Israel Using Depleted Uranium Against Gaza Victims
More evidence of war crimes being committed

Medics have found traces of depleted uranium in victims of Israel’s brutal attack on Gaza, according to a Press TV report, meaning the ultimate death toll could be far higher as future generations are plagued by cancers and birth defects.
“Norwegian medics told Press TV correspondent Akram al-Sattari that some of the victims who have been wounded since Israel began its attacks on the Gaza Strip on December 27 have traces of depleted uranium in their bodies,” states the article.
Following the conclusion of the first Gulf War in 1991, in which depleted uranium was used by U.S. forces, cancers and birth defects in Iraq soared and many veterans organizations agree that the weapon was responsible for the emergence of Gulf War Syndrome that has plagued hundreds of thousands of Gulf War veterans.
Depleted uranium shell holes at the infamous Highway of Death in Iraq showed measurements 1,000 times more radioactive than background radiation. The residue of a DU weapon can be spread by the wind and infect humans not in the immediate area as well as the entire food chain.
The image below shows some of the shocking effects of depleted uranium and how its use leads to horrific birth defects.
In 1999, the UN called for the use of depleted uranium to be banned worldwide but efforts to downplay its effects led by the Pentagon have blocked such a ban.
Former head of the Pentagon’s 1994 U.S. Army Depleted Uranium Project Maj. Doug Rokke has faced constant harassment, including murder attempts, after going public in 1997 to expose the health effects from depleted uranium that the U.S. government and the World Health Organization have consistently dismissed.
Israel’s use of depleted uranium against victims of the Gaza bombing campaign provides further evidence that war crimes are being committed with the tacit approval of both the current administration as well as president elect Barack Obama.

If they trace this ammunition back, undoubtedly, it comes from Amerika. Depleted uranium has two reasons for existing in ammunition: first, it is claimed to make the penetration better and secondly, to get rid of the waste. Since Hamas doesn’t have tanks, we’ll assume it is being used to continue to kill and harm the populace long after Israel leaves. As I’ve said before on these boards, let’s it seeps into the water supply and since Israel likes to steal all the water in the region, Israelis will be dying, getting cancer and having birth defects.

Although I do think that Israel is wrong for invading Gaza, I doubt they would pollute the land they are trying to take from the Palestinians….
If they are in fact using DU, their own people would suffer once they have wiped out the Palestinians and taken back the land they claim to be all theirs.

I don’t approve of Isreals heavy handed tactics. Murder is murder and that’s what this is. I think it’s a face saving move by Isreals leadership after getting their butts kicked in Lebanon. It’s Iraq on a miniature scale, make sure they don’t have any weapons to fight back with, and then go in an masacre them.
I don’t want any of my tax money going to Isreal. They should learn to live in peace with their neighbors. Muslims are for the most part decent people.

This headline is not news to me, because I knew it when I heard Israel was using Bunker Busters in Gaza. Bunker Busters are made from Depleted Uranium. Philip Corso told me that in his book “The Day After Roswell.” He said we got that idea from the space aliens. In order to penetrate a bunker we just needed a material that was extremely dense. We found that in Depleted Uranium. But radiation is poison, and anyone who pays attention knows that when you use poison, you will poison yourself. That statement is even more true about radiation, because of the longevity of it, and the inability to control its spread. What a shame that those who control our world are so stupid.

Depleted uranium is an abomination. In order to understand the current Arab/Israeli conflict, I would highly suggest a study of Albert Pike- who predicted world war one, world war two, and apparently he is so far accurate about world war three. Since he died in the 1800’s, his involvement can’t be ignored.
He states that the third world war will begin using political Zionism against Islam, and will draw other nations into the conflict in a final bloodbath- after which they will introduce the New World Order as the solution.

I know way too many Jews from Israel to dislike them. Every single one that I know personally and see EVERY DAY is generous and loving.
What I am becoming increasingly livid about is the way the governments run our world, and the fact that people are bashing ALL Jews because of the actions of the Israeli government.
I’ve sat sobbing over this situation. I am glad my friends and their two babies are returning from Israel today. It has been nerve wrecking waiting for them to return safely. Babies and children should not be subject to such dread.

As an American and US Army Retired, it is very difficult for me to consider my self as “evil, selfish” and the other things you say about people who are Jewish. This is not to say that I’m always nice, kind, or that I do the right things all the time. Like most people, who believe in God, I try to live an honorable life that could be pleasing to God and to our fellow human beings.
I would like to know how as a Jew that I am selfish, evil, wicked and all the rest; and, your thoughtful suggestions as to how I could be the complete opposite of what you claim in your remarks today.
In addition, I think that you and I should meet for a light snack and coffee so that you and I together can do something good for our community, our Texas (if you live in Texas), our Country, and maybe even something good for the world.

Observers worldwide have been expressing great pity for the people of Gaza, many of whom have been killed, injured, or forced to flee their homes during the ongoing IDF operation. This pity may be a natural emotional reaction, yet it is unethical and immoral.
To pity the people of Gaza is to patronize them, in essence implying that they do not control their fate, the state of their government, or their own actions. It is to assume one of two things: Either that Gazans are too stupid to oust the cancerous Hamas presence in their midst, or that they are unable to do so.
Just as a crying baby who only elicits pity will continue to cry, the citizens of Gaza will continue to cry out to the world instead of taking matters into their own hands. As long as they are told that they are helpless victims or mere pawns at the hands of terrorists, Gazans will only see their suffering prolonged.
The residents of Gaza, and the Palestinians as a whole, say they would like their own state. Yet such state must be earned. And earning a state – a piece of land to call your own – takes much more than incessant whining to the international community coupled with a desire to drive out the Jews. It requires inner strength and the ability to create rather than destroy. This is what Israelis proved time and again for over 60 years, and this is what Palestinians have yet to prove.
Yet before the people of Gaza are able to build, Hamas must be obliterated. Moreover, Hamas’ ultimate defeat must not be at the hands of the IDF, but rather, it is an endeavor that must be undertaken by Gaza residents themselves. After all, Hamas is the true reason for their misery.
Those who believe that Gazans are capable of this should do away with their pity. As to those who do not believe Gazans can do it - why waste time pitying them in the first place?

It is true that the United States has used DU weapons in Iraq. It is a shame that this is the case, too. Let us not forget the reports of the DU munitions that were used by Israel, in Lebanon, as well. Military planners often only consider the immediate goals and agendas. If they have them and they feel that they are the best option to achieve their objectives, they will generally use them. It is unfortunate.

It is a humanitarian crisis there now, why else would the government keep the media out? Hundreds of Hamas terrorists have been killed since the “Cast Lead” operation began last week, including 100 since the start of Israel’s ground operation, and several of the group’s senior leaders have been assassinated. Dozens have been taken prisoner as well.
The Hamas leader called to murder Israelis and Jews worldwide, including children. “The Israelis have sentenced their children to death… They have legitimized the killing of their people all over the world,” he said. Hamas’ platform calls for all Jews to convert to Islam or be killed, based on an Islamic saying (Hadith), and the group has not refrained from targeting children in the past.
Hamas will destroy synagogues and Jewish schools as well, Zahar said, just as Israel destroyed mosques in Gaza. Israel bombed several mosques used to store rockets and ammunition.
Zahar suggested Hamas was prepared to seek a ceasefire, saying Hamas would discuss “whatever is good for our people.” He issued a list of demands, saying any ceasefire must include a complete end to IDF counterterrorism activities, Hamas control of the Gaza coast and the opening of Israeli crossings.
Israel has not offered Hamas a ceasefire, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently said operations in Gaza would continue “until we achieve our goals.”

You didn’t even include all of the DU weapons in the inventory of the United States. I have other things to do with my time, at present, but I will list a couple for you in the inventory of the United States Military, alone, which you excluded. You excluded the depleted uranium flechettes in use by the US Army, in their M1 series main battle tanks, as well as the GBU 28’s in the United States Air Force’s inventory. There are more and there are more nations than just the US who utalize these weapons, including Israel.

If you are confused about the rights and wrongs of this conflict, ask yourself the following 2 questions:
1) What would happen if Hamas laid down its weapons and forsook all violence?
2) What would happen if Israel laid down all its weapons, disbanded the IDF, and forsook all violence?
In case you can’t figure it out, the answer to (1) is that there would be a 2-state solution to the conflict with a dramatic improvement in the economic plight of the Palestinians.
The answer to (2) is that the world would witness a grand slaughter and blood-letting not seen since the Nazi concentration camps were opened.

I can assure you that we do not “share” or sell Israel all of our weapons systems. I did not mean that my list of weapons was inclusive of all weapons systems worldwide that use depleted uranium. This is pure propaganda. I sincerely doubt the truth of it.
Depleted uranium is not used as an anti-personnel weapon. It’s far too costly for that. The sole use of depleted uranium is to increase the mass of armor piercing projectiles without significantly increasing the size. Since Palestine has no significant armor hardening, the use of depleted uranium is not called for.
This is my first encounter on this website, I’m not inclined to take further stories very seriously. There’s a lot of lying going on about this war, and as usual most of the lies are being told by the muslims who have a rather tenuous grip on reality in the first place.

There are so many comments in this section. I have already left a few, myself, regarding the situation in Israel/Palestine. I wish to take a moment to address a few of the things that you mentioned. Whether people are aware of it, or not, most religions are based upon astrology, in one form, or another. You referenced Mary, the mother of Jesus. You stated that she was a whore. In the Times of London, David Aaronovich, writing for the usual interest,s is bringing up the comparison between the Nazis and Israel so he doesn’t have to look at the issue of how Israel is slaughter civilians with no real justification.
Aaronovich claims anyone criticising Israel is comparing them to the Nazis, which isn’t true, is it? Then he goes into history and finds one example from the Warsaw Ghetto which is especially horrendous, ignoring the fact that the Ghetto for many years resembled Gaza in many respects and the Gazans could still meet the same fate as the Jews in the Ghetto a few years down the line.
After all, a Nazi writing in 1940 would have reported a situation not that unlike Gaza today in as far as a racially and religious homogenous group amounting to 1.5 million people has been imprisoned in a camp in their own country and deprived of a role in the economy, reducing them to starvation or aid and subject to constant controls by the occupying forces as well as violent reprisals.
But the comparison is not with the Nazis in the first place. The standard is international law and human decency and basic justice.
The Bilderberg, freemason, Zionest, CIA, MI6 and their allies around the world have instrumentalised the Holocaust to justify their violence.
The real lesson of the Holocaust, which they constantly fail to see because it doesn’t suit their political and economic interests, is that no one of any race or religion should be systematically imprisoned, starved and murdered.

A few years ago I read an artical and it was basically saying that because of nuclear weapons it is more likley that we will see another holocust of a people another program of extermination.
I thought to myself at the time that this was a stupid remark for surely if the people who you are trying to liquidate will have nukes and they would retaliate with them.

A few thing you should know about the Isrealis:

The fact is (and can be found in books and TV archives) that Israel only defends itself. Genetic geneology may be interesting but it is totally irrelevant to this discussion. This conflict is mired in culture, religion and economics. You would normally expect that cultural and religious differences could be subordinated by common economic interests (as they are in westernized countries to a large extent), but Islamic religious fanaticism is so deep and antithetical to economic progress that it completely overrides considerations of self-interest (best example is people blowing themselves up just to strike a blow at their enemy).
How is it possible to make a rational peace agreement with people who are inherently irrational?

Dear friends of all religions and origins.
There are some, that are simply poorly informed among us. Some of us are puzzled and driven by propaganda. Some of us know jack sh/t about the problem and are just kidding anything that comes to their mind.
The truth is not a simple thing to find. And sometimes there can even be a truth parallel to another truth. But that is all just fine. We all have the right to be wrong. To make mistakes and stupid hasty decisions. That is how God (whatever we call him) created us.
But what is not fine is that some of us are full of hate. Some of us drool poison and sweat grudge. And huge portion of hostility can be found in their comments. It is futile to try to come with facts and arguments, when all you get for answer is more insults, more hate, more wish for killing.
These people, whatever side they stand for, are not partners for discussion. These people want one or another nation exterminated. These people are not to be talked to. These people are to be peed all over.
The Israeli deserve a country of their own to live in peace. The Palestinians deserve government that does not use them as living shields. And Sam deserves better parents, because his original ones obviously failed to teach him basic manners and respect for others.

So once again, Israel has opened the gates of hell to the Palestinians. Forty civilian refugees dead in a United Nations school, three more in another. Not bad for a night’s work in Gaza by the army that believes in “purity of arms”. But why should we be surprised?
Have we forgotten the 17,500 dead – almost all civilians, most of them children and women – in Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon; the 1,700 Palestinian civilian dead in the Sabra-Chatila massacre; the 1996 Qana massacre of 106 Lebanese civilian refugees, more than half of them children, at a UN base; the massacre of the Marwahin refugees who were ordered from their homes by the Israelis in 2006 then slaughtered by an Israeli helicopter crew; the 1,000 dead of that same 2006 bombardment and Lebanese invasion, almost all of them civilians?
What is amazing is that so many Western leaders, so many presidents and prime ministers and, I fear, so many editors and journalists, bought the old lie; that Israelis take such great care to avoid civilian casualties. “Israel makes every possible effort to avoid civilian casualties,” yet another Israeli ambassador said only hours before the Gaza massacre. And every president and prime minister who repeated this mendacity as an excuse to avoid a ceasefire has the blood of last night’s butchery on their hands. Had George Bush had the courage to demand an immediate ceasefire 48 hours earlier, those 40 civilians, the old and the women and children, would be alive.
What happened was not just shameful. It was a disgrace. Would war crime be too strong a description? For that is what we would call this atrocity if it had been committed by Hamas. So a war crime, I’m afraid, it was. After covering so many mass murders by the armies of the Middle East – by Syrian troops, by Iraqi troops, by Iranian troops, by Israeli troops – I suppose cynicism should be my reaction. But Israel claims it is fighting our war against “international terror”. The Israelis claim they are fighting in Gaza for us, for our Western ideals, for our security, for our safety, by our standards. And so we are also complicit in the savagery now being visited upon Gaza.
I’ve reported the excuses the Israeli army has served up in the past for these outrages. Since they may well be reheated in the coming hours, here are some of them: that the Palestinians killed their own refugees, that the Palestinians dug up bodies from cemeteries and planted them in the ruins, that ultimately the Palestinians are to blame because they supported an armed faction, or because armed Palestinians deliberately used the innocent refugees as cover.
The Sabra and Chatila massacre was committed by Israel’s right-wing Lebanese Phalangist allies while Israeli troops, as Israel’s own commission of inquiry revealed, watched for 48 hours and did nothing. When Israel was blamed, Menachem Begin’s government accused the world of a blood libel. After Israeli artillery had fired shells into the UN base at Qana in 1996, the Israelis claimed that Hizbollah gunmen were also sheltering in the base. It was a lie. The more than 1,000 dead of 2006 – a war started when Hizbollah captured two Israeli soldiers on the border – were simply dismissed as the responsibility of the Hizbollah. Israel claimed the bodies of children killed in a second Qana massacre may have been taken from a graveyard. It was another lie. The Marwahin massacre was never excused. The people of the village were ordered to flee, obeyed Israeli orders and were then attacked by an Israeli gunship. The refugees took their children and stood them around the truck in which they were travelling so that Israeli pilots would see they were innocents. Then the Israeli helicopter mowed them down at close range. Only two survived, by playing dead. Israel didn’t even apologise.
Twelve years earlier, another Israeli helicopter attacked an ambulance carrying civilians from a neighbouring village – again after they were ordered to leave by Israel – and killed three children and two women. The Israelis claimed that a Hizbollah fighter was in the ambulance. It was untrue. I covered all these atrocities, I investigated them all, talked to the survivors. So did a number of my colleagues. Our fate, of course, was that most slanderous of libels: we were accused of being anti-Semitic.
And I write the following without the slightest doubt: we’ll hear all these scandalous fabrications again. We’ll have the Hamas-to-blame lie – heaven knows, there is enough to blame them for without adding this crime – and we may well have the bodies-from-the-cemetery lie and we’ll almost certainly have the Hamas-was-in-the-UN-school lie and we will very definitely have the anti-Semitism lie. And our leaders will huff and puff and remind the world that Hamas originally broke the ceasefire. It didn’t. Israel broke it, first on 4 November when its bombardment killed six Palestinians in Gaza and again on 17 November when another bombardment killed four more Palestinians.
Yes, Israelis deserve security. Twenty Israelis dead in 10 years around Gaza is a grim figure indeed. But 600 Palestinians dead in just over a week, thousands over the years since 1948 – when the Israeli massacre at Deir Yassin helped to kick-start the flight of Palestinians from that part of Palestine that was to become Israel – is on a quite different scale. This recalls not a normal Middle East bloodletting but an atrocity on the level of the Balkan wars of the 1990s. And of course, when an Arab bestirs himself with unrestrained fury and takes out his incendiary, blind anger on the West, we will say it has nothing to do with us. Why do they hate us, we will ask? But let us not say we do not know the answer.

Quest for justice

I am a Jew. I was a participant in the Rally for the Right of Return to Palestine. It was the right thing to do.
I’ve heard about the European holocaust against the Jews since I was a small child. I’ve visited the memorials in Washington, DC and Jerusalem dedicated to Jewish lives lost and I’ve cried at the recognition to what level of atrocity mankind is capable of sinking.
Where are the Jews of conscience? No righteous malice can be held against the survivors of Hitler’s holocaust. These fragments of humanity were in no position to make choices beyond that of personal survival. We must not forget that being a survivor or a co-religionist of the victims of the European Holocaust does not grant dispensation from abiding by the rules of humanity.
“Never again” as a motto, rings hollow when it means “never again to us alone.” My generation was raised being led to believe that the biblical land was a vast desert inhabited by a handful of impoverished Palestinians living with their camels and eking out a living in the sand. The arrival of the Jews was touted as a tremendous benefit to these desert dwellers. Golda Meir even assured us that there “is no Palestinian problem”.
We know now this picture wasn’t as it was painted. Palestine was a land filled with people who called it home. There were thriving towns and villages, schools and hospitals. There were Jews, Christians and Muslims.
In fact, prior to the occupation, Jews represented a mere seven per cent of the population and owned three per cent of the land.
Taking the blinders off for a moment, I see a second atrocity perpetuated by the very people who should be exquisitely sensitive to the suffering of others. These people knew what it felt like to be ordered out of your home at gun point and forced to march into the night to unknown destinations or face execution on the spot. The people who displaced the Palestinians knew first hand what it means to watch your home in flames, to surrender everything dear to your heart at a moment’s notice. Bulldozers levelled hundreds of villages, along with the remains of the village inhabitants, the old and the young. This was nothing new to the world.
Poland is a vast graveyard of the Jews of Europe. Israel is the final resting place of the massacred Palestinian people. A short distance from the memorial to the Jewish children lost to the holocaust in Europe there is a levelled parking lot. Under this parking lot is what’s left of a once flourishing village and the bodies of men, women and children whose only crime was taking up needed space and not leaving graciously. This particular burial marker reads: “Public Parking”.
I’ve talked with Palestinians. I have yet to meet a Palestinian who hasn’t lost a member of their family to the Israeli Shoah, nor a Palestinian who cannot name a relative or friend languishing under inhumane conditions in an Israeli prison. Time and time again, Israel is cited for human rights violations to no avail. On a recent trip to Israel, I visited the refugee camps inhabited by a people who have waited 52 years in these ‘temporary’ camps to go home. Every Palestinian grandparent can tell you the name of their village, their street, and where the olive trees were planted. Their grandchildren may never have been home, but they can tell you where their great-grandfather lies buried and where the village well stood. The press has fostered the portrait of the Palestinian terrorist. But the victims who rose up against human indignity in the Warsaw Ghetto are called heroes. Those who lost their lives are called martyrs. The Palestinian who tosses a rock in desperation is a terrorist.
Two years ago I drove through Palestine and watched intricate sprinkler systems watering lush green lawns of Zionist settlers in their new condominium complexes, surrounded by armed guards and barbed wire in the midst of a Palestinian community where there was not adequate water to drink and the surrounding fields were sandy and dry. University professor Moshe Zimmerman reported in the Jerusalem Post (30 April, 1995), “The [Jewish] children of Hebron are just like Hitler’s youth.”
We Jews are suing for restitution, lost wages, compensation for homes, land, slave labour and back wages in Europe. Am I a traitor of a Jew for supporting the right of return of the Palestinian refugees to their birthplace and compensation for what was taken that cannot be returned?
The Jewish dead cannot be brought back to life and neither can the Palestinian massacred be resurrected. David Ben Gurion said, “Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves…politically, we are the aggressors and they defend themselves…The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country…”.
Palestine is a land that has been occupied and emptied of its people. Its cultural and physical landmarks have been obliterated and replaced by tidy Hebrew signs. The history of a people was the first thing eradicated by the occupiers. The history of the indigenous people has been all but eradicated as though they never existed. And all this has been hailed by the world as a miraculous act of God. We must recognise that Israel’s existence is not even a question of legality so much as it is an illegal fait accompli realised through the use of force while supported by the Western powers. The UN missions directed at Israel in attempting to correct its violations of have thus far been futile.
In Hertzl’s ‘The Jewish State’ the father of Zionism said: “We must investigate and take possession of the new Jewish country by means of every modern expedient.” I guess I agree with Ehud Barak (3 June 1998) when he said, “If I were a Palestinian, I’d also join a terror group.” I’d go a step further perhaps. Rather than throwing little stones in desperation, I’d hurtle a boulder.
Hopefully, somewhere deep inside, every Jew of conscience knows that this was no war; that this was not G-d’s restitution of the holy land to it’s rightful owners. We know that a human atrocity was and continues to be perpetuated against an innocent people who couldn’t come up with the arms and money to defend themselves against the western powers bent upon their demise as a people.
We cannot continue to say, “But what were we to do?” Zionism is not synonymous with Judaism. I wholly support the rally of the right of return of the Palestinian people here.

December 19, 1947. Haganah terrorists attacked an Arab village near Safad, blowing up two houses, in the ruins of which were found the bodies of 10 Arabs, including 5 children. Haganah admitted responsibility for the attack.
December 29, 1947. Two British constables and 11 Arabs were killed and 32 Arabs injured, at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem when Irgun members threw a bomb from a taxi.
December 30,1947. A mixed force of the Zionist Palmach and the “Carmel Brigade” attacked the village of Balad al Sheikh, killing more than 60 Arabs.
1947 — 1948. Over 700,000 Palestinian Arabs were uprooted from their homes and land, and forced to live in refugee camps on Israel’s borders. They have been denied the right to return to their homes. They have been refused compensation for their homes, orchards, farms and other property stolen from them by the Israeli government. After their expulsion, the “Israeli Forces” totally obliterated (usually by bulldozing) 385 Arab villages and towns, out of a total of 475. Commonly, Israeli villages were built on the remaining rubble.
January 1, 1948. Haganah terrorists attacked a village on the slopes of Mount Carmel; 17 Arabs were killed and 33 wounded.
January 4, 1948. Haganah terrorists wearing British Army uniforms penetrated into the center of Jaffa and blew up the Serai (the old Turkish Government House) which was used as a headquarters of the Arab National Committee, killing more than 40 persons and wounding 98 others.
January 5, 1948. The Arab-owned Semiramis Hotel in Jerusalem was blown up, killing 20 persons, among them Viscount de Tapia, the Spanish Consul. Haganah admitted responsibility for this crime.
January 7, 1948. Seventeen Arabs were killed by a bomb at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, 3 of them while trying to escape. Further casualties, including the murder of a British officer near Hebron, were reported from different parts of the country.
January 16, 1948. Zionists blew up three Arab buildings. In the first, 8 children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years, died.
December 13, 1947 — February 10, 1948. Seven incidents of bomb-tossing at innocent Arab civilians in cafes and markets, killing 138 and wounding 271 others, During this period, there were 9 attacks on Arab buses. Zionists mined passenger trains on at least 4 occasions, killing 93 persons and wounding 161 others.

Heavy damage was done to the Arab-owned Salam building in Haifa (a 7 story block of apartments and shops) by Zionists who drove an army lorry ( truck) up to the building and escaped before the detonation of 400 Ib. of explosives; casualties numbered 11 Arabs and 3 Armenians killed and 23 injured. The Stern Gang claimed responsibility for the incident.
March 22, 1948. A housing block in Iraq Street in Haifa was blown up killing 17 and injuring 100 others. Four members of the Stern Gang drove two truck-loads of explosives into the street and abandoned the vehicles before the explosion.
March 31, 1948. The Cairo-Haifa Express was mined, for the second time in a month, by an electronically-detonated land mine near Benyamina, killing 40 persons and wounding 60 others.
April 9, 1948. A combined force of Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gang, supported by the Palmach forces, captured the Arab village of Deir Yassin and killed more than 200 unarmed civilians, including countless women and children. Older men and young women were captured and paraded in chains in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem; 20 of the hostages were then shot in the quarry of Gevaat Shaul.
April 16, 1948. Zionists attacked the former British army camp at Tel Litvinsky, killing 90 Arabs there.
April 19, 1948. Fourteen Arabs were killed in a house in Tiberias, which was blown up by Zionist terrorists.
May 3, 1948. A book bomb addressed to a British Army officer, who had been stationed in Palestine exploded, killing his brother, Rex Farran.
May11, 1948. A letter bomb addressed to Sir Evelyn Barker, former Commanding Officer in Palestine, was detected in the nick of time by his wife.
April 25, 1948 — May 13, 1948. Wholesale looting of Jaffa was carried out following armed attacks by Irgun and Haganah terrorists. They stripped and carried away everything they could, destroying what they could not take with them.
