The Palestinian, who had been involved in a demonstration in the occupied West Bank village of Nil’in on July 7, was injured in the toe by the shooting. He was treated by army medics and released, according to the rights group, B’Tselem.
The video clip, which is just over a minute long, was filmed by a 14-year-old Palestinian girl from her home in the village and passed on to B’Tselem.

It begins by showing the Palestinian, named as Ashraf Abu Rahma, 27, at the demonstration where he waved a Palestinian flag and gave a V for victory sign. The video then cuts to show Abu Rahma sitting on a road blindfolded, with his hands cuffed by a plastic tie and surrounded by Israeli soldiers and military vehicles.
He is then shown standing at the back of a military vehicle next to an Israeli army officer, identified by B’Tselem as a lieutenant colonel, who is holding Abu Rahma by his right arm.
Moments later another Israeli soldier standing less than two metres away raises his rifle to his shoulder, takes aim and, without any apparent provocation, fires directly towards the feet of Abu Rahma. The video briefly stops and restarts with Abu Rahma lying on the floor in the same spot while an Israeli soldier inspects his lower legs. At least six other uniformed Israeli soldiers are standing nearby, looking on.

I am sure that the Neocons will tell us that we are not seeing what we think we are seeing and that the video is taken out of context. The neocons will simply say that the Palestinian said something to provoke the Israeli. The plausible deniability will be in full swing–right next to the media black out.

If one Israeli suffers a broken fingernail from the actions of a palestinian, it will be news on the BBC for days. If tens of thousands of palestinian civilians have their lives, possessions, and civilian infrastructure completely destroyed by the nazi-emulating actions of the Israeli government, the BBC will not broadcast this once, but will bury some tiny story on their web-site, with most of the words given to black propaganda like ‘alleged’, and ‘palestinian militants’, and a reference to some tiny violent act that happened to the israelis many years back. The comments that follow, of course, will mostly consist of israeli apologists (via the BBC alerting the israeli megaphone project). Strong anti-israel comment will always be deleted.
The New Labour Guardian, when it knows a story that shows Israel in its true light has already widely spread amongst political types, publishes a mild version of the story to give the impression of caring to its idiot readers. Sometimes, this strategy is so transparent, it is hilarious, as with the case of the torture of the journalist mentioned first. This torture story broke within hours online. Afterwards, we counted the hours and days, until the Guardian felt it had no choice but to cover the story, to maintain an illusion to its (exceedingly) dim-witted readers.
DID YOU KNOW ZIONIST PSUEDO-ENCYCLOPEDIA SERVICE, WIKIPEDIA, ONLY ALLOWS REFERENCES TO DATA PUBLISHED BY MAINSTREAM PUBLICATIONS LIKE THE GUARDIAN. You read that correctly. Until a third hand report of a story like this appears whitewashed in the Guardian or the like, it can’t be placed in a wikipedia ‘article’.
Perhaps Alex Jones, and his team, would like to explain why they seem to follow the wikipedia policy. The Guardian contains no first hand reporting of any value. At best, they are reporting late a heavily softened version of a story found in a far better form online- sometimes in a regional paper, and sometimes on an independent site like Uruknet.
Strangely, the Daily Mail is a different case. Their tabloid reporting often captures local stories of state abuse in the UK not found elsewhere, and can be well referenced. Their crude political agenda is self-evident, and easy to ignore. Likewise, the Times often gives insight into the minds of the monsters, through its depraved editorial and propaganda content. No one here would dream of taking Murdoch’s foul words at face value, so quoting them is safe.
The Guardian (and Independent), on the other hand, should never be given the oxygen of publicity. Both are successful ‘brain slugs’ on the heads of otherwise liberal, and potentially decent people. Too many readers here will fall prey to the Bernays’ style manipulation methods of these mock-leftist newspapers. Smarter and better informed readers will probably already monitor their content to track the current priorities of the Blair psy-op machine.

A Million thanks to the Israeli organisation that gave Hundreds of Video cameras to palestinians to tape any abuse they see . so far the Elderly couple of shepperds have been captured being abused and hurt , a palestinian attached to an Electric pole and beaten , settlers abusing many people (Youtube already) etc… there are Good israelis who are exposing the horrible ones . Bravo.

They act like they are moral and honorable…but they are not. Their answer to alot of this is “kill” them….regardless of the presumed charge against them…

Not bein a smart ass here. what exactly is a zionist? and how did it come about that they were fingered as part of the illuminati.
