Ron Paul supporters may have found a new champion.
In boisterous remarks at today’s Rally for the Republic, former Minnesota governor and professional wrestling personality Jesse Ventura suggested that he is open to a presidential run in 2012 if enthusiasm for “The Revolution” stays strong.
“If I see it over the next two to three years,” thundered Ventura at the conclusion of a speech to several thousand Ron Paul supporters in the Target Center in Minneapolis. “If I see it start to rise up and if this country shows me that it’s worth it for me, then maybe in 2012… .”
The crowd — which has raucously booed allusions to this year’s presidential candidates and cheered Paul’s hands-off ideals at the all-day rally today — burst into deafening applause at Ventura’s suggestion.

“I will be watching,” Ventura shouted over the ruckus. “If I see it, in 2012, we’ll give them a race they’ll never forget.”
Ventura’s prediction came at the end of remarks in which he questioned the U.S. government’s involvement in a 9/11 plot, lambasted the Patriot Act, and advocated for gun rights so that “if our government gets out of control, we have the ability to rise up and change it.” (He also prophesied success if such a citizen uprising against the U.S. government were to occur, saying “We threw everything we had at Vietnam, and they withstood it all.”)
Ventura, a third party candidate who unexpectedly catapulted to victory in the 1998 gubernatorial election, hopes to be a political figure in the mold of Rep. Ron Paul, whose grassroots movement garnered surprising support during the primary season.
The former Minnesota governor toyed with a run for U.S. Senate this year but chose not to at the eleventh hour; before his remarks today, he told reporters backstage that he made that decision by coin toss.
“I wrote the book “Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me,” Ventura told fans today, shortly before declaring his possible run in four years.
“Well, I’m here.”
Barr in attendance
For what it’s worth, per Steve Sinton, communications director for Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr, Barr was in the crowd this morning at the Ron Paul’s Rally for the Republic. He has left the building and will not be speaking.
That — says another spokesman for Barr — is at the request of the Paul campaign, who didn’t want “any presidential candidates” on the podium today.
Paul’s not endorsing Barr but this morning lauded the Libertarian candidate’s ideals and called him a “good spokesman.”

If that happens I’ll become Jesus in 2012 too! He doesn’t want to run for senator because the people are stupid and it’s a hopeless situation yet, there’s a chance that he’ll leave his surfing and sun in Mexico and come back here in 2012 to run? No one sees a problem logically with this? Why there had to be an article on something like this that will never happen I don’t know, but it makes no sense to get peoples hopes up about something that will never happen and quite frankly this country would be lucky to last till 2012 anyway.

yeah i would think will all the talk and revelations about 2012, was just jesse way of saying the war will start soon, so be ready for the fight until 2012 where then it will be better….smart to get out of usa and fight from the outside, he doesn’t want to be hunted down before anything happens without him

Wont ever be free elections in USA again; and for that matter the only hope we have had since mckinley is that the nwo cantidate would turn his back on his masters; expose them and then promptly take a bullet for doing so , not that I see Jesus coming ,although It seems a good time, right now, the way things are going. I believe that Cheney and the criminal NWO mafia are too much in the open to slip back behind their shelter doors, they know we will come for them in the night someday, if they dont come for all of us first. So imho forget your dreams of voting ourselves back a representative republic. We will have to pay the same price if not higher than our forefathers. We waited too long.

9/11 and the BushCo/Cheney/NeoCon two year scramble to assemble a cover story that has more holes in it than a slab of Swiss cheese, was rightly put front-and-center once again before the American people by Jesse. Jesse would be like an Andrew Jackson that would kick ass and take names, defending the Constitution against enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.
And of course Jackson’s second term was predicated on his oath to rid us of the Second Bank of the United States, the Federal Reserve of it’s day. Do these reason he gave ring true even today:
“It concentrated the nation’s financial strength in a single institution.
It exposed the government to control by foreign interests.
It served mainly to make the rich richer.
It exercised too much control over members of Congress.”

would of should of could of. There no guarantee of tommorrow, if the truth movement is serious it needs to do something NOW. As it stands the “Truth Movement” are simply punching bags for the stormtrooper police officers.

well marcus falling of your chair is one thing but to laugh at the whole 2012 thing i wouldent be so sure freind even nasa is all talk about the great rift the galtic gravatational alingment and the berlin codex used bye the aztects mians olmecs matters not who you think desinged it what does matter though is its correct to the tenth degree about a great many space events as foretold past dates and future dates still relavent ? to real time events so they also tell us of four previous ends to the world bye water and this one is researved for fire ? i dont think end is a fair word some will no doubt get bye but four events? and lo and behold geologists to this day report 4 previous mass exstintions 93% marine and mamal exstintion and dec 21 st 2012 the start of the winter solstice should reveal something im sure not to mention are own stars predicted maxis perturber around 2012 so get back on your chair sir and do some homework ok : )

By 2012 it will be too late. If I were a top Neocon, the world would already be mine. I don’t think they will wait too much longer.
Don’t forget that they could easily already have the whole world. But they don’t, so that shows some level of incompetence.
It is so hard how to think, I mean I am a moral person. Good empathy. But when I see so many of my fellow human beings following being utter dickheads. Maybe we(as a whole) deserve to be slaves.
What does everyone else think.
