Greece Violence Targets Police

A policeman has been shot in a gun and grenade attack in central Athens carried out by at least two gunmen.
The officer was part of a riot police unit that was guarding the Culture Ministry when the assault took place.
It came nearly two weeks after an attack on a police bus – claimed by a new leftist group which said it was protesting against the police shooting of a teenager in Athens last month.

The boy’s death sparked the worst rioting in Greece for decades.
In the latest attack, about 30 shots were fired from at least two weapons, including a semi-automatic AK-47 assault rifle and a handgun, a police official said.

The police that are good have a duty to separate themselves from the criminal factions of their profession. The police who mindlessly carry out orders need to recognize the danger in letting someone else do their thinking for them. Complicity in criminal behavior is a crime. Those who shoot at even the corrupt police are guilty of manslaughter unless they are being fired upon. Violence will not solve what violence has given birth to.

I disagree. I think blasting every police clown in sight is a damn good idea, and I applaud the Greeks. They’ve organized in a way that we’ve been unable to, so far. For that, they are YEARS ahead of us in fighting and staving off the NWO and this insane globalization agenda. Keep up the good work, guys.

The Greeks are definitely more informed than U.S citizens and at the very least they are doing what you guys in America should be doing.I have friends and relatives there and they know that behind the curtain, the CIA is orchestrating a lot of the violence taking place in Greece.They are pissed off that Greece signed the gas deal with Russia and not with the US companies.Unfortunately your government has enslaved most of it s people through the federal reserve,has taken away your rights as citizens with the patriot act,and has bankrupted your country with this planned financial meltdown and it s a shame that the people are just sitting back are doing nothing to stop the elitists from carrying out their NWO agenda.

Subversion of popular movements by the state is nothing new, but this wasn’t a bomb being placed on a school bus, i feel it was genuine. Contrary to the US, Greece has a very strong autonomist/anti-authoritarian and anarchist movement. Information is nothing if it doesn’t lead to some form of action. I believe that is why we are seeing militant action from the part of students and youth.
The shots were allegedly from the university, which is being squatted right now, so I doubt the squatters would let people they didn’t trust into their zones with AKs
