In Defense of Humanity: Let Gaza Live

We don’t see the images. They are neatly censored from our view in this country. But everywhere else around the world the carnage that is Gaza is being seen and the people are revolted by what they see.
They see dead babies, decapitated bodies, defenseless relief workers killed. Maimed men, makeshift morgues, mortified mothers.
They see exploding white phosphorus shells, cluster bombs, depleted uranium munitions.
They see what is reportedly the world’s fourth most powerful military using all of its power against a defenseless people.

In fact, they are witnesses to 15 days of war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.
They see Hugo Chavez expel Venezuela’s Israeli Ambassador and they see lawmakers in Ecuador condemn Israel’s actions, calling for an investigation into Israel’s crimes against humanity.
And despite the obvious facts of an Israeli-sponsored terror campaign against Palestinians in Gaza, a piece of territory roughly twice the size of the District of Columbia, they see the U.S. Congress support a resolution totally supporting Israel, even though Israel is in violation of U.S. and international law.
They see Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, swaggering in insult to black America by initially refusing to seat Roland Burris from Illinois in the Senate, yet that same Reid cowers before the pro-Israel lobby, and they wonder why.
And sadly, they see the U.S. President-elect, who roared onto the scene like a lion, remain as quiet as a lamb in the face of the utter inhumanity of Israel’s actions, and they wonder why.
And then, they see us. Gathered here in front of the White House, reaffirming our own humanity. The tears of the Palestinians roll down our cheeks, even as we bury our own victims of police murder.
A new day is coming in U.S. politics. We will use the power of our vote to change U.S. policy. We will no longer check our values at the door and support politicians and political parties that fail to deliver.
Not one more bomb to Israel.
In defense of humanity, we will not give up and we will win.

The cocoons of murdered children, wrapped in green, together with boxes containing their dismembered parents and the cries of grief and rage of everyone in that death camp by the sea, can be viewed on al-Jazeera and YouTube, even glimpsed on the BBC. But Russia’s incorrigible poet was not referring to the ephemeral we call news; he was asking why those who knew the why never spoke it and so denied it. Among the Anglo-American intelligentsia, this is especially striking. It is they who hold the keys to the great storehouses of knowledge: the historiographies and archives that lead us to the why.
They know that the horror now raining on Gaza has little to do with Hamas or, absurdly, “Israel’s right to exist.” They know the opposite to be true: that Palestine’s right to exist was canceled 61 years ago and the expulsion and, if necessary, extinction of the indigenous people was planned and executed by the founders of Israel. They know, for example, that the infamous “Plan D” resulted in the murderous depopulation of 369 Palestinian towns and villages by the Haganah (Jewish army) and that massacre upon massacre of Palestinian civilians in such places as Deir Yassin, al-Dawayima, Eilaboun, Jish, Ramle and Lydda are referred to in official records as “ethnic cleansing.” Arriving at a scene of this carnage, David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, was asked by a general, Yigal Allon, “What shall we do with the Arabs?” Ben-Gurion, reported the Israeli historian Benny Morris, “made a dismissive, energetic gesture with his hand and said, ‘Expel them’. The order to expel an entire population “without attention to age” was signed by Yitzhak Rabin, a future prime minister promoted by the world’s most efficient propaganda as a peacemaker. The terrible irony of this was addressed only in passing, such as when the Mapan Party co-leader Meir Ya’ari noted “how easily” Israel’s leaders spoke of how it was “possible and permissible to take women, children and old men and to fill the roads with them because such is the imperative of strategy … who remembers who used this means against our people during the [Second World] war … we are appalled.”

Actually the only images on the lame strem media here in Australia are pro – israeli. They showed the jews demonstrating etc in Australia and in other places around the world but not a single word of about the muslim/palestinian demonstartions around the globe which dwarfed the jews in a numbers sense.

You are free to watch world TV just like in Europe. For less that $150 you can get a satellite system that receives free to air broadcasts from Al Jazeera, Press TV, and 100’s of state operated TV channels from the Middle East.
The Federal Communication Commission even guarantees non-interference by landlords or covenants that would restrict reception of an indispensable form of communication.
If you want to be a global citizen, then get global TV.

Let Israel live in peace. No more radical Islamic organizations to rule Gaza. No more missiles fired from Gaza into Israeli cities. No more pro-hamas propaganda. By the way, Al Jazeera keeps running Radical Islamic Leaders/Clerics meeting with Hitler–this only proves their pro-Nazi sentiment towards Israel, and Ahmadinejad’s goal for taking up Hitler’s “Final Solution”. No more Pro-hamas rallies in the states calling for “Nuke Israel”, or “Jews back in the oven”. No more anti-semitism on this site. Enough.

The muslim-palestinian rallies around the world have revealed the true color/nature of the Radical Islamic extremist view. In pro-Hamas rallies world-wide, especially in England, France, Belgium, and there what did you see? Yes, you saw incitement of violence. You saw molotov cocktails thrown, fires, breaking of windows, burning of cars, signs calling for the extermination of jews, the burning of the Israeli and American Flags. We have seen violent acts against jews in london, france, belgium, denmark in the past week. This is the “peaceful” religion of Islam. This is the Islam that has Infiltrated Europe, and the United States. This is the reflection of the increasing muslim population in the United States. We need to recognize this, and stop it. This is not what America stands for. This mentality of intolerance, religious intolerance, hate for jews, christians, women’s rights, gay rights needs to be recognized and stopped. It is already too late for England, France and Denmark. In these countries, the Islamic Sharia Law has already passed—which means the the Muslims have their own set of laws, outside of these countrie’s laws. It means that the police of these countries are no longer allowed to go into the Muslim areas of these countries. This is what the Muslims of this country are trying to set up in the United States. It is time that we Americans see what is happening. It is time that we connect the dots. This goal of Radical Islam is NOT ACCEPTABLE here. Wake up.

All I saw were people protesting fairly civilly and peacefully unless you consider making some noise out of the ordinary (I don’t) while being tear gassed and threatened by police. Reminded me of 1960s antiwar protests.
Truthfully, I thought they were very clearly peaceful while still making their point. The only thing I saw thrown were shoes, so I call that restrained, and a good protest. If they show up with lead pipes and bats instead of shoes, then you can complain.
Zionist Israelis have no room left to talk or condemn any other group about how “peaceful” they are.

One woman was struck by a baton merely for asking why the police were defending known war criminals and war crimes (according to high-ups in the toothless UN, no less) against those of us protesting for peace, sanity and global justice.

Before I get criticism for my comment, i want you to know that I am speaking about the Radical Islamic Extremists. This is 15-20% of the Muslim population worldwide. The muslim population worldwide is 1.4 billion–meaning that about 210 million are extremist Islam. And the Muslim population in the United States is around 800 Million–15% of this is 120,000. That is a HUGE NUMBER of Islamic Extremists on our soil. When I say Islamic Extremists, I mean those in the Muslim community who believe that it is their Islamic duty to commit jihad-violent acts, terrorism, suicide bombings against “infidels” or those who do not follow Islam.

And if you have read anything, you would know that jihad is waged because of the US’s desecration of the Arabian peninsula, which is Islam is declared to belong to Muslims. Jews and Muslims have only lived in peace up until the Jews of Medina (who have given the prophet Mohammed sanctuary for a period of time) refused to convert to Islam. They were slaughtered for thier generosity, and as a result, Mohammed declared Jews one of the enemies of Islam. These edicts were not from Allah, but merely the bitter ravings from the prophet himself who saw them as a speed bump to total Islamic domination. Since then, any non-Muslims livng in Muslim lands were either exterminated, forcibly converted, marginalized, or made to pay a heavy tax just for the priviledge of being alive.
Islam, as preached by Mohammed and his followers is radical no matter what the standards, ancient or modern. Those Muslims who choose to have” a live and let live” philosophy are the oddballs, and I thank them for it. But the ones who are chomping at the bit to kill non-muslims and die in the process just so they can have the very selfish pleasure of obtaining 72 virgins in paradise…..well, they are following the “true faith.” These people value and celebrate DEATH, not life.

The Israelis habitually do something that is considered anathema to classic and modern warfare; they give Palestinians in Gaza advanced warning that they are going to attack and advise them to leave in order to avoid civilian casualties. It’s odd, but when we Americans were fire-bombing German and Japanese cities, we gave no formal warning. But, then again, we were already locked into a struggle for the survival of Western Democracies, so it made sense at the time.
So, from that perspective, aren’t Israelis also locked into a similar struggle? I mean, they are surrounded by hundreds of millions of people who have more than stated thier hatred and intent. Israel’s enemies constantly act on it. And yet, they still try to do the civilized thing by trying to minimize civilian casualties.
By the way, I have never been to Israel, but I have been to the Middle East twice in two seperate conflicts. From what I have seen on the T.V., Israelis come in many shades of colors. The rest of the region….not so much. So, the “racist” charge does not stick as far as I am concerned. I am convinced the Israel-Haters are really Closet-Nazis in disguise. I hope I’m wrong, but if anyone would like to refute my claims, please do.

According to the polls most Israelis are feeling pretty good about the way the military campaign (slaughter) is going. However they are a people in denial. They have been systematically brainwashed to think of the Palestinians and Arabs in general as sub humans who are only out to destroy them. Consequently many of them do not react with normal human feeling when they see all the death and destruction on TV but rather gloat with pride about how well their boys (and girls) are doing in keeping them “safe”. Clearly the noble “never again” sentiment after WW11 has now become completely corrupted by the US influenced “never again, fuck you” mentality which just seeks to kill anything that moves. A people can never really be safe if that safety depends on killing children, and in the end they themselves will be consumed by a Lady Macbeth complex. The ancient Jewish law of an eye for an eye is harsh to some and fair to others, but it is clear. Zionism on the other hand is a confused mix of domination and victimhood, and it demands an eye for an eyelash. Sooner or later the Zionist nightmare as we know it today will be destroyed. Not by Hamas rockets (of course) but by it’s own cruelty and hubris.

When people are weak and oppressed, we champion them. When they have the strength to stike back at thier enemies, we criticise them for “Lack of Restraint”. What an incredibly high standard we hold the Israelis to and such a low standard of behavior we apply to….well….the other people in the region. I think, considering the context of history and thier own military and economic power, the Israelis have exercised far greater restraint than most of the neighboring nations ever have. Especially the ones who speak Arabic.

Israel is the predator in this case. Hopefully the prey (the Palestinians) were able to gather enough guns and other weaponry to effectively turn against their predator and give them a taste of their own medicine.
As far as restraint goes… Israel could certainly be even more heinous than they are being. If they actually faced a threat and desided they needed to use some of their nukes that would be less restrained.

Israel is the predator? Are you joking? A predator is one who stalks his prey and waits for the perfect time to attack and annihilate. The only time the Israelis have done this was the 1967 Six Day War, and they had pretty damn good reason for premptive strike against thier enemies. The ARABS ARE THE PREDATORS when engage in, or tacitly endorse, mortar and rocket attacks, snipers, suicide bombs, etc, etc. The Israelis have a pretty good record of only fighting when attacked with sufficient force.
How many bombs have to kill JEWISH children before they are allowed to defend themselves? Oh, that’s right, there ARE NO Jewish kids being blown up because we don’t see it on the evening news, so I guess that never happens, huh? Try living in a tiny nation under siege by neigbors who spew vitrioloc hate towards you every day and see how liberal and enlightened you are then my friend.
By the way, the United States is the only country to use nukes in anger. Israel has not. But time may be coming when they will have no choice……

Yes, Ajarhead 0311 is an excellent on-line name for me for two reasons. First I served in the Marine Corps (Jarhead being a rather derisive nickname for my fellow Leathernecks and 0311 being my M.O.S. designation,which is Infantry.) I also open my head and read a great deal of various subjects to get the context of things going in the world and form my own conclusions. Just because I don’t agree with you doesn’t mean I’m not open-minded and objective.
The “incredibly high standard” you question my friend, is really rather simple; there IS temptation to annihilate one’s enemies when they constantly harass you, of course, but the Israelis don’t take it to that level. They have an incredibly powerful military indeed, but without it, they have no real effective deterrent to the conventional armies of thier enemies. They have nukes, but keep them locked down and under wraps. They have millions or rounds of ammuniton but prefer to use rubber bullets and non-lethal weaponry against rioters. The list goes on, but I won’t bore you with details you choose to ignore regardless.
Bottom line: in war, SHIT HAPPENS! The Israelis put more effort into minimizing civilian casualties than most Western nations, including US. But when your enemy hides behind civilians and schools and hospitals and, Allah forbid, thier OWN CHILDREN, and exploit thier deaths for propaganda purposes, I would say that rules out any hope for minimal collateral damage. I guess you expect Israel to just suck it up and take every hit that comes at them, huh? I’m not being an apologist for the Israelis, I’m just stating facts.
By the way, I’m not being sanctimonious and I don’t spew BS. But If I ever need some tips in that department, I’ll be sure to call on you. As far as “defending the indefensible” is concerned, take a good hard look in the mirror sometime homeboy. You may wind up shattering it.

Oh, and before I forget, I must admit I am among many Americans who prefer to cheer on the underdog in any situation, whether it’s Ralph Maccio from “The Karate Kid’ to Sly Stallone in “Rocky1-6″, because it makes us feel good, compassionate, warm and fuzzy all over. But, in 1945, Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were underdogs, as were the Viet Cong in the 1960’s. That doesn’t necessarily mean we should throw our whole weight of support behind them. Nuf said….for now.

Good for Hugo Chavez! At least someone else is taking a stand against this atrocity. Why didn’t the Israelis just attack the rocket launch sites like they did in Lebanon if they were a legitimate threat? It shows no respect for the lives of even the innocent the Palestinians.
If interested in a very good book explaining the problems with the Talmud, see “Judaism Discovered”, by Michael Hoffman. It was banned by Amazon.com (because a rabbi did not want his comment printed on the back cover), but Mr. Hoffman has been very fair in discussing the Talmud and not bashing Jews from what I have read. It is a scholarly effort to expose and counter arguments supporting the Talmud and he has also countered some unfounded negative theories regarding Jews in the Bible so not anti-Jewish. There are many great Christian Jews, anti-Zionist Jews, and True Torah Jews that do not believe the Talmud has any significance, and Jesus was born into a Jewish family so the false teaching is the real enemy, not the people. You can google the title to find it ($45 or less).

just off the hot wire,2 Israeli ultra-nationalist parties have banned Arab political parties in its up coming elections, claiming ‘they support terrorists’ and ‘denie the existance of Israel’.

Here in the UK we see some of what is happening in Gaza and we are mortified.
It appears that the AshkeNAZIS are living up to their name when it comes to racial cleansing and we cannot understand why the US lifts not one finger to help these poor people in GAZA In no way do we condone the basic bombs that the Gazans send to Israel BUT these missiles could easily be picked off by the Israeli military and their advance military machine. Instead they ALLOW these bombs to land in Israel in order to ‘play the victim’. But the patience of the world is running out when it comes to Israel and we see Murder taking place every day on our TV screens by the Israeli military might.
Obama will NOT be able to control Israel as Israel is too far up its own derriere to be able to see reason. But Karma remains Karma…..and for this, I pity Israel.

The United States has sent MILLIONS if not Billions of dollars to help the Palestinians build infrastructure, provide food and medicine and even supported the establishment of a Palestinian state. Where has all that money gone?????
As far as missles “easily being picked off by the Israeli military and thier advanced military machine” are concerned, you should try hitting a moving bullet with another moving bullet and see where that gets you. Our Patriot missles during the first Gulf War were not all that accurate in shooting down SCUDs. Battlefield rockets and mortar rounds are a little more difficult to intercept than a medium-sized ballistic missle, so please, stop overestimating Israel’s military capability.
By the way, I love my U.K. allies and have never served along side better troops than the British military, but how many fingers have your nation lifted to help the Palestinians? I’m not being confrontational, I’m just curious…….

Because the holocaust Jews who currently occupy the NEW ISRAEL still refuse to accept Jesus Christ Gods Son as their savior they are accoeding to the scriptures prevented from approaching God to repent their sins. “The only way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ.” As most of us already know from the Bible, if you sin and fail to repent the punishment for that sin is death. I think the cruel, violent and pride filled arrogance of these murderous, land stealing and unrepented holocaust survivors actually seals their fate before God. Israel there is still time to repent! I strongly suggest you take the opportunity.

CriticalReviews (not) what are you going on about? Why should the Jews accept Jesus Christ as the son of God any more than the Muslims should? What the Israelis have to do is to accept the Palestinians and share the land with them instead of exterminating them. The fact that the Jews have had to put up nearly two thousand years of simple minded fools like you preaching this BS is the cause of the fucking problem in the first place. Jesus was a Jew. He was talking the the Jews. He was talking about Judaism. It was Paul who said he was the son of God in a marketing campaign to the Roman empire. So forget the fucking Romans, we all hate them anyway.
Go back to the Jewish roots of your religion, (people, prophet, God) stop telling the Jews that they killed Christ and perhaps we can all live in peace!!!

There is a war going on out there… maybe not in American but in many counties like England, a war is going on that most of the population is ignorant to or simply don’t understand. You can take a country over by stealth… how you do this is you get as many of your people as possible to be accepted by that country as citizens and then you breed like nothing else…. of course this plan works really well because the stupid white man is dumb enough not to see the power in breeding. In England huge areas are turning black and the numbers of these other races is growing at about five times the rate of the white man. Half of the Palestinians population is under 18 according to one comment I read so this would suggest they are employing this tactic. What they are doing is breeding an army to take on Israel. There is only so long one can stand by and watch such a plan before you simply have to do something about it. I am not pro Israel but I see this plot unfolding all around the world but the white man has his head up his ass and is so busy screaming about human rights, that the very people who don’t believe in human rights and don’t care about human life, will take us all over and we will fade into the history books as the dumbest race on the planet!!!!
