Israeli tanks expected in Gaza Strip as foreigners are allowed to flee

Israel is poised for a big ground offensive in the Gaza Strip after allowing hundreds of foreigners to leave the devastated territory.
The Times understands that Israeli troops and tanks will imminently be operating inside the area as part of large-scale operation to prevent Hamas from firing rockets into southern Israel.
One of the main thrusts of the attack could be the so-called Philadelphi Road that runs along Gaza’s border with Egypt, under which Hamas has smuggled arms, missiles and men through a network of tunnels. Israel controlled the border until its army withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005.

A week of airstrikes has killed at least 430 Palestinians and left scores of buildings as rubble, despite diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire. Hamas rocket attacks have killed four Israelis since the fighting began.
Despite the looming onslaught, the rocket squads fired yet more projectiles into southern Israel yesterday. Hamas vowed that its barrage, which has lasted for years and which finally provoked the Israeli campaign, would not stop. “I call on the resistance to continue pounding Jewish settlements and cities,” said Sheikh Abdelrahman al-Jamal at the funeral of Nizar Rayyan, a Hamas political leader killed, together with his four wives and 11 children, in an Israeli airstrike on his home. “We will remain on the path of jihad until the end of days.”
The funeral was held outdoors because an earlier air raid had smashed the mosque where the service had been due to take place. Israel said that the building had been used to stockpile weapons.
Among the mounting Palestinian death toll yesterday were three young brothers, aged 7 to 10, who were killed in one of the 30 or so strikes carried out by Israeli warplanes. All along the border, Israeli tanks and troops have turned fields into muddy, makeshift camps from which to launch their offensive. The Government has already mobilised more than 6,000 reserve troops and has given the green light to call up almost 3,000 more. Artillery barrages were also fired into the strip, while aircraft bombed the open ground that the hundreds of troops will need to cross, and where Hamas has placed mines and dug tunnels to outflank the invaders.
Support for Operation Cast Lead remains high in Israel, with polls showing that almost 85 per cent of the public back the campaign.
Hamas has an estimated 15,000 fighters who have used the 18 months that they have controlled the Gaza Strip to hone their skills in anticipation of open combat with Israel.

It seems to me that Israel was only created in 1947 as part of a long range plan to eventually takeover the entire middle east to control their oil for western GREED!
To support this theory, I must explain to you that the US Government is comprised of largely Israeli dual citizenship criminals that go far out of their way to ensure that Israel has EVERY item they could ever need to support their many war efforts.
If this were not true, the US would not be the MAJOR supporter of the criminal killers in Israel and Israel would not be the major controller of American politics aimed at giving “Unconditional and Unwavering” support in every war Israel has EVER waged against their lightly armed enemies.

re – If you know about a crime being committed and do nothing about it, you are NOT responsible for it
as an example – if a teacher or doctor is aware of a child being abused and do not report it to the police, they are charged with not reporting the crime. charged as guilty, just the same as the abuser. the abuser gets charged AND the doctor or teacher gets charged.
so, if you sit idly by for child abuse and get charged, then you are as quilty as the perpetrator.
it must it help you sleep at night thinking you can just sit and eat your twinkies, thinking you do not have to stand and be counted, intervene in a crime or help a fellow man. if that is america of today, then sadly none of you will be spared the rewards coming your way.

Non-Muslims in Islamic countries are not allowed to say that they are not Muslim because if they do that publicly, then they would be punished, and as you said they are very reasonable people because they are not Muslim. Read my comments about “generalizing.” If you ask them what their religion is, they would usually say that they are non-practicing Muslims. Your comment about a teacher being responsible for reporting Child abuse is correct because a teacher is paid to also be responsible for his/her students. The students fall under her juristiction. On the other hand, if you are in public, and a crime is committed on the other side of the street and you don’t help the victim, I would lose my respect for you a little, but you haven’t committed a crime. You are not responsible for someone that you don’t even know, but it is very nice to help people who need it. There is a big difference between a right and a privileage. You are not responsible for the awful problems that exist in the world unless you are contributing to the problems that exist. Even then, you are only responsible to the degree that you are contributing (out of free will) to the problem. If you don’t pay your taxes you will go to jail, but if you don’t pay tithing nothing will happen to you. I’m trying to teach you reason and logic from a sociological standpoint.

It’s Time We Were Frank About “Palestine”
Both the Jews and the Arabs were set up for war by the Rothschild-controlled British Mandate. In that sense, the “Palestinian” people are innocent.
But their claims to antiquity in Israel are utterly false and the truth must be known.
We must build peace on truth and it is simply not true that there was a “Palestinian” culture in Israel from antiquity.
Did you know that the word “Palestine” comes from the Semitic radical p-l-s or f-l-s or p-l-sh, or f-l-sh which means invader, squatter, intruder? That’s what the “Palestinians” call themselves: invaders, squatters, intruders.
Here are some quotes about “Palestine”. I invite you all to vet the quotes for yourselves:
In 1738 Thomas Shaw observed a land of “barrenness…. from want of inhabitants.”
In 1785 Constantine Francois de Volney recorded the population of the three main cities: Jerusalem had a population of 12,000 to 14,000; Bethlehem had about 600 able-bodied men; and Hebron had 800 to 900 men (Note: The majority of both the Jerusalem and Hebron populations were Jews).
In 1835 Alphonse de Lamartine wrote, “Outside the city of Jerusalem, we saw no living object, heard no living sound. . .a complete eternal silence reigns in the town, in the highways, in the country . . . The tomb of a whole people.”
In 1857, the British consul in Palestine, James Finn, reported, “The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population.”
Mark Twain, who visited Israel in 1867, described it in “Innocents Abroad” as: “…a desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds – a silent mournful expanse… A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action… We never saw a human being on the whole route…There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”
In 1874, Reverend Samuel Manning wrote: “But where were the inhabitants? This fertile plain, which might support an immense population, is almost a solitude…. Day by day we were to learn afresh the lesson now forced upon us, that the denunciations of ancient prophecy have been fulfilled to the very letter — `the land is left void and desolate and without inhabitants.’”
As late as 1880, the American consul in Jerusalem reported the area was continuing its historic decline. “The population and wealth of Palestine has not increased during the last forty years,” he said.
The report of the Palestine Royal Commission quotes an account of the Maritime Plan in 1913:
“The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts…no orange groves, orchards, or vineyards were to be seen until one reached (the Jewish village of) Yabna (Yavne)… Houses were all of mud. No windows were anywhere to be seen… The ploughs used were of wood… The yields were very poor… The sanitary conditions in the village were horrible. Schools did not exist… The western part, towards the sea, was almost a desert… The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many ruins of villages were scattered over the area, as owing to the prevalence of malaria and many villages were deserted by their inhabitants.”
Lewis French, the British Director of Development in the 1930s, wrote of Israel:
“We found it inhabited by fellahin who lived in mud hovels and suffered severely from the prevalent malaria… Large areas…were uncultivated… The fellahin, if not themselves cattle thieves, were always ready to harbor these and other criminals. The individual plots…changed hands annually. There was little public security, and the fellahin’s lot was an alternation of pillage and blackmail by their neighbors, the Bedouin.”
These quotes give an unbroken picture of a land unused, unloved and virtually uninhabited for a span of 200 years. It only became “home” to the so-called Palestinians after Jordan lost the West Bank & Jerusalem and Egypt lost the Gaza Strip to Israel in 1967, in a war that those states prepared for and advertised their intent of “driving the Jews into the sea”. Strangely enough, while Egypt and Jordan occupied them, they were never called “occupied territories”.
Let’s see what Joseph Farrah, the Arab-American journalist, editor and CEO of WorldNetDaily has to say:

When the first congress of Muslim-Christian associations met in Jerusalem in February 1919 to choose “Palestinian” representatives for the Paris Peace Conference, the following resolution was adopted: “We consider ‘Palestine’ as part of Arab Syria, as it has never been separated from it at any time. We are connected with it by national, religious, linguistic, natural, economic, and geographical bonds.”
In 1937, a local Arab leader, Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, told the Peel Commission, which ultimately suggested the partition of Israel: “There is no such country! ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria.”
In 1946, Princeton’s Arab professor of Middle East history, Philip Hitti, told the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry: “It’s common knowledge, there is no such thing as Palestine in history.”
The representative of the Arab Higher Committee to the United Nations submitted a statement to the general assembly in May 1947 that said “‘Palestine’ was part of the province of Syria” and that, “politically, the Arabs of Israel were not independent in the sense of forming a separate political entity.”
On May 31, 1956, Ahmed Shukairy had no hesitation, as current head of the Palestine Liberation Organization, in announcing to the Security Council the observation, “It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria.”
Syrian President Hafez Assad told Yasser Arafat on March 8, 1974, “You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian People, there is no Palestinian entity; there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people. Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people.”
In March 1977, Zahir Muhsein, an executive member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), said in an interview to the Dutch newspaper Trouw: “The ‘Palestinian people’ does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel.”
So, you see, by your own admission, there never was a “Palestinian people”, just the descendants of the invaders, squatters and intruders that were brought into Israel by the British Mandate.
There is no archaeological evidence for Palestinians cities. It cannot be said that Israel destroyed any such evidence because the archaeological teams are always international.
There is no specifically Palestinian Arabic.
There is no specifically Palestinian culture.
By the admission of the people who call themselves invaders, squatters, intruders there never was a “Palestinian” people prior to the British Mandate. It was during that time that the Rothschild family put pressure on the French government, which controlled the Arab areas around Israel to flood Israel with Arabs, thus upsetting the delicate demographic balance and setting the Jews and Arabs up for war.

if you did you’d realize that every culture is fucked up and no one is better than anyone else. I’m just going off your comment and it seems to me you believe that christians have better values than muslims. But in reality thats bullshit and niether of the two should be bragging. I went to an Islamic nation to visit and they took my computer at the airport and said that they need to check to make sure that there is no sexy pictures on it. It took them forever to check, and they never gave it back to me even when I was returning to America. My computer was worth $2500, and they stole it. This is the TRUTH. None of the things that I said in my previous emails were lies. Their fingers should be cut off because they stole my computer. I’m judging these Islamic hypocrites based on their own standards. If I steal a penny from them, then they would cut my finger, but what happens when they steal my computer? Nothing. Do you know what the word hypocrite means? Your comments about marriage and relationships are wrong too. What is marriage? The difference between marriage and a casual relationship is a matter of juristiction and it is up to the individual to decide. Do you know what the word juristiction means? My relationship and what I do with my personal life is my business. If I want to get married, then that is OK too. I’m not anybody’s slave. If a Muslim believes that a man and a woman who are in a relationship need his permission to be in that relationship by getting a license from him called marriage or else they should be flogged, then don’t they deserve what they are getting? I have always respected the rights of Muslims my whole life, but I have learned by sad experience that the treatment is not neutral, so how do I defend myself against them. Explain to me how to defend myself against a bunch of Islamic hypocrites who are not letting me just be and go about living my life. Perhaps what the world ought to consider is formally not recognizing Israel as an independent country, afterall, they only exist because they were illegally created by Britain, the US and deceptive Zionists who basically tricked and bankrupted the world and have failed to render good faith towards the true inhabitants of Palestine–the Palestinians.
