The fathers of our country who developed the ideas of this great nation warned us about these dangers. We have not listened to there advice and if we do not do something soon it will be lost. Everybody has to stop playing these partisan games and worry about being AMERICANS. Who cares what Jim Rogers says. You listen to it, asses it, and move on. We have all the information we need and it is called the constitution and our own brains. So we should stop arguing on this website and do something about it.

Here are some things that should be done to bring immediate relief:
1) Return Glass-Steagall and anti-usury laws in the books.
2) Ban derivative trading with borrowed money.
3) Let the banks fail and be acquired by smaller players (here I agree with Jim). Do NOT nationalize and do NOT bail out anybody. Bailouts only make things worse.

A lot of people agree with the last point – it is popular. So Jim is saying nothing new. But there is a lot more and it has to do with properly regulating the banks (including the Fed). Abolishing the Fed without proper regulation will be disastrous.

You are very right on the intend. But the people you mentioned aren’t enough. Alex is a good journalist but he is only a journalist, Jim is a fraud, Ron Paul and Schiff don’t quite grok economics and chase disastrous “yellow brick” fantasies. “Austrian economics” ? – give me a break. The search for true leaders must continue, keep looking!!!

Of course he is a traitor. I have absolutely no problem with him living abroad and liking the boots of his Chinese masters. Jim is a sensationalist and lacks understanding of economics. There is no economic reason whatsoever for the standard of living to decrease. Productivity marches on, one way or another. There was no economic “excess” over the past 15 years. There was only excessive banking parasitism and wholesale betrayal of the American industry – it was exported on US taxpayer’s dime. Don’t expect your house or land or money to be worth much if you country produces nothing better then the rest of the pack. Research on Glass-Steagall and deregulation of derivatives if you want to know how financial crime was legalized in this country. Everyone knows that the Federal Reserve and IMF are corrupt. The reason for it is not “excess” – its corrupt regulation and regulators. There is no economic cure for political corruption. Jim Rogers has his investments abroad and stands to profit from the fall of America. His talk is only aimed at pleasing his Chinese masters. Traitor.

Well, Zionist might be a cause, or a contributor, no doubt in that… at least on my part…
The thing is, Alex can’t concentrate on a whole lot of speculative bullshit, he has to try and report the news. Just like all the religious people here, want him to declare the *end times* and other such things… the message gets lost when you start bringing in Religion and fear mongering… so he is trying to take the thin narrow path, and publish what he knows to be truth, and to avoid some subjects that are too fringe, to be real news… unless they present themselves as actual fact.

Hell, I doubt I could do as good of a job filtering all the crap out there, into 3 or 4 news topics a day that would be actual, provable fact.

Alex is doing what he can, to keep the site a NEWS site, not a you must hate all Zionist, wear a weird pointy White Hat and Robe, and prepare for the end times with tin foil on your head to keep the government from listening to your thoughts kind of site.
