JCS, European Military Leaders Descend On Upstate New York

It was a small news item tucked in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise over the weekend. “Powerful generals and admirals from some of the most powerful nations on Earth are reportedly meeting somewhere in the local area this weekend after flying into the Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Clear on Friday,” Peter Crowley wrote on Saturday.
The visitors consisted of the JCS, the Joint Chiefs and “their counterparts from France, Germany and another country, possibly Great Britain, according to Barry DeFuria, a town of Harrietstown councilman and Airport Committee member who was there when the plane landed.”
Town Supervisor Larry Miller, also on the Airport Committee, was also there and confirmed which nations’ officials were on which planes, but he said he did not know what kind of officials they were or where they were going from the airport. He said he and DeFuria had to get security clearances to be present and that soldiers were guarding the 757 around the clock at the airport.
Crowley and the Adirondack Daily Enterprise did not speculate as to why the top U.S. brass and their counterparts from Europe were visiting a backwater in upstate New York.
“It is not known for what purpose the military leaders were meeting, or why they were meeting in a relatively remote spot. The Lake Clear Airport has only one carrier with daily flights, and most flights are small private planes,” reports Short News.

The timing of this meeting is highly suspect considering members of the EU met last week to set off alarm bells over the global financial crisis. Sarkozy and and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso met with Bush at Camp David to discuss a meeting with the Group of Eight to be held at the UN secretariat in New York, possibly in December.
Recall the Army Times reporting last month that the 1st Brigade, 3rd ID will be used as of October 1 for, “civil unrest and crowd control” in the United States, under the control of the Northern Command. The brigade consists of approximately 4,000 Iraq battle hardened mechanized forces plus numerous support elements.
Recall as well Rep. Brad Sherman stating on the floor of the House that if the banker bailout bill was not passed martial law would be declared in America. In response, a terrified and spineless Congress passed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, providing the Treasury with unprecedented powers of secrecy and immunity to dole out the wealth of the United States to a criminal cabal of private international bankers.
In order to “suppress public disorder,” the John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007, under Section 333, allows the president to station military troops anywhere in the United States and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities.
On September 19, 2006, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) noted that 2007’s Defense Authorization Act contained a “widely opposed provision to allow the President more control over the National Guard [adopting] changes to the Insurrection Act, which will make it easier for this or any future President to use the military to restore domestic order without the consent of the nation’s governors…. Using the military for law enforcement goes against one of the founding tenets of our democracy. We fail our Constitution, neglecting the rights of the States, when we make it easier for the President to declare martial law and trample on local and state sovereignty.”
The following year, Bush issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure “continuity of government” in the event of a “catastrophic emergency.” COG could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution, Lewis Seiler and Dan Hamburg noted in the San Francisco Chronicle earlier this year. “What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?”
How about the engineered destruction of the global economy? In 2000, well before the current “crisis,” the CFR “war-gamed” just such a scenario. “The simulation confirms that… the highest levels of the financier oligarchy are making preparations for something that may be quite different than unlimited prosperity,” Richard Freeman wrote at the time.
Finally, as noted yesterday, Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden, delivered a cryptic speech last week indicating that some event next year may result in Obama, if elected, taking widely unpopular political steps. Biden mentioned the economy, stating that “this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”
Is it possible the top brass from the U.S. and Europe met to formulate a martial law contingency plan in response to the rapidly deteriorating economy? An increasing number of economists are now reporting the coming economic crash will rival the Great Depression.
Or is it possible this is much ado about nothing and top drawer military brass flew into New York at taxpayer expense on a Boeing 757 to catch up on their fishing?

good article, at first when reading the headline, i thought they were meeting over iran, but nimo is probably right in adressing the riot quenching-probably martial law stuff. it’s probably going to be global marshal law !!!!!!!

At this point in history, we are in the early phase of a protracted paradigm shift. That event in 2001 was a forewarning, a shot across the bow. Where prior to now those epousing epical “grand design” were denounced as Conspiracy theorists. Yes because the underlying truth is, it is a conspiracy against mankind. The propaganda war waged and partially defeated is unnecessary, since large stides are currently outpacing the collective analytical and dissemination defensive strategy by the underground. Those in the know on both sides are taking defensive positions, cash withdrawals and gold purchases. Where this leads us to is slavery in various forms. A military presence has been confirmed and is now eager to block a collective reaction by patriots on both sides of the spectrum. Anyone claiming there´s nothing to be concerned about are change agents whose objective is to pacify any potential resistance, albeit passive or military. I would wager that the military in itself is unwilling and concerned since the population is being conditioned to view it as the enemy. Is that true or merely a false claim. The military although under the control of Bush or Obama will not fire upon the people. That would negate their oath to the constitution, they will likely choose sides and a civil war will erupt with some units refusing to follow orders while others aligned with NWO, mercenaries from overseas, will engage against us as in NOLA.

This reminds me of the Mafia “Committee” meeting back in the late fifties that took place
in upstate New York as well. It seems both of these meetings were for the same purpose:
making plans to solidify their control of their “spheres of influence”. Blackmail by nuke
is one scenario. Another that I’ve have heard is the devaluing of the dollar by 90%.

I’m curious as to where the State Militias are. Of course if this is as far along as U.S. troops deployed on the streets, I don’t expect any news from them. I would guess that they’re doing their Duty, and probably on high alert. Godspeed to all Free Human Beings.

The US admiral Mike Mullen and his Russian counterpart general Nikolai Makarov met today tuesday outside Helsinki.
According to the few news leaked about the meeting, the agenda was Georgia and healing wounds. The atmosphere was said to be good in the meeting and both Both the Russian and US embassies were remarkably quiet about the meeting, not wanting to comment on it.
