Today started out with sleet on my car when I looked out the window. Then it snowed, nice big fluffy snowflakes too. The rest of the day it drizzled rain. The Dow settled at 7,555.63 and the S & P ended at 788.42. Gold is near a thousand an ounce and oil is below $35 a barrel. Are you going to be out in the streets rioting? When? Are the banks going to close their doors and all investments lost that aren’t hidden in gold or under the mattress?

Fear overrides our thinking. Think of rafting toward Niagra Falls. The current would take one over the edge to a certain death. Why focus on the descent? The future is not certain except in the minds of men. Health works the same way. The body will follow the mind.

Imagine your new next door neighbors as a young couple who have been waiting to purchase a home of their own and now they can. Interest rates are super low and there are first time buyer programs out there plus the very low price that they paid. How about the new business just down the street that opened and everybody’s eating there now. We are Americans.

We have always persevered. That’s our nature. We are not going to let somebody tell us that we are going down the tubes, killing each other in the streets. We are smarter than that. I know that we are and we’re in this together. I will have no other choice but to bet my life on it. I know that someone else feels the same way. I’d like to hear it.

Good point, divide and create differences so these same people are distracted and don’t look toward the real problems (i.e. the Bilderberg friends group)

There are no republicans or democrats, no right or left, no communists or democratically elected officials, there are simply have’s and have not’s.

I believe this is totally possible. People are fed up with all the bailouts for rich people. Even Madoff is allowed to stay in his $7 million luxury apartment under house arrest. What is up with that? What a joke!
