Israeli Air Force Commander General Ido Nehushtan claims his forces are ready to follow any order to thwart Iran’s nuclear programs.
“The IAF is a very robust and flexible force … ready to do whatever is demanded,” the Nehushtan told German magazine Der Spiegel on Tuesday.
He added, however, a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities “is a political decision” and has nothing to do with Israel’s military capabilities.
Tel Aviv and Washington have repeatedly accused Tehran of pursuing a military nuclear program, a claim denied by the Islamic Republic. Israel has said it will not rule out any option to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear program, insisting that the use of military force is a legitimate option.

The Nehushtan interview coincides with recent remarks by former Israeli military general, Moshe Ya’alon, who said that Israeli armed forces have the ‘right capabilities’ to launch a successful strike against Iran.
Ya’alon also revealed the wider ambitions of the Israeli regime aimed at toppling the Iranian government.
“[A strike] is not the end of the game. Then, we should follow it up with a viable, sustainable military operation to target the facilities [serving] the regime’s interests, and not allow the regime to rehabilitate itself.”
Iranian military officials have warned Israeli and other foreign aggressors of the bitter consequences that would follow an attack against the nation.
The Commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Ataollah Salehi, noted Tuesday that Iran “will inflict a humiliating defeat on aggressors with our arrow of anger.”
“The superpowers should know that Iran is aware of the secrets of aggressive countries,” he added.
Asked whether Israel is capable of targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, which are spread across the country, Nehushtan replied, “I can only say this: It is not a technical or logistical question.”
“Modern technology is one thing, but the biggest advantage we have is our soldiers and officers. Israel is a small country. We neither have a big population nor natural resources. Our biggest asset is our human resources. And it is the air force that makes best use of it,” he said.
The threats against Iran’s nuclear program conflict with the latest report by the UN nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, which revealed that its inspectors have not found any ‘components of a nuclear weapon’ or ‘related nuclear physics studies’ in the country.

God promised Abraham that out of him would come a great nation. God is not going to let that nation be destroyed. In Jeremiah 31:35-37 God said something very important about the nation of Israel. If none of these three things happens, then the nation of Israel will never be destroyed and will never stop being a nation. Let’s see what these three things are:

2) The heavens must be measured (Jeremiah 31:37). God is saying, “If you want the nation of Israel to stop being a nation then you must be able to tell Me how many stars there are in My Universe.” Even if men build bigger and better telescopes, do you think they will ever be able to see all the stars in the universe? ______
3) The foundations of the earth must be searched out (Jeremiah 31:37). God is saying, “If you want the nation of Israel to stop being a nation then you must be able to dig a hole to the center of the earth.” Will man ever be able to do this? _______
God will not break these promises to Israel! If the enemies of Israel want to be successful, then they need to find some way to stop the sun from rising, they need to start building much better telescopes, and they need to get busy digging to the center of the earth! Didn’t I read a story on here the other day saying that Israel felt it was time for the U.S. to get involved in talks with Iran? I’m getting some mixed signals.
As for not getting any help from the U.S. if they go ahead and start dropping bombs, I wouldn’t count on that. For some reason that’s one country our government backs even though they’ve been ignoring U.N. sanctions and orders for years. Most countries on the planet see Israel for the little bully it is, but the American government seems to have blinders on.

Some good comments here. In these societies there are jews and iranians who do not hate each other. But they are going to die for no other reason than they were born in those respective countries. The U.S is finished. The answer to the question of how much liquidity can the central yankers pump into an economy is defined by how much foreign debt other countries/investors are willing to absorb.
The U.S will be beaten, its country and infrastructure destroyed. The flow of funds to Israel will stop. Israel will be defeated. Israel should have been building its economy, sadly it has not and will be unable to stand alone after US funds end. War is a huge cost on any nation, and its eventual destruction. What Nehushtan is really saying by this is that he expects direct US involvement either in the initial strike or in response to Iranian retaliation. In either case with nukes, of course.
