In anti-US rally, Israelis term Obama ‘racist’

Israeli far right factions have staged a rally in Jerusalem against US President Barack Obama amid growing signs of dissension between the two allies.
Nearly 1,500 people held a demonstration at a Jerusalem (al-Quds) square on Monday evening to protest the policy adopted by the Obama administration in dealing with Israel, the Israeli Channel 7 reported Tuesday.
The event was organized by several right-wing groups including the institution representing West Bank Jewish settlers as well as ultranationalist organizations and the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities.

The anti-Obama rally was supported by the right-wing parties including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, Knesset (Israeli parliament) Members, rabbis and other public officials.
Addressing US President Barack Obama directly, former Knesset member Rabbi Eliezer Waldman said, “You are a racist! How dare you tell Jews that they can’t live in this place or in that location? We’re finished with such periods in our history!”
The demonstrators also chanted slogans like “Yes to Israeli independence, no to American dictates!”

‘Abusive Soldiers’ were PA Teens
A group of young IDF soldiers who staged a raid near Bethlehem and invaded homes turned out to be not Israeli soldiers at all, but rather, a group of Palestinian Authority Arab teenagers. It is unclear why the teens were pretending to be soldiers, and whether their motives were criminal or political.
The incident took place on Friday night in the village of Marah Rabah, according to the Bethlehem-based Maan news agency. The five young “soldiers” managed to put a street under curfew and break into multiple homes before they were discovered.
When villagers realized that the “soldiers” were actually local teens, they surrounded the gang and called in PA security forces. PA troops arrested the five, ages 15 to 17, and took them in for questioning.
While PA forces have not yet determined what the group was attempting to do, one officer told Israeli media that the teens are suspected of planning to steal property. They planned to rob houses after confining their inhabitants to a side room, he explained.
Local PA officers termed the incident “very serious.” They did not say what the charges against the youths may be, or what sentences they will face if found guilty.

I know a palestinian person who told me her father in 48 went to school and his parents went to work to come home that evening with european jews living in their house. They were told they no longer owned their house or the possessions within. They live in Jordan now. Funny they never were given any money for their property or possessions. Am I the only one who notices something wrong here. Stop supporting Israel until they make full war and civil reparations to their victims
