Comment: This news story is all over western media. Isn’t it fascinating that the establishment press will only entertain the notion of false flag terror when it benefits a target of NATO-backed aggression? The media is all over this, and there’s a good chance that the Assad regime was behind the attack, but when anyone dares suggest that western governments may also be carrying out false flags, they are instantly labeled paranoid conspiracy theorists.
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri said on Friday that the twin suicide bombings that targeted security service buildings in Damascus earlier in the day were “engineered” by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
“This is really confusing…and I believe that the blast was engineered by the Syrian regime, just like the Syrian National Council declared,” the Future Movement leader said via the social networking website Twitter.
Commenting on the Syrian Foreign Ministry’s statement that Beirut “warned Damascus that members of Al-Qaeda [infiltrated Syria] two days ago from Lebanon,” Hariri said that “this is fabricated by the Syrian ministry and some of its tools in Lebanon.”
“There are some [parties] in the Lebanese government that are working to drag Lebanon into the path of terror so they can cover up the crimes of the Syrian regime.”
