Hit The Hate Bill Where It Hurts

Today or tomorrow, Democrats could pass the federal hate bill, S. 909. That is, unless you call repeatedly all day. Your freedom and, eventually, your life depend on it.

Sen. McCain’s explosive rebuke of Senate hate bill leadership yesterday brought into high profile their Stalinist tactics and their vulnerabilities. Because of the hate bill’s inability to withstand normal legislative scrutiny, Democrats have:

1. Omitted adequate Senate Judiciary hearings.
2. Omitted any mark-up session (usually providing opponents in Judiciary with a second opportunity to debate a bill and offer amendments).
3. Omitted a Rules Committee session, providing a third opportunity for opposition to object.
4. Attached a discriminatory, unrelated, homosexual-protecting bill to the soldier-protecting arms bill.

Here, I believe, is the best message to leave today, particularly with Senate Democrats:

“I protest Democrats’ underhanded methods to pass the hate bill. They’ve skipped adequate hearings and mark-up. The hate bill discriminates against the majority of Americans. It does not protect soldiers, and it should not be added to the military spending bill!”

Amazing how my reps in the house and the senate have yet to respond to any of my emails. I’ve been going through the downsizeDC.org site and picking out a couple of campaigns a week to send off. As of yet, no reply on any. Naturally enough, I always expand on the pre-fab comments. I’m sure none here are surprised at that one! lol

If “hate bill”-obsessed Congress can’t protect Christians from “gays” as much as it wants to protect “gays” from Christians, will Congress be surprised if it can’t protect itself from most everyone? It’s little wonder that liberals want to make America gun-less! If “hate bills” are forced on captive Americans, they’ll still find ways to sneakily continue to “plant” Biblical messages everywhere. By doing so they’ll hasten God’s judgment on their oppressors as revealed in Proverbs 19:1. (See a related item titled “David Letterman’s Hate, Etc.” on web engines.) Since Congress can’t seem to legislate “morality,” it’s making up for it by legislating “immorality”!

The Hate Crimes Bill is needed to help reduce TERRORISM directed to minority groups to terrorize them into submission. To protest this is unchristian.

What really gets me is what crime is NOT a hates crime bill? We could go down a list of various crimes and discuss the hate behind each one. It does not matter what group you are from. All classes of people are protected equally with the present laws. Just because criminals (disturbed people anyways) traps a victim with words (like in this Matthew Shepherd case), does not make it a targeted crime although it may make the crime worse, but a crime is a crime.

Don’t be surprised if Mexican groups start requesting a crimes bill. Don’t be surprised if women’s or men’s groups request a crimes bill to protect them. This list can just go on and on. This is ridiculous. When does something just need to stop? Our country, in theory, should already be protecting its citizens. That is what the Constitution and Bill of Rights was for. If people have twisted or mis-interpreted our laws, shame on them!

Quit (those seeking this law) being petty and threatening about our freedom of speech. For all the vulgarity spewed at those who lovingly (not the extremists) say no to lifestyles or other beliefs does not make it a hate crime, although maybe this law IF (God forbid) does become law, can it be used in reverse?

This is really quite repulsive overall, and hopefully Michigan Senators will start listening to the people. Vote NO on S.909.
