MOBILE, Alabama — When you talk about guns that are in high demand, it’s any military grade weapon that used to be the assault weapons ban of the 90’s. I went to Lucky’s Pawn in Robertsdale, Goldmine Pawn in Daphne and Encore Outdoors–all report a spike in gun sales–as small as 25% to as much as 300%.
“I have a difficult time keeping these firearms available, once they come out they’re quickly sold,” says the owner of Lucky’s Pawn Shop Mark Flynn. Right now law abiding citizens can get guns like these pretty easily but the worry is if they turn their backs those guns and 2nd Amendment rights will go away.
