Likewise, traditionally Russia, Scandinavia and the Baltic which have had a snow cover in October, are now bare except in Norway and the Atlantic coast of Sweden. Could this be a sign of Golf stream weakening? If that should happen, the whole of Europe would get cooler in the winter regardless of global warming. Jane, whatever those planes are doing, we don't know. Some might say its to warm the globe, some might say that it is to cool the globe. EITHER WAY, there are several things to understand here: 1) These people are not perfect. They are just PEOPLE, even though they have a lot of power etc. They cannot control what the Sun is doing. 2) Right now the Sun has almost no sun spots, if any.
