Iran discovers billion-barrel oil field

IRAN says it has discovered a new oil field containing more than one billion barrels of crude.
Oil Minister Gholam Hossein Nozari said the oil field held 1.1 billion barrels of sweet crude oil, of which 233 million coudl be recovered, the Shana news agency reported.
The field was in the area of Andimeshk town in Khuzestan province of southwest Iran that borders Iraq, Mr Nozari said.

Iran is the No.2 producer in OPEC and No.4 worldwide, although its ability to reach oil production targets has been hampered by a lack of international investment.
Production started in February from Iran’s biggest onshore oil field, Azadegan, which is estimated to have 42 billion barrels of crude oil.

The title is inaccurate. This is not a billion barrel field. Only a quarter of that is recoverable. This isn’t the big news people seem to think. Several of the fields offshore Newfoundland are far bigger.

Oil was created by the destruction that was caused by the world wide flood as stated in the bible,now it is being used by the new world order to help them control the world. there are plenty of oil reserves that have never been touched, why? because thats the way they want it to be .

Look, We have enugh oil on the southern slopes of Alaska (Side note. I suggest you read of watch somthing on this ,, I wil provide links to do just this(Spread these links!!!!!!!!!))
Any way the reason we do not enbelish these natural resources on our own lads is becuase we have hand-shake relationships with mideleaster countries. Simply put, These countires buy some of our national debt, and in return we buy from them excluslivly. A busness deal, yes. A crime against humanity in whole, yes. So the cost of our lives and souls depends on a “All Mighty Dollar” Any how, it’s a spider web, and traped in the center, shown as a target, Is a picture of earth and it’s doom. Remember this, Don’t be controled, are you a puppet? Free will is here for a reason and be it the evil present now or a movement against those who trespass on our rights! If there was oil in Zimbabwe I think Mugabe would have been ousted like saddam was, and the ‘Right to democracy’ bullshit speaches would have started.
You will never see Americans driving a small smart carbecause they have a ‘bigger is better attitude to life’.
When demand is greater than supply, people and governments will do anything to gain control.
The Iranian leader has demonstrated some smart timing here by highlighting his counties oil reserves at a time when they are being threatened by an oil loving and very oil dependant nation.

This is funny. Just like the fact that every time the USA or Israel threatens Iran, oil prices go up and Iran makes more money.
I can see the Iranians laughing at the USA as it becomes more and more desperate now that the great Plan for a New American Century [c] is bust. With Russian agreements just signed with Iran and Chinese investment and contracts with Iran for Energy, here is more of the stuff and it is all going to Russia and China after all. Plus the Caspian Sea oil is already flowing through pipelines outside the control of the USA and Bridas oil is doing just fine after all that.
It’s going to be getting quite lonely in that “Shining House on the Hill”, not to mention chilly up on that hill come winter.
They might have a last crazy throw of the dice, they may even still think they have the means and the power projection to do it, but they will get trounced at this stage if they do. China and Russia have strategic interests in Iran which they will not permit the USA to imperil. Their strategic interests have been well served by EVERYTHING which has happened as a result of the NeoCons meddling what is more and they have never been stronger and are on the rise, in military, economic, influence and international prestige whilst the USA has clearly peaked and is falling fast in all these areas.
Do the NeoCons recognise checkmate when they see it? That is the question. I fear that it is a rhetoric one at this stage.

Adam…. There is lots of gold in Rhodeasia but they have to wait for that 72y.o. despot to die or get assisinated before any of the mining companies get in. After all no point setting up everything only to have it stolen by Mugabee and his cronies in the future.
As for Iran, the stage is set and we are all waiting to see if Bush presses the button so all these glass carparking idiots can jizz in their jocks and take a hit right in the hip pocket at the bowser and at the supermarket.

Iran’s total Oil reserves 136 billion barrels x $145/brl oil = $19.47 trillion, which for Iran’s population of 70 million works out to $281,714 per person. That’s about the per capita debt for each American.

The world uses 1B barrels of oil every 11 days. The US alone uses 1B per month. So a 1B find amounts to nothing. Another day of us continuing with the consumerist paradigm, which can’t be brought to an end fast enough in this writer’s opinion.

The world uses 83 million barrels of oil a day. That massive discovery is 15 days supply, if you could pump it all out of the ground. Not so impressive after all. research the US deposits. Not so impressive either.

Big deal!what is that going to do for us.There is billions of barrels of oil in north and south Dakota and an ocean of oil in alaska .why aren’t the oil company’s pumping it. the answer is very simple its cheaper to buy the oil from foreign sources and pass the
expenses to the suckers (us) and pocket the profits.And the best man on there team is bush.

Any large crude oil discovery is significant in that it may lead to more oil being discovered there and it broadens our perspective of where to look. There is no evidence of an energy crisis in actual deposits of oil. Beware of those who post here to discount important factual evidence in order to realign with false public messaging explaining increased gas prices.

I have an easy solution. China can open a 10 million man base all over Iran and create an alliance. Iran can then sell oil directly to China at a discounted rate. If the United Socialist States of America attacks Iran, China would defend it and Russia would naturally aid China, its strongest ally.

Exactly what does the USA use 1B barrels a month for? We don’t make anything anymore. Where is all the oil going? SUVs, I don’t buy it, not that much oil. So where is it being used and for what purpose?

As we all know both Isreal and the U.S. want to control oil in that region. attacking Iran is for controling the flow of oil.
Iseal has a pipe line near Iraq and Seria boarder, they cannot expand there territorys with out oil and natural gas. As Russia sends an Attack wing of heavy bombers and SU-30 fighter attack bombers to Arminia in preperation of a counter strike on Isreal and the U.S. bases in the region we are seeing the biggining of WW3 I hope its all scare tactics, I dont belive it is, this is the perfect opertunity for a police state grab and a one world goverment power move. good luck Jim
