Iran’s reaction to attack would be ‘very decisive’: official

A senior Iranian official, reacting to comments by US Vice President Joe Biden, on Monday said his country would respond “in a very full-scale and very decisive way” if it were attacked by Israel.
The Iranian official was speaking in Japan hours after US television broadcast an interview in which Biden said the United States would not stand in Israel’s way in its dealings with Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Biden told ABC television’s ‘This Week’ that “we cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do when they make a determination, if they make a determination, that they’re existentially threatened.”
In Tokyo, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said: “I think that America and Israel are fully aware what kind of result such a wrong judgement will entail.

WOW. that is a total lie. They do that to other nations ALL THE TIME! Not to mention the US citizens. Plus, why is Biden even making comments on this situation? Biden seems to make official statements and tends to speak as if his word is solid as if HE were president. I wonder if this is the same case as it was with the Bush/Cheney days. Cheney made all the REAL decisions and Bush was the dummy everyone could blame, mock, and laugh at. So is this the same? Is Biden making all the moves and Obama is just the puppet? Time will tell…

I see what’s coming… the mass exodus of millions of humans from life… a cleansing, designed by the NWO, to clean off the people they can’t control.
I said it before, the only way people will fight, will be when it hits them at home. It might be an officer raping their mother, brother, sister, etc… it might be a bomb set off in their home that kills everyone but them, it might be being blinded by a non lethal weapon, etc…but once it hits home to enough people… and only when America has been beaten to the point that it almost dissolves by default, will the American people attempt to rise up.
Watch the old movie Red Dawn, it took everyone being shoved into prison camps, etc before the American people started to fight back… and that was ONLY after the bubba revolutionaries calling themselves wolverines, hit back against the enemy first. The movie was never specific about how many American’s died in the war, or the camps, but I can assure you, it was probably mind boggling… and the real life deal, will be even more horrible.

Iran, if you have nukes, it’s time for you to do a preemptive strike on Israel, now.
They already have their guns turned on you… time to step up, or get down on bended knee to kiss some Israeli ass.
America has already said they are turning a blind eye, so, while they have their eyes closed and their back turned, hit Israel with all your might, have North Korea jump in and send some experimental nukes their way. Either way, the war is on, so, now it’s just a matter of who strikes first.

Iran does not need nukes to kick israel’s ass. The israeli military would be royally whooped if they attack Iran and no one else jumps in on either side.
The only way Iran is threatened is if isreal decides to use their nukes or if the US decides to jump in (which I believe they are obligated to do regardless of who starts it). But of course if either of these scenarios happen then Russia will jump in as well on the side of their 7th largest trading parting…Iran, and the US military is so stretched and so overburndened and the US economy is already dead that Russia would kick US ass.
Russia, when/if you get involved, do not forget to bomb israel. If israel thinks it can continue to attack all of it’s neighbours without any consequences then bombing israel back to the stone age and returning the lands back to palestine might finally shut them up for good.

used to be proud brit, just how is that war that israel has been involved in since they originally stole palestinian land? Making any progress? I mean it’s been over 60 years now. Seems to me if they were the best trained military in the world they could have achieved victory a LONG time ago, don’t you think? Especially against all those unarmed civilians they keep murdering.
You know Canada trains a lot of other countries soldiers, there was quite a few articles i read a few years back saying how Canada had the best trained military in the world, and Canada actually has some victories on it’s side to back up those claims, what does israel have to back up their claims?
As for them being weapons exporters…exporting weapons given to them by the US is not legitemately a weapons exporter, it’s stealing from the American taxpayer to sell weapons to the US’s enemies

Iran are a force to be reckoned with. They are armed with Russian and French weapon systems and have the fifth largest standing army in the world. An attack by Israel would possibly be the stupidest piece of international policy ever. Why galvanise the nation of Iran behind the Islamic Republic?
An attack on Iran would likely not impress either Russia or China. Israel and America would have a REAL fight on their hands if they tried to pull this one off.

We heard this kind of fear mongering before we went into Iraq. And Iraq had a larger Army AND the same weapon suppliers as Iran.
Iran will be rolled over and conquered in less than a month. Pretty much like Iraq and Afghanistan.
And Russia and China will not get involved. It is not expedient. They would probably get more trade and better contracts under a liberated Iran with good old American capitalism injected into it anyways.

Have you noticed ever since you were old enough to follow the news that there was always something that was happening that was the ‘it’? A news story that will take us into the ultimate destruction of humanity or its enslavement if it is not dealt with.

Israel launch a nuclear attack against Iran, can they be sure that
the Russians might not see this as a threat to their Naval Base,

Justifiably so, Iran has the international right to defend itself from a foreign aggressor such as Israel and full retaliation by Iran would be the ONLY response to any unprovoked attack on Iran by either Israel or the US criminal Government.

Many of the below comments are flawed.
1st, Israel could easily defeat Iran, in a one on one, however, that will not happen, because the US Military will definitely get involved. When this happens, Iran is gone, along with everyone who sides with them.
2nd, Everyone talks about the US military being “spread thin”, but it’s a fallacy.
America currently has 195,000 troops in Iraq, and Afghanistan, including the 17,000 troops Obama sent, recently. Now, the total US military is numbered at 2,475,967 troops(Oct. ‘08). There are more than enough troops to destroy Iran, and Russia. The North Koreans, however, could be spoilers, should the S Koreans fail to keep them in check. They have millions of troops, and would tie up many US assets, assuming China doesn’t get involved, immediately, which they likely would.
3rd, It’s annoying to see so many simplistic people, who believe that Iran is a “good guy”. Do you remember WW2? Haven’t you learned anything? How do you guarantee a win? Easy! You play both sides. Friction between nations is created, to keep you enthralled, don’t forget that. The countries of the world are all won, the citizens are the only thing standing in their way.
Now, please, for god’s sake, think before you speak! Mis-information doesn’t help our cause.

David, your analysis is facile and absolute rubbish,
most of America’s military assets are thousands of miles away,
and the USA is bankrupt, and beholden to the Chinese Banks.
Further, the USA is unlikely to divert anything like its total military
towards Iran even in the event of total war, at the expense of leaving
its other Worldwide assets, and the American Homeland undefended.
Nor could the USA afford to leave the conflict zones in which it is
currently involved without dire consequence.
You talk about simplistic people, and of circumstances as though
there are few grey areas, but the reality is that in the past the West
had always meddled in Iran. Look what happened when Mosadik
was overthrown by CIA intereference, and the Shah was imposed on
the people. His was one of the most brutal regimes on the Globe.
When he was overthrown by the Mullahs, the USA aided his escape, and he
then stole a vast amout of Iran’s wealth and took it to the USA. In turn, the
Shah had this wealth stolen by Rockefeller’s Bank in New York. The Iranians
have not forgotten these vile American acts, and expect dishonourable
conduct from USA.
