The United States should be planning for a possible second round of fiscal stimulus to further prop up the economy after the $787 billion rescue package launched in February, an adviser to President Barack Obama said.
“We should be planning on a contingency basis for a second round of stimulus,” Laura D’Andrea Tyson, a member of the panel advising President Barack Obama on tackling the economic crisis, said on Tuesday.

Addressing a seminar in Singapore, Tyson said she felt the first round of stimulus aimed to prop up the economy had been slightly smaller than she would have liked and that a possible second round should be directed at infrastructure investment.
“The stimulus is performing close to expectations but not in timing,” Tyson said, referring to the slow pace at which the first round of stimulus had been spent on the economy.

This is so simple to stimulate the economy you don’t give to the producers you give to the consumers. Give each American citizen 18 or older 20k and we will stimulate the economy by spending it.
Example if you gave a Restaurant money to buy more food to produce there is still not the customers to buy it, henceforth continued failure. Give the money to the customers.

I like that idea… but would spend the money of a good supply of food, ammo, and a inexpensive fully automatic machine gun… around 15K for just the gun… they could have given us all about 300 K a piece, we could have paid off our houses, aka bad debts gone, and that extra money could have went to pay off credit cards, or buy us some cool new toys… and things would have flourished, at least for a while, till everyone realized that America shipped all it’s jobs overseas. Then we’d be in the same mess, so to speak… but at least our house would be paid for.
Either way, were screwed till our Military, and our JOBS come back home.

Des Moines, Iowa, ‘Tea Party’ will be held July 4, 2009, 1-3pm on the west lawn of the Des Moines Capital building (that gold leafed dome building, can’t miss it). I attended the April 15th ‘Tea party’ and represented a small minority of disfranchised democrats, the GOP majority speakers did the typical feel good speeches about a dead man, aka the “Holy Reagan”, but there was an abundance of people walking around with their cardboard slogans, all feeling basically the same things I am. People across both party spectrums, all seeing the abject destruction of our republic and through our fluoride riddled minds, we all come to the realization that we must somehow question our central authority of the sanity of the course. Our impotence of effecting real significance, such as contacting our so called representation, has increased our disenchantment of the all is well phenomenon. The service lies repeated by our dependent news (TV, paper, radio) all echoing the scripted unrealities/stories of board room executives and powerful offshore oligarchs, has a mind programming effect on our docile and unwary populations.
The sole purpose of our governments is to regulate our section of the planet to promote life, liberty and justice in a functioning society. Our federal government is not fulfilling any of these three aspects. Life removed. Eugenics policies of aspartame, high fructose corn syrup, monosodium glutamate, fluoride, estrogen chemical bleed from certain plastics, segregation of health benefits via for-profit malfeasance, and the empty nutrition of genetically modified grains (corn, soybeans, and sugar beets) all contribute to an short lifespan. These highly organized businesses that benefit from producing poisons to make people eat more foods that contain fewer nutrition with more sugars and fats, produce populations that quickly gain weight to obese level which then contract type II diabetes. These poisons have a life shortening effect; some have bioaccumulation effects such as fluoride, some make you crave whatever foods they add it to, while some have zero calories but breaks down into slightly toxic compounds, such as aspartame. Our feminine side of humanity is experiencing an explosion in breast and uterine cancer rates due to the plastics leaching out estrogen like compounds, quickening the puberty ages, doubling of estrogen counts, and reducing testosterone effects in men.
Liberty removed. Obama administration has several gun restrictive legislation being considered to reduce the second amendment right to own and bear gun, such as “H.R. 45: Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009” and “H.R. 2401: No Fly, No Buy Act of 2009.” The domestic telephone spy program is a direct violation of the fourth amendment rights of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. The war on terrorism is more about a war on ‘we the people’ than hunting down foreign nationals.
Justice removed. Moderation of the justice department began during Bush Jr. Administration and is retained in the Obama’s administration; I am talking about the appointment of politically loyal justices, aka yes men to the party. I have no idea if Obama is using Bush’s tactic of screening potential justice department hires by using questionnaire to determine political favoritism, loyalty oaths, and contractual restraints. Obama’s political and cabinet appointments contain high numbers of banker lobbyists, another campaign promise broken, by the great change administration. Our government fails all three prime aspects of functional governance, all while our economy deflates from fraudulent banking and wars without end.
I voted for Obama. I believed that Obama would change our government away from the Bush Jr. Doctrines. I was wrong. So far, half a year latter, President Obama is nearly a 100% mirror image of Bush Jr. and his policies of active engagement on the war of terror, pillaging the treasury to maintain the military industrial complex and war profiteers, to the outright funding of fraudsters with the bank to big to fail and subsequent banker bailouts, rendition, protective preventive indefinite detention without habeas corpus rights, domestic telephone spy program, Cybersecurity act to moderate the free speech internet, cap and trade to increase the likelihood of hyperinflation with a global tax to offshore bankers, to handing the Federal Reserve Bank unlimited power to involve itself with every American business, to the government owning all water rights in the country over property rights of individuals and states, to the slaughter of millions of innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan whose only wish is to live free without the American soldiers bombing and killing them. This list goes on and on. Obama=Bush Jr., there is no real difference between the two.

We have seen many positive signs on the TV news reported that the economy is leveling off soon. So my conclusion is one more trillion $$ push. Come on guys and have some skin in the game. Stimulus…isn’t that supposed to “Stimulate” the economy??? You wanna stimulate the economy, cut all of this B.S. spending, balance the budjet, lower taxes, and get out of the way, because even with the government working for the last two decades with all of its might to stiffle this economy, United State’s small businessmen have kept this whole thing afloat, and they would continue too keep it afloat…assuming they don’t all get thrown in jail!
