Homeland Security Issues Alert On Mandatory Quarantine Procedures
BATF and FBI to forcibly detain Americans despite only 7 confirmed swine flu deaths in Mexico

The Department of Homeland Security has sent out an alert to health care providers outlining how BATF, FBI, and U.S. Marshals will be called upon to impose mandatory quarantines in the event of a widespread swine flu outbreak in the U.S.
According to the report, “DHS Assistant Secretary Bridger McGaw circulated the swine flu memo, which was obtained by CBSNews.com, on Monday night. It says: “The Department of Justice has established legal federal authorities pertaining to the implementation of a quarantine and enforcement. Under approval from HHS, the Surgeon General has the authority to issue quarantines.”
The memo states, “U.S. Customs and Coast Guard Officers assist in the enforcement of quarantine orders. Other DOJ law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Marshals, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives may also enforce quarantines. Military personnel are not authorized to engage in enforcement.”
However, a separate Defense Department planning document on dealing with pandemics states that the Pentagon will use the forces at its disposal to assist in “quarantining groups of people in order to minimize the spread of disease during an influenza pandemic” and aid in “efforts to restore and maintain order.”
As we reported yesterday, so-called “involuntary isolation” is already being enforced in certain areas of the United States. The state’s health director in North Carolina, Dr. Jeffrey Engel, said that authorities were already involuntarily isolating patients who may have the swine flu virus. He refused to divulge the location of where the victims were being quarantined.
News reports such as this one from MSNBC are prevaricating around the contention that quarantines are a normal event that Americans should be comfortable with. In reality, there has only been one case of “involuntary quarantine” in the U.S. in the last 45 years.
“In 2007, Andrew Speaker, an Atlanta lawyer, was quarantined inside a hospital in Denver on suspicion of having extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis. It turned out that the CDC was incorrect and Speaker had a milder form of the disease,” states the CBS report.
The MSNBC report also falsely claims that quarantines will solely be handled on a state/local level, when in reality, Bush’s executive order 13375 outlines a federal response, and the DHS memo lists numerous federal authorities that will have powers of quarantine.
In addition, the Bush administration’s National Strategy For Pandemic Influenza, released in November 2005, states that the federal government will impose “quarantines” and “limitations on gatherings”.
With Time Magazine busy preparing Americans to accept enforced mass vaccination programs and telling them to “trust” the government and “forgive” them when the vaccines cause death and injuries, the prospect of mandatory quarantines will likely be the precursor for any such nationwide vaccination program. The vaccine to supposedly combat swine flu is being manufactured by Baxter International, who were caught red-handed last month attempting to release bird flu vaccines which were contaminated with the deadly avian flu virus itself.
Swine flu has caused the death of one toddler in the U.S. and in fact only seven of the supposed 159 fatalities in Mexico have been confirmed as swine flu – meaning the other 152 could have been due to any number of infectious diseases that routinely kill Mexicans in the thousands on a yearly basis.
The comparative threat of swine flu does not correlate with the feverish reaction of authorities, who in the initial stages of the outbreak refused to take any measures to contain it, such as closing the border with Mexico, but after the virus had already begun to spread, they were quick to prepare draconian control measures while hyping the inevitability of a pandemic.
Meanwhile, the hysteria whipped up by the media has spread faster than the actual virus itself.

I’d have to agree with the above comments, there’s going to be healthcare fatalities if they intend to impose martial law like restrictions. They seem intent upon this spreading like the plague, but I’m unsure how they expect that people aren’t going to fight back.
There must be a cure available to protect the elite or else they would be isolating themselves.

In Australia, officials were testing more than 100 people with flu symptoms for possible swine flu. The new virus has been ruled out in at least 10 cases.
Health Minister Nicola Roxon said the government had stepped up the powers health authorities have to try to contain contagious diseases, as a precaution.
The new powers ranged from “using disinfectants on planes or at ports through to the far more extreme … making sure that people are isolated and perhaps detained if they don’t cooperate and are showing symptoms of this disease,” Roxon told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio on Wednesday.

Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Jeanette Young has told reporters this morning the remaining 10 cases include two people tested at Brisbane International Airport this morning following a flight from Mexico via Los Angeles.
No cases have yet been confirmed.
Five passengers were escorted from the Qantas jet after showing flu-like symptoms. Two were tested at screening station set up at the airport by Queensland Health.
New biosecurity procedures for the screening of airline passengers travelling to Australia from the Americas came into effect at midnight.

Well… I was just reading on the H1N1 Spanish Flu of 1918 on the CDC site and it states that the 1918 pandemic had one wave in March, which was very similar to what we’re experiencing now. The second wave came in the fall and killed millions. The third winter wave was again, more moderate – like wave 1.
The similarities are eery.
They mention that those infected in the 1st wave may have been “vaccinated” from the 2nd wave as a result.

In the 1930’s, and later, here in nyc quarentine was frequently used: I remember as a kid in an apartment building not being able to play with my little friends when those big signs went up on their locked doors. For the last few years since Monsanto and Baxter corporation has taken over the food production of the world, through pharma crops and gmo foods, I believe the food is making us sick.. More people died from car accidents, or malnutrition yesterday than swine flu. I’m more curious where this whole thing started. Yea, the media says Mexico, but why has our administration said nothing about securing our borders? Was this thing created in a lab, or is it a natural mutation of another flu strain? I have had flu like symptoms for since last thursday and I quarantined myself without anyone having to force me.
That is what a responsible adult will do to help prevent the spread of disease which has known to have caused deaths in some people. If I have to go to the hospital, I will take a bath first and then glove and mask up and ask the paramedics to bring a containment vehicle to transport me so that I don’t give this to someone else.
I fully support the quarantine measures and actually think the government dropped the ball one. Had it been my choice I would have closed the border and grounded air travel to and from this nation on Friday.
As harsh as this sounds, it would have been even worse if this illness had a kill rate of even 25%.
Start thinking with some common sense people, and quit with your class and race grumbling.

Unsurprisingly, poorer countries are least prepared, but even in richer regions there are serious gaps: a survey in 2007 of 30 European nations found that, on average, countries had in place only half of the measures expected by the WHO. The biggest gap was in preparedness to keep society functioning beyond its health system, to ensure continued provision of electricity, transport, banking, food and policing.
“Multisectoral planning is the vital thing,” says co-author of the survey, Sandra Mounier-Jack of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

If you go to a hospital when not feeling well, you will be carted off to isolation wards ( who know where ) to be separated from the population.. My suggestion is stay home, eat garlic and oregeno oil and plenty of fluids and get an antivial med to keep on hand in the house. don’t go to the hospital where they can get their hands on you… be smart if not smarter than these killers of freedom.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA—Late on the afternoon of 16 April, 5 days before the public first learned about the current outbreak of swine flu, Michele Ginsberg received word from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that a 10-year-old boy in San Diego County had tested positive for the rare infection. “I thought this could be the big one, honestly,” says Ginsberg, chief of community epidemiology for the San Diego County Health & Human Services Agency. By “big one,” Ginsberg meant the long-anticipated arrival of a new strain of influenza that humans had not seen before and could completely overwhelm the immune system, vaccinated or not.
Ginsberg says the first two cases that surfaced easily could have been missed, but novel research projects under way in the San Diego area, both connected to the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) here, determined that something unusual was afoot. NHRC has developed sophisticated tests for influenza that can sort out whether the virus is strain A or B and then the specific subtype based on two proteins, hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, on the viral surface. “In the usual setting, they would have done a rapid test and found that they were both positive for influenza A, and that’s as far as it would have gone,” says Ginsberg. But the new tests couldn’t identify the specific subtype, so the Navy forwarded the samples to CDC.
NHRC has received little attention for its critical role in uncovering the U.S. outbreak with what’s known as an H1N1 influenza A virus, so ScienceInsider asked for a detailed explanation of its influenza program and how these two cases came its way.

Q: When did the NHRC increase its surveillance capabilities for influenza?
Our expansion was largely a result of an initiative by the Department of Defense’s (DOD’s) Global Emerging Infectious System to intensify pandemic surveillance as a result of the avian influenza (H5N1) crisis. NHRC augmented existing febrile respiratory illness surveillance programs in military recruit trainees and ship-board populations and expanded into dependent populations in San Diego. Also, in a collaborative effort with the CDC, we developed surveillance on the Southern California-Mexico border, which was enhanced this year to deepen surveillance and augment diagnostic training of our Mexican collaborators via funding from the Department of State’s Biosecurity Engagement Program.
Q. How did these swine flu cases end up at NHRC?
The first case, a 10-year-old DOD dependent, was identified in a trial to evaluate a novel influenza diagnostic. On 1 April, a swab sample from the patient was tested on the diagnostic platform. The result suggested an influenza A but subtype negative virus. Our screening questionnaire deemed the patient at low-risk for an avian influenza infection. Per the study protocol, a second specimen was sent to a third-party lab in Wisconsin. This laboratory, along with the state laboratory, confirmed the influenza A/un-typed finding. The specimen and an isolated virus were then sent to the CDC for confirmation. The CDC determined the virus was an influenza A/swine/H1N1.
The second case, a 9-year-old female from Brawley, California, was sampled in the collaborative study with the CDC’s Border Infectious Disease Surveillance Project. What was thought to be a routine specimen was sent to our laboratory the first week in April. Our initial testing demonstrated an influenza A/untyped virus. Further testing on the Ibis T5000 platform, which infers H and N types from multiple genomic signatures, suggested an influenza A/swine/H1 virus. [Although most tests rely on known DNA sequence or antibodies to identify influenza isolates, the Ibis T5000 has a mass spectrometer and can identify unknown subtypes.] This was right about the time we received word from CDC about the first case. At that point we knew we were onto something significant. The CDC subsequently confirmed an influenza A/swine/H1N1 virus.

Maybe all of the church-goers could exercise their “teachings” and make copious prayers of healing to everyone. Oh wait! That would be considered ’sorcery’ by today’s churches! My bad.
It’s funny how this all happens just a few weeks after all of the aerial-spraying across the country! Maybe we ought to refer to the CFR’s tacit approval of all of these “geo-engineering” projects that involve dumping all of these chemicals on our heads and calling it all “Good for the environment”. This doesn’t exclude the fact that this government and all of its complicit helpers have been caught red-handed using ‘biological simulants’ on our population(s) for years!
All have further on this issue is that “flu” seems to be their weapon of choice!

Of course they are planing to be able to have what ever Powers they need to be able to round everyone up under the guise of flu quarantine.
Thats why they made this version of contagious but yet not very deadly flu.
This pig/human/bird flu was manufactured specifically by Wadsworth center in there Albany NY lab. here is all sorts of collaborating evidence to back this up. Wadsworth center is the very place that invented reverse DNA sequencing and reverse sequenced the 1918 n1h1 virus and have published papers on a lot of there work. They are the only lab fully equipped to be able to make new strains of viruses and are part of the CDC and the NY dept of health.
they also are in charge of viral surveillance.
NO one seems to even want to check out the info and see for them selves that Wadsworth’s lab IS what it is and that they do what they claim to do witch is work with the flu genome project and play with making new types of flus. I challenge any one including Alex Jones him self to refute my claim that Wadsworth’s center is involved in high level influenza research and ARE the very lab one would have to at-least collaborate with if they wanted to create a new form of influenza.
