The Fed issuing money is an inflationary measure: wouldn't one naturally think that the price of gold should be rising? Something is wrong here fans, drastically wrong. If you own gold, don't sell it because the dropping price of gold is very likely just another feature of how the markets are being manipulated. When the price of gold starts rising again, as it will, watch out for the government to outlaw or otherwise restrict private ownership of gold again. Again...
