After I saw the side effects of the vitamin K shot with our first baby and how the hospital lied to us saying that our baby turning red was normal and it was nothing to worry about. Yea, it was normal because every baby at that time was forced to get it. I was armed with knowing my rights the with our second baby. When we said no to the eye salve, Vitamin K shot and HepB, they threw us two curve balls. They said my wife needed to have a IV drip of a strong antibiotic (while she was in labor) every 4 hours due to a so called inflection she had (which was a total lie) and at the last minute the nurse comes in before my wife was release from the hospital and said that she needed a Dtap shot. We had to say no to three levels of nurses (from a junior to a senior nurse) and the doctor on duty. Having a baby is should be a wonderful experience, I felt like both times it was a battle for my wife and new babies life the entire stay at the hospital. All they want to do is jab, jab and jab so more. Know your legal rights as a parent and as a patient. If the hospitals didn't make any money on this travesty, I doubt they'd be "offering" it to anyone. so, let's do a test case: deny hospitals the right to charge for the "vaccine", AND make them lose the right to increase ANY prices until the current crop of newborn babies reach age 20. Then, if no side effects can be found from the T-dap, allow the hospitals to raise prices. Volunteers, anyone ?
