Geithner can fly a kite. The federal government needs more money the way a termite infested house needs another termite. Frank Chodorov knew his business in 1954 when he titled his magnum opus The Income Tax: Root of All Evil. If now the federal government allegedly needs more money after amassing huge net debt why did the Andrew Jackson administration need so much less in 1835 when the federal debt was not only fully paid but for the sole time in American history there were absolute net federal treasury reserves? the answer is the gold specie standard which prevents inflation & checks politicians’ ability to incur public debt. The present administration is full of vain tyrants such as Geithner who evidently truly think productive people exist to be taxed, a vile fixation we literally can no longer afford. Secure property rights are among our civil rights & we do not live to be taxed.

Think about this – the amount of benefit to the GDP of printing $1 by the Fed has dropped linearly from $1 or more in the 60s to less than 6 cents now. Very soon there will be a negative effect to the GDP from printing more dollars. Scum like Geithner and Bernanke know this, as do bigwigs on Wall Street. The reason for this mathematical certainty is the increasing amount of debt servicing that needs to be taken care of. They will try to increase taxes to hold out a bit more, but it just won’t work, the monetary system is a Ponzi scheme, where money is printed which interest is owed, but where is the additional money coming from to pay that interest?
