The number of high-level officials and experts warning that the economic crisis could lead to revolt and revolution world-wide – even in the U.S. – is growing every day:
- The U.S. Army War College in November warned in a monograph [click on Policypointers’ pdf link to see the report] titled “Known Unknowns: Unconventional ‘Strategic Shocks’ in Defense Strategy Development” of crash-induced unrest:
The military must be prepared, the document warned, for a “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States,” which could be provoked by “unforeseen economic collapse,” “purposeful domestic resistance,” “pervasive public health emergencies” or “loss of functioning political and legal order.” The “widespread civil violence,” the document said, “would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.”
“An American government and defense establishment lulled into complacency by a long-secure domestic order would be forced to rapidly divest some or most external security commitments in order to address rapidly expanding human insecurity at home,” it went on.
“Under the most extreme circumstances, this might include use of military force against hostile groups inside the United States. Further, DoD [the Department of Defense] would be, by necessity, an essential enabling hub for the continuity of political authority in a multi-state or nationwide civil conflict or disturbance,” the document read.
- Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair said:
“The global economic crisis … already looms as the most serious one in decades, if not in centuries … Economic crises increase the risk of regime-threatening instability if they are prolonged for a one- or two-year period,” said Blair. “And instability can loosen the fragile hold that many developing countries have on law and order, which can spill out in dangerous ways into the international community.”***
“Statistical modeling shows that economic crises increase the risk of regime-threatening instability if they persist over a one-to-two-year period.”***
“The crisis has been ongoing for over a year, and economists are divided over whether and when we could hit bottom. Some even fear that the recession could further deepen and reach the level of the Great Depression. Of course, all of us recall the dramatic political consequences wrought by the economic turmoil of the 1920s and 1930s in Europe, the instability, and high levels of violent extremism.”
Blair made it clear that – while unrest was currently only happening in Europe – he was worried this could happen within the United States.

Frankly i’m not sure what to do. Some sort of civil disorder will eventually be necessary, but if one succumbs to the reaction of running out into the streets creating dissorder and violence today, the NWO will have pinpointed the most passionate resistance and these persons will be the few. That way they can eliminate and alienate these persons from the general population and the sheep can easily be lead back into the hem.
To be able to counterwork the NWO agenda one must work as they are, in the shadows, preparing until the numbers grown and the general populas are becoming more aware of the issues.
As the situation is today, if one starts to stop using “their” currency, dont show up for work, taking to the streets smashing windows and burning cars and other forms of civil disobedience you will easily be discarted as “odds” and “conspiracists” (and today even “terrorists”) by the rest of the population and they will willingly turn to their gov. to restore the “order out of chaos”.

I highly doubt that a full fledged revolt, would make the police and military stand down, and drop their guard over those in the Government.
I know there are good men and women in both the Military, and the Police departments, that being said, how many good patriots will have to die by the hands of their brothers, before everyone just turns on everyone with riot gear, and an M16 in order to get to those in Power.

Every time there’s an unpleasant economic announcement, or one is anticipated, I see an increased ‘presence’ in the local police in this undisclosed upper midwest city. More city cops buzzing about, more in the outskirts than usual. I was ‘eyed’ by a cop who drove by where I was parked in a parking lot, just sitting there enjoying a soda and listening to the radio. At the second pass in front of me, with his face looking squarely at me, I got the message…’Move along’. So I did.

John Titor was a great guy… I had a chance to speak with him, long long ago on a chat room, and he told me that we wouldn’t really have to worry about Guns… there would be PLENTY of them… that what we would need would be a good peddle powered bike, like a mountain bike, a supply of food, water and other essentials.

The difference between now and the Great Depression is the American citizen has less faith and respect for the politicians running are country, an rightfully so. There is a very real chance of some sort disturbances. Some people think this is a ploy for an NWO take-over. From the coverage the MSM has given to the riots so far this year, it is apparent that those who our in control are afraid of it happening here. The most likely cause, is because compared to other countries, the citizens of the United States of America are heavily armed in great numbers. Is there a chance of having a race war within a civil war? That is a legitimate question but which-ever side experiences it will lose!!! At this time it is obvious that the government of the USA will have to cast the first stone, for it to really be an effective “revolution”. That is why I have been saying that we need to take our country back in 2010. If the politicians are smart enough (and right now I am not sure that they are) they will not do anything to get themselves in a direct conflict with any major group in this country (like try to repeal the 2nd Amendment). They will on the other hand try to skate on the fringes to remove any rights that will assist the people in leading a revolution. The best thing to counter their plans, is to organize, and influence your local government. Build up support in the local government, that the Federal government needs to be put in check, and if it refuses, States should look into secession. The only things the Elites really care about are money (it whatever form) and power. If you threaten that, some will start to rethink what they are doing.

For the past 6 years the government has been getting prepared for civil unrest. That is why FEMA has been reorganized for military continuity under the Pentagon. Gangs throughout the US have been under a government study for years concluding the need for military action when deemed neccessary. Politicians have discussed ways to approach gang crimminals of inner cities along with ways to remove guns from the streets runned by gangs. What one must understand is that Revolution requires one very important component. RESOLVE. There are nowhere near enough police to stop 300+ million angry citizens. As Mike Rivero has correctly pointed out, they may be able to attempt to “make an example” out of SOME of us, but they will never be able to arrest EVERYONE. The government will fall under its own crushing debt—-right now, it is pretty much a waiting game. Citizens must protect themselves with the 10 step process outlined in an earlier post by captain planet. Protest that is too open will indeed be met with great repression, but conscientious planning for survival on the part of individuals will be much harder for the Establishment to stop. Although there may come a time when violent revolution may be unavoidable (a la JFK), individuals and families should be prepared for long-term survival anyway.

Violent protest of the starting a demo and chucking stuff does not work. I trained in riot control. Most riot teams are heavily restrained in their responses compared to what they can and will do if there really was a threat to government power. If you are serious, cells are the only way to go. Study the IRA, Baeder Meinhoff etc. Personally, I don’t think it would work because it would just play back into the hands of the politicians. The best thing to do is to organise peacefully and constructively. Imagine how much could be achieved if all those shiftless types actually got up in the morning, put on a suit and read a book and tried to improve themselves and stopped being baby fathers.

Actually, individual cells, would work… and use these peaceful protest as cover.
The people rioting, will cause masses of police to gather, in full riot gear… thus leaving holes in security.
A smart team of 4 or 5 people, could then without much ado, slip into a facility… and carry out selective *cleaning* missions of political figures, etc.
They could even buy up some Riot Gear, or make some fake Riot Gear, and blend in to the riots, and move to a position to *protect* an official, and then do what they will.

There is a way to start peacefully changing our government, support state sovereignty resolutions, then force your state government to apply those resolutions. If your state doesn’t yet have a resolution, then email, call, or go to their offices and demand they draft one immediately. Put control of the federal government back in the hands of the states. There is a war coming but it will be between the state and federal governments ( I said it would start peacefully not that it would end that way).

Right now our FBI is investigation over 500 cases of corporate fraud and some of them are very very big.
I writing this under an unknown handle here because I don’t want you people smearing my name because I want to tell the truth as I see it, and I plan on going into politics at a local level to try and make a difference myself and quite frankly I don’t want my association here to ruin my chances. face it as long as you guys talk like your talking you will never get in any position to change anything. And that truth is, yes there are a lot of bad apples in this basket, but some of the good apples are actually doing something about it now. Perhaps the Mayans are closer than we think. Roughly 3.5 more years until galactic awareness does not seem unreasonable at the rate we are moving now. For this to be in line with scripture would mean we would need to progress to AT LEAST the destruction of all individual freedoms in the name of “security of the collective” within the same amount of time. It uses English words with different meanings, for example… ‘Do you understand’ really means Do you submit to the authority of the court’, stand in the ‘dock’ and you are no longer heard. Did anyone watch Glenn Beck’s show today? He’s really ramping up the fear element. He spoke about how he warned about Bin Laden tens years ago. He claims to have said at the time that there would be dead bodies and buildings in the streets if we didn’t act. He also constructed potential future scenarios where a global depression prevents the US from being the global policeman (as if we even should be). Beck wants us involved militarily all over the world. And they talked about Israel as well and how they need to be on the attack relentlessly. Beck is a total and compete Zionist sellout. He’s taking advantage of these very real scenarios of civil unrest and he’s using it for his own deranged purposes of social engineering. He keeps talking about how bad bigger government is under Obama and yet he’s desperately concerned that big brother USA might not have the finances to enforce it’s imperialist agenda in years to come. The Alex Jones Show is the “Revelation of the Method”. Why do you think that Alex hasn’t been killed?? They are putting it in your face to desensitize you. That is also the reason why Alex comes off as a “fear monger”. Alex is leading us into the NWO.
Also, don’t you find it a little hard to believe that Alex is 35 years old? He looks at least 5 years older than that.

Thanks for your post. You have accurately captured the growing chorus of officials concerned about the rising likelihood of a crime wave, or worse.
The research shows that since 1954, crime waves have followed every sharp economic crises generally within one year. If we use the seminal cliff drop of 9/15/08 and the Lehman Brothers collapse, then we are on track for a miserable season ahead as more and more individuals come to the recognition that there is more to be concerned with than just capital preservation and lost jobs; there is an aftermath and unintended consequence of people left vulnerable to increasing crime opportunity. This comes at a difficult time when budgets for law enforcement are contracting while needs are expanding.
If we can find some sage advice from the past, perhaps it is this — Hans von Hentig said this in 1947, “Human beings are not made to resist lightning bolts,” “we must acknowledge similar configurations of our cultural life when extreme want, extreme provocation, or extreme frustration wrings an unlawful act from an otherwise law-abiding individual. Most of our criminals are milieu-made. They are law-abiding while the sun shines, while economic life goes on undisturbed, and their ability of adjustment is not taxed excessively. When social storms are brewing, depressions set in, prices tumble, and the army of unemployed swells, the average law-abiding individual yields to extreme pressure and becomes a law-breaker.”
We need a new crime control strategy that focuses on the reality that our social control systems are designed for peace time, and not for the crises and tsunami wave of crime and disorder about to hit us.
