Former Governor Jesse Ventura talks with Alex Jones about his upcoming truTV show ‘Conspiracy Theories’ and his take on current events.
In the first part of this interview, Ventura discusses the controversial awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama, which he suggests lost its luster back in the 70s when now-advisor-to-Obama Henry Kissinger won the prize amidst his secret bombing campaign against Cambodia and the escalating war in Vietnam. Truly War is now ‘Peace.’

Ventura also says he would have ended the wars and bring all the troops home from around the world, instead of mulling over a troop increase in Afghanistan (and meanwhile bombing Pakistan).

Why neither Obama, McCain or any other figure from the Two Parties can never deliver good government or peace, Ventura says, is because both sides serve– systematically– their PARTY and never our country.
IN PART TWO of the interview, Jesse and Alex discuss Obama’s falling poll numbers, something Ventura points out he experienced as Governor of Minnesota, but wasn’t too bothered by- a function, he believes, of widespread dissatisfaction with single issues, and general partisanship.
Ventura criticizes the Republican National Convention in Minnesota during the 2008 election cycle which, much like the DNC in Denver, put in place a ‘martial law’-like police state, including storm troopers and razor wire to control dissent, and forcing attendees to go through massive security just to attend the event.
By contrast, the vastly successful ‘Rally for the Republic’ counter-convention held by Ron Paul– at which Ventura also spoke– had no more security than would an everyday basketball game. That freedom went hand in hand with the open and free talk that took place from figures Ventura says can actually be honest with the American people (unlike those in the major parties).
Jesse Ventura also blasted the 9/11 Commission Report which he compared to the Warren Commission Report which likewise sought to cover-up the truth of what happened. At some point, Ventura says, the Government decided that the people would NOT hear the truth about 9/11. He points out that Jonathan Farmer, lawyer for the 9/11 Commission, has come out warning that the truth was not told and must be known.
Dissent, Ventura warns in the spirit of the Founding Fathers, is the greatest form of patriotism. We must hold our elected officials ‘feet to the fire’ or else bad government is sure to be the result.

I have an urgent message for you, more important than any message you can hear. God is Holy and cannot accept sin(honor thy mother and father…, thou shall not kill, thou shall not commit adultery, thou shall not steal, thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor, thou shall not covet..etc…Exodus 20:12-17). But God has provided a way for each to escape the lake of fire. He sent his Son Jesus(God manifest in the flesh-1 Timothy 3:16) who was conceived by a virgin by the Holy Spirit of God,lived a sinless life, and suffered a horrible death/shed blood and rose again 3 days later to take the penalty of YOUR sins so you dont have to pay for them in hell for eternity! He loved you so much which is why he did it! He is the only one to have fufilled the law perfectly(sinless) and paid the price of the entire world’s sins so that man could be saved on the merits of His perfection(see Romans 5:19). All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust in Him to save you as a sinner). You must admit your lost sinful condition to Him/that you’re worthy of hell, and ask Him to save you by placing complete trust in Jesus ALONE for salvation(an example in the Word of someone doing this- “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:13).It is not even partly by yourselves that you can be saved, but only by the merits of Jesus Christ!

No works or anything you do can save you! May God open your eyes, that one day I may see you in heaven. Read the Word of God(the 1611 King James version- NOT the modern versions, they are corrupt) before rejecting it! Death is fleeting. You may NOT have tomorrow! For death comes when we least expect it! Make sure you are saved TODAY! The Bible condemns the rich, the wealthy, and those who take advantage of the poor, so it CANNOT have been made up by the elite. Because the Word clearly CONDEMNS people such as those! It declares all mankind as sinners(myself included).

A good case study can be the history of American Express and its Bankingh subsidiary. Back in the late 70s they fired the Banking division president Dick Bliss and a bunch like the Neo Cons of today took over the banking, follwed by a spree of buying and acquistions of Investment banks like Shearson, Lemon Brothers and E. F. Haton. The field managers in all the 88 countries were instructed to replace quality of service with quantity of profit at the cost of ETHICS. Then in next 15 years they lost their entire commercial banking operaqtion in all the 88 countries. Needless to say, the Commercial Banking arm of AMEX had produced a number of very sound bankers in the 50s thru 70s and then came the decline. Even though AMEX is still in operation, but they no longer are a player in Banking sector. Being pionier in Credit card business they can not compete with Visa and Master Card. Even their Travelers Cheque business also lost to other banks.

If you have watched Predator you will notice that Jesse Ventura comes across as the ultimate right winger, solving problems with a big gun. I am surprised that someone like him, whose names is actually known, has suggested there is something wrong with the 9/11 Commission. Very few public figures have suggested that the US government is covering up the events of 9/11. If it a cover-up, it was not the slickest on record. I think something else happened on that day, and there is no explanation that will cover it all. I feel sorry for all those innocent folks who were bombed as a result of the War on Terror. Criticizing Jesse Ventura for speaking out in order to win a popularity contest is an interesting concept – but I wonder how you factor in the ‘unpopular speech’ he is engaging in – speaking honestly in the corporate media – and in public – has been bad for “show-biz” careers to begin with – but Jesse Ventura is a demonstrated patriot as well as having had a career in show business. How do we know that if elected vice-president, he wouldn’t get bored again, and not spend the time and expend the energy necessary to back up the president, Ron Paul, and interact with the American people, with our warts and all?
