What exactly is a glorified scud? Sounds like US is saying Iran has no threatening defence of offence, but yet, they are such a huge threat, they must be bombed and exterminated and a missile system installed in Poland at our expense to pretect everyone but us. More gov BS!!! Who is lying here?

@billybob: I never said anything in contradiction to the wide scope of atheists’ approaches to liberty, so you commenting on it now points to you misunderstanding the bones of what I wrote.

To recap, you asserted that all professing Christians are as bad as the idiot faction among them that votes for Bush, thereby tarring us all with the same brush (yes, I’m a Christian), and I merely highlighted the folly of such logic by providing you with a comparison in the realm of atheists. That was my point, so your non sequitor comments in your comeback about me having explaining to do are irrelevant to my post.

One thing I will make clear in addressing a point you raised in your comeback is that Christians do not act merely on fear of displeasing God. Some of us actually act out of love for Him and love for moral rectitude, for which reason no educated true Christian could support any form of government that seeks to tyrannise its people. In other words, being a Christian should make a man a lover of liberty. That said, many if not most who profess to be Christians are not true believers at all. They just play along with it because it’s good for business and public image, especially in a dumbed down America.

@Sporidium: The beliefs of Stalin, Mao, and so on are a form of state worship. In those societies there is an absence of god because god is the state. If you think communisim is a microcosim of athieism, you are mistaken. An antheist can be a communist, capitalist, and even an founding father or a U.S. President, i.e Thomas Jefferson or Thomas Paine. That being said, the persuit of true freedom and liberty does not require a celestrial endorsment. You just refuse to acknowledge the paralells between religion and a secular dictatorship out of fear of hell. Again, you have the explaining to do not me. Therefore sir, your argument seriously amiss.

The attack on Iran is a Jew ploy… they want America to be defeated, they did the same in Germany when they convinced Hitler to attack the Soviet Union.

According to Freedman they started World War 1, and in all liklihood were the hotheads who caused the Confederacy to fire first in the US Civil War, thereby guaranteeing its defeat.

Napoleons rapid rise from nobody military officer to Emperor was similarly thought to have been choreographed by Jews, as was his similarly rapid decline, as his Grand Armee became frozen wasted corpses on the Russian steppe.

The Jews promise only to deceive, six Mossad agents were taken into custody after they had been filming the 911 drama from New Jersey, Michael Chertoff, who is also a Jew had them released with as many as one hundred more… That’s too damn cute.

They have infiltrated the political and defense infrastructure, and they control the media… However Americans only you can put it to rights… demand all Jews in the military and government surrender.

They appear to have infiltrated Police Departments, most notably in Houston and in Austin Texas, there was a CIA agent murdered in Houston, and Riad Hamad was murdered in Austin after Scott Makufka aka Victor Thorne had been in town, he probly killed Hamad to warn Alex Jones to keep off of touchy topice like Jews and 911.

Sporidium, I agree with you. I’m atheist myself and atheism itself IS a belief. I believe there is/are no god/s and that’s it. I can’t prove it one way or the other – I’m just more convinced myself that this is the case.

Now, does this mean that others should stop believing in what ever it is that they believe in? Of course not – I’ll let others believe what they want and I expect the same from the others.

Religion may be a “drug”, but as long as it’s not politically misused and “overdosed” on a society as a whole, I believe it’s a good – and in some cases even a necessary “drug” as it keeps hopes up when nothing else does for some people.

The problem is that there are people in high places who try to deliberely create circumstances in which a misuse of religion(s) becomes possible – and unfortunately that’s the case both in Iran as well as in Israel – but also in the US.

Religion may have (self)heeling powers, but an overdose can easily make people blind too.

@ billybob: You’re basically saying that everyone who professes to be Christian are all the same rligiously and politically. That’s like me saying all godless atheists like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, YOU, et al are all the same.

Religion for mind control? Yes, I agree, most of it is mischievously used for that purpose, including secular humanism which owns your atheistic worldview. Ultimately everyone has a “religion” as everyone has a core belief system that guides their morals, so your argument is seriously amiss.

I thought Alex Jones & Co were about exposing corruption. However, I see that the people who post comments are a bunch of religious nuts. You christians are the reason the evil people running things have run amuck! You have the explaining to do, not people like me. Lest we forget, dubya was given 2 terms by people like you. Religion is the ultimate mind control that you speak with such disdain. Just look at the most religious parts of the world. The people of those countries always adore and embrace brutal and cruel leaders. Don’t you see the similarities? You believe in all these other conspiracies but you won’t question the chief conspiracy among them? Religion, at it’s heart, is totalitarian. If there is an end of the world around the corner, you have brought it upon yourselves.
