Silly Heads, there is no advertising like free advertising. Think of all the bandwidth those videos took up. That is not cheap. Viacom should be happy someone carried their footage without sending them a bill.

Yeah, this is so dumb. In fact, you tube has actually brought more attention to their properties like MTV, or sports or Viacom shows then regular television has. However, I guess there are no limits to greed.

I think that its about time that people realize that it is not okay to just petition govt., but to petition (and take action) against the corporations that support unjust policies.

They come with this now?…youtube has been around for ages, oohhh yea someone at viacom must have been bored, by the time that they have looked through the list, the list would have grown twice the size and then they would have to look at that one etc etc.
And what then give everybody a fine? lock them up? send then to bed without dinner?what? i like the way that BIG companies think they can throw they wait around, and they spend money and money to scare people off, but the answer to that is simple, let them prove that I was behind the computer and not someone else, otherwise i will not even take notice of them, i did not sign anything with them,i never met them etc etc, i don’t like being bullied by people i don’t know or even the ones i do know.

i live with this thought : ( you can change it to any situation )

What if everybody was taken to court BUT we didn’t show up? what then?
