Vice President Dick Cheney has indicated in no uncertain terms
that he believes the laws of the United States do not apply
to him. According to Capitol Hill Blue, Cheney - in direct violation
of a Presidential executive order - has refused to turn over
documents to the National Archives.

Majlis speaker says the nation is ready to defend its independence
and territorial sovereignty against any military attack. "The
prospect of a war against Iran is very weak but it is possible
that the US policy makers take such an unwise decision,"
