because he believes this is a genuine threat but because he stands to make huge amounts of money

This is bulls---. Of course there is global warning. You can say there is not, but that wont change the reality. And in reality there is. We can discuss what is the source of this global warning – is it due to huge emissions of CO, CO2 etc. gasses or due to planetary level changes (like magnetofield changes etc.).
But I mean it – we must change our way of thiniking. There is something going on wheter we like it or not. And we must find out what is it.

Although most scientists are convinced that global warming is very real, a few still harbor doubts. But a new report, based on an analysis of infrared long-wave radiation data from two different space missions, may change their minds. “These unique satellite spectrometer data collected 27 years apart show for the first time that real spectral differences have been observed, and that they can be attributed to changes in greenhouse gases over a long time period,” says John Harries, a professor at Imperial College in London and lead author of the study published today in Nature.
As the sun’s radiation hits the earth’s surface, it is reemitted as infrared radiation. This radiation is then partly trapped by the so-called greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)�as well as water vapor. Satellites can measure changes in the infrared radiation spectrum, allowing scientists to detect changes in the earth’s natural greenhouse effect and to deduce which greenhouse gas concentrations have changed.
The researchers looked at the infrared spectrum of long-wave radiation from a region over the Pacific Ocean, as well as from the entire globe. The data came from two different spacecraft�the NASA’s Nimbus 4 spacecraft, which surveyed the planet with an Infrared Interferometric Spectrometer (IRIS) between April 1970 and January 1971, and the Japanese ADEO satellite, which utilized the Interferometric Monitor of Greenhouse Gases (IMG) instrument, starting in 1996. To ensure that the data were reliable and comparable, the team looked only at readings from the same three-month period of the year (April to June) and adjusted them to eliminate the effects of cloud cover. The findings indicated long-term changes in atmospheric CH4, CO2, ozone (O3) and CFC 11 and 12 concentrations and, consequently, a significant increase in the earth’s greenhouse effect.

I’m sorry, but I’ve been pretty well convinced that AGW (anthropomorphic (man-made) global warming (sp?)) is fact for years. A simple article like this is a pretty good example of exactly why I believe such.
So, could someone debunk this one for me? I mean, it seems pretty solid.

Whether it’s real or not isn’t the main issue. The problem is we will be controlled and taxed in so many areas of our lives it’s ridiculous… and the whole”global warming” issue won’t even be solved. People will use the same amount of “green house gasses” only we’ll be taxed for them. I mean am I supposed to build a car myself or heat my house with wood to avoid taxes? And this bill that congress will pass will move “Carbon Credits” from one business to the other but the bottom line is the businesses will use the same amount of emissions. I know that I will not enjoy having a tracker box on my car, paying 40% extra on my utility bills, god knows what on business taxes, or be fined for going over my electricity and carbon credits… this is MADNESS!!
