Gori not badly damaged – UN aid convoy

A United Nations aid convoy, entering the Georgian town of Gori, says the buildings there do not appear to be badly damaged.

Earlier, Moscow denied reports Russia’s military assaulted the town.

They confirmed Russian troops were maintaining positions around Gori, but insisted this was only to prevent looting and arms smuggling.

The military also says it’s lifted a blockade of the town, allowing relief supplies to reach refugees.

   Talking of clever, Ed, how did you ever come up with likening me to a comic book character that I had never even heard of? Spend a lot of time reading comics, do you? What am I saying? Looking at the pictures, more like!

   Thanks for asking, KarmaCHEESE – the word “gazer” came to my mind while writing the post – but I wasn’t exacly sure what it meant – english not being my language and so on – so, I just googled it and there it was on top of the list. You seem to be famous, “dude”!

   Anyway – I never liked Marvel comics, but I know they were big over there before video games took over as the main tool for brainwashing kids – and not just in America, but all over the planet now.
