Congressman Dennis Kucinich will this Friday present his single article of impeachment concerning the Bush administration’s deliberate and unconstitutional lies that led us to war in Iraq, putting him in tandem with the majority of the American people, yet in the cross hairs of both Neo-Cons and Democrats who have tried to block his efforts at every turn.
Kucinich should be commended for his brave and restless pursuit of impeachment. Whether Bush had a few months left in office or a few years doesn’t matter one iota – the Congressman’s efforts are aimed squarely at ensuring Bush rightly goes down in history as the most flagrantly criminal and anti-American president in history, while also making sure that a repeat of the debacle we have witnessed over the past eight years is not allowed to happen again.
In a preamble posted on You Tube, Kucinich explains the foundation of his single article of impeachment, the deliberate behind-closed doors scheming and lies that were told in anticipation of the pre-planned invasion of Iraq, while the charade of UN weapons inspectors and diplomacy played out in public.

Democrat elitists like Pelosi and Conyers are desperately trying to downplay Kucinich’s efforts and insist that impeachment is “off the table”.
When Kucinich spent four hours in June reading 35 articles of impeachment and demanding hearings, the Democrat controlled House almost instantly dispatched them for burial to the Judiciary Committee.
According to an Associated Press report, when Kucinich tried to introduce similar articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney last November, “Republicans, seeing a chance to force Democrats into an embarrassing debate, voted to bring up the resolution. Democrats countered by pushing through a motion to scuttle the bill from the floor.”
The bullshit they are trying to make us swallow is that Democrats are shunning Kucinich because they think a debate about impeachment would harm their chances of winning the presidency.
In reality, as far back as November 2005, polls showed that the majority of Americans supported impeachment on the basis of Bush lying about the invasion of Iraq, which is specifically what Kucinich’s single article of impeachment that he will present on Friday addresses.
Likewise, latest polls show that almost 70% of Americans oppose the war in Iraq, with anti-war sentiment swelling the longer the occupation drags on.
Support for a withdrawal from Iraq and the impeachment of George W. Bush is wildly popular with the majority of the electorate that will vote in November, so why are top Democrats doing everything in their power to prevent Kucinich from drawing attention to the matter?
Because they are nothing more than political whores for the same power structure served by the Neo-Cons, and want to advance the same agenda of pax-Americana, imperial bloodletting and domination demanded by the new world order and the Israeli AIPAC lobby, to which Pelosi and Conyers have pledged their full subservience.

CREATING A SECRET PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN TO MANUFACTURE A FALSE CASE FOR WAR AGAINST IRAQ
In his conduct while President of the United States, George W. Bush, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution “to take care that the laws be faithfully executed”, has both personally and acting through his agents and subordinates, together with the Vice President, illegally spent public dollars on a secret propaganda program to manufacture a false cause for war against Iraq.
The Department of Defense (DOD) has engaged in a years-long secret domestic propaganda campaign to promote the invasion and occupation of Iraq. This secret program was defended by the White House Press Secretary following its exposure. This program follows the pattern of crimes detailed in Article I, II, IV and VIII.. The mission of this program placed it within the field controlled by the White House Iraq Group (WHIG), a White House task-force formed in August 2002 to market an invasion of Iraq to the American people. The group included Karl Rove, I. Lewis Libby, Condoleezza Rice, Karen Hughes, Mary Matalin, Stephen Hadley, Nicholas E. Calio, and James R. Wilkinson.
The WHIG produced white papers detailing so-called intelligence of Iraq’s nuclear threat that later proved to be false. This supposed intelligence included the claim that Iraq had sought uranium from Niger as well as the claim that the high strength aluminum tubes Iraq purchased from China were to be used for the sole purpose of building centrifuges to enrich uranium. Unlike the National Intelligence Estimate of 2002, the WHIG’s white papers provided “gripping images and stories” and used “literary license” with intelligence. The WHIG’s white papers were written at the same time and by the same people as speeches and talking points prepared for President Bush and some of his top officials.
The WHIG also organized a media blitz in which, between September 7-8, 2002, President Bush and his top advisers appeared on numerous interviews and all provided similarly gripping images about the possibility of nuclear attack by Iraq. The timing was no coincidence, as Andrew Card explained in an interview regarding waiting until after Labor Day to try to sell the American people on military action against Iraq, “From a marketing point of view, you don’t introduce new products in August.”
September 7-8, 2002:
NBC’s “Meet the Press: Vice President Cheney accused Saddam of moving aggressively to develop nuclear weapons over the past 14 months to add to his stockpile of chemical and biological arms. CNN: Then-National Security Adviser Rice said, regarding the likelihood of Iraq obtaining a nuclear weapon, “We don’t want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud.”
CBS: President Bush declared that Saddam was “six months away from developing a weapon,” and cited satellite photos of construction in Iraq where weapons inspectors once visited as evidence that Saddam was trying to develop nuclear arms.
The Pentagon military analyst propaganda program was revealed in an April 20, 2002, New York Times article. The program illegally involved “covert attempts to mold opinion through the undisclosed use of third parties.” Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld recruited 75 retired military officers and gave them talking points to deliver on Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC, and according to the New York Times report, which has not been disputed by the Pentagon or the White House, “Participants were instructed not to quote their briefers directly or otherwise describe their contacts with the Pentagon.”
According to the Pentagon’s own internal documents, the military analysts were considered “message force multipliers” or “surrogates” who would deliver administration “themes and messages” to millions of Americans “in the form of their own opinions.” In fact, they did deliver the themes and the messages but did not reveal that the Pentagon had provided them with their talking points. Robert S. Bevelacqua, a retired Green Beret and Fox News military analyst described this as follows: “It was them saying, ‘We need to stick our hands up your back and move your mouth for you.’”
Congress has restricted annual appropriations bills since 1951 with this language: “No part of any appropriation contained in this or any other Act shall be used for publicity or propaganda purposes within the United States not heretofore authorized by the Congress.”
A March 21, 2005, report by the Congressional Research Service states that “publicity or propaganda is defined by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) to mean either (1) selfaggrandizement by public officials, (2) purely partisan activity, or (3) “covert propaganda.”
These concerns about “covert propaganda” were also the basis for the GAO’s standard for determining when government-funded video news releases are illegal:
“The failure of an agency to identify itself as the source of a prepackaged news story misleads the viewing public by encouraging the viewing audience to believe that the broadcasting news organization developed the information. The prepackaged news stories are purposefully designed to be indistinguishable from news segments broadcast to the public. When the television viewing public does not know that the stories they watched on television news programs about the government were in fact prepared by the government, the stories are, in this sense, no longer purely factual — the essential fact of attribution is missing.”
The White House’s own Office of Legal Council stated in a memorandum written in 2005 following the controversy over the Armstrong Williams scandal: “Over the years, GAO has interpreted ‘publicity or propaganda’ restrictions to preclude use of appropriated funds for, among other things, so-called ‘covert propaganda.’ … Consistent with that view, the OLC determined in 1988 that a statutory prohibition on using appropriated funds for ‘publicity or propaganda’ precluded undisclosed agency funding of advocacy by third-party groups. We stated that ‘covert attempts to mold opinion through the undisclosed use of third parties’ would run afoul of restrictions on using appropriated funds for ‘propaganda.’”
Asked about the Pentagon’s propaganda program at White House press briefing in April 2008, White House Press Secretary Dana Perino defended it, not by arguing that it was legal but by suggesting that it “should” be: “Look, I didn’t know look, I think that you guys should take a step back and look at this look, DOD has made a decision, they’ve decided to stop this program. But I would say that one of the things that we try to do in the administration is get information out to a variety of people so that everybody else can call them and ask their opinion about something. And I don’t think that that should be against the law. And I think that it’s absolutely appropriate to provide information to people who are seeking it and are going to be providing their opinions on it. It doesn’t necessarily mean that all of those military analysts ever agreed with the administration. I think you can go back and look and think that a lot of their analysis was pretty tough on the administration. That doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t talk to
people.”
In all of these actions and decisions, President George W. Bush has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and Commander in Chief, and subversive of constitutional government, to the prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.
Wherefore, President George W. Bush, by such conduct, is guilty of an impeachable offense warranting removal from office.

Kucinich, Wexler and Paul are among the few brave enough to stand up to the Beast. The rest of those cowards don’t want to get on the government’s special mailing list. You remember right? How they got the “Patriot” act passed. The army mailed a couple letters and solved that pesky opposition to destroying the constitution. When the crime went “unsolved” that was a message sent to every member of congress, don’t mess with the secret government, just keep the illusion of power to the people going. If you don’t, you’ll be on the mailing list, too! Pelosi has sold her soul.

Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul and a handful of other true patriots will not rest untill Bush has been Impeached. If I lived in the states I would show up at the hearing at Friday, and show my support and respect for Dennis and his restless effort to bring down the tyranny.

Kucinich is obviulsy right but is it too late to actually impeach Bush? I’m glad a handful of Republicans in addition to Ron Paul have a conscience. Of note is Walter Jones of NC. Hopefully the rule of law will win over the rule of politics. At the very least if the impeachment fails to reach a full vote by Congress Pelosi hopefully will be exposed for the prostitute she is.

I don’t appreciate Kucunich’s “threat” to come back with 35 more impeachment articles only to come back with “one”. He is unrealistic in his writing a letter begging for just “one” article to be carried through to other constituents. He already presented his former articles, why back down like a coward? He makes me angry! Don’t back down, make threats and then only come back with one on the table? What dreamworld does this man live in that he actually thinks he’s going to have any affect when he makes threats and doesn’t carry through? It makes me angry he has virtually no affect politically that he is being turned into a laughing stock as he was in the campaign. Further, in view of the public mocking him over his UFO debate, was he really the right man to be going out on a limb here? I think not, we needed someone with credibility, not a major losing candidate for President with an injured ego. He wasn’t the right man to put out these Impeachment Articles. History may look back at his political impedance and threats as anything but heroic.

Dennis Kucinich states that the lies based war was for oil.

This is why I have been a Dennis Kucinich supporter for some time now. He has been trying for a while to get an impeachment hearing and it’s finally going to happen. He is one of a two congressmen (Ron Paul being the other)that actually have the balls to stand up for what America is supposed to be about! The fact that the mainstream media locked both of these men out of the election is horse shit, and only goes to show that the rest of the “evil doers” in our government are scared of them.

I called the Judiciary Com. this morning with my demand that it move forward with Kucinich’s resolutions.I also let Kucinich’s office know that I had called that SOB conyers and told him to impeach. Toll free #’s for the capital switch board are 1 877-851-6437 and 1 866 220-0044 I use these all the time and they work great. Just tell the operator who’s office you want and when you’re done, tell whoever you’re speaking to, to send you back to the switchboard and go on to the next congress critter.

Bush needs to have the additional charge levied in this impeachment that he also violated the Constitution by not securing the borders, as he is SUPPOSED to defend this country from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. That especially means our biggest neighbor / enemy MEXICO.
IMHO, that just as much ties into the NWO / Globalist plans; they want to turn the US into a 3rd world nation so that we are easier to control and manipulate. hats off to Mr. Kucinich. thank you for having the courage. we should all follow his example and stand up and do what is right. our fore fathers fought for their freedom. people today take those same freedoms for granted and are too lazy to fight for them back. and i do say back because we are losing more and more of them by the day. stand up people! don’t let men like Alex Stone and Mr. Kucinich do all the work for us. most of the men that fought for our freedom, died for it willingly. if you are not willing to stand up and fight and die for your freedom then you are lazy and not deserving of it.

Welcome to REALITY, Mr. Kucinich! It’s about time! The only problem I have is that he did not ever mention the multi-million dollar program of DARPA and several other Defense Department- related organizations projects to generate propaganda through the use of “product placement” type activities much in line with advertising!
He also failed to mention the document titled: “Rebuilding America’s Defenses, The Project for a new American Century.” (PNAC)
He has also failed to mention that the current president has publicly expressed his desire to complete what his father, a former US President himself, left unfinished in Iraq.
Dennis Kucinich in my opinion is not someone I can fully trust. Mr. Ron Paul would have gained far more credibility of this issue if it was he who pushed this far for an impeachment.

Even if he isn’t actually impeached (which I REALLY hope he is) I honestly believe that it is enough and we will have made our point that the very idea of it was ever even brought out into the light. It will forever be in the history books that the American people were so fed up with this president that they considered impeaching him. Not a good thing on ANY presidents record.

After the impeachment should come the trial. I know war crimes can merrit the death penalty, but somehow I would be more satisfied seeing Dick Cheney, Bush, and the rest of the gang behind bars than seeing them hang from a rope. Of course, neither will ever happen…
But thanks to Congressman Kucinich for trying. He and Ron Paul are a dying breed. That’s gotta feel strange whenever congress is in session, knowing that you’re one of only two good men in a room full of the sleaziest, blood-sucking, and most unconvincing would-be used car salesmen on the entire continent… Perhaps the entire planet. I am a registered independent and made the biggest mistake of my life in 2006 when I voted democrats hoping they would end the war. I remember when Conyers and others were pushing for impeachement before 2006, then after they won the turned around and gave us the shaft. Well, never again. I refuse to vote unless Ron Paul is running.

I agree they show an enormous amount of courage but, this is what happens when you try to change the government from within, squandering. I believe that we need a completely new form of government (I am not saying all of congress is evil, because I think they are just scared in line) not voted in but established by the people for the people it is a long shot, but events have already taken place in Latin America instead of the people depending on the government the people inform themselves help and work for each other. We can also do that and more we have the technology just not the proper motivation. That and years of conditioning make it difficult for us “the people” to help each other because we have been taught to look at each other through the eyes of people who hate us and they might not even be human. Because if you think even for one second that Dennis or Ron will make it to presidential office you are seriously deranged remember what happened to the Kennedy’s.

I’m for pursuing impeachment, as it’s a matter of principle that it should be pursued if it is determined that there are, in fact, high crimes and misdemeanors in evidence, then it’s Congress’ duty to pull the flush handle. The reason that I see Bush et. al. as impeachable is simply this: I think Saddam was nothing less than a puppet, I think the Bush klan’s been hanging around D.C. long enough to have insider information and friends and so forth everywhere, I think the 2k election was a joke, rigged, basically,
so if you take a public office that you weren’t elected to, to begin with, that’s fraud, which many people have said, and fraud is a crime, forcing Congress into a corner to get them to rubberstamp so-called ‘defense’ spending, that’s got to be at least a misdemeanor, being at war for 5 years absent a formal declaration of same by Congress, which is called for, I believe, in the Constitution, well, that’s a usurpation of their Constitutional authority, so add that on there, and then, there’s the flexibility of the impeachment concept itself, meaning that Congress can basically deem anything they don’t like about the administration’s conduct to be ‘a misdemeanor’, and eject the occupants pretty much ’cause they feel like it. Congress, in addition to being the legislative branch, is also composited of those persons who represent the People. Meaning? The President and hangers-on can essentially be fired, by the People’s proxies, should all involved so will it. Majority rule, and all that. If enough people pipe up and say, ‘we don’t like these people, or what they’re doing’, Congress gets to deliver the Bad News in the form of impeachment. In essence, the President etc. can be fired for what amounts to a parking ticket. Pretty thin ice, in some ways, Blowjob Bill was determined to have committed a misdemeanor with Monica Lewinski. Sort of. They tried to impeach him for it, at any rate. He did manage to finish his term, though. So, it kind of depends on how much mental and physical energy people are willing to put into the process, how honest their motives are, and how much of a screwup the person sitting in the office happens to be. I don’t know, maybe putting Bush’s job up for grabs on Craigslist might be a better approach, start seeking new hire candidates, start em off at 8 bucks an hour etc. Little peer pressure, improve the old job performance…maybe get a couple undocumented workers at the interview table there, see what kind of response we start seeing…foreclose on the White House? LOL

It should be made clear to every congressman that to vote against any effort to impeach these criminals, when the evidence of treason is so clearly spelled out and by their own admission, is nothing short of a violation of their oath to protect and defend the constitutiont which if knowingly done is treason on their own part. Their subsequent vote should be a litmus test for reelection.
We must realize what is at stake. Should these criminals not be held accountable, the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights, indeed the Constitution itself, will mean nothing but an antique of history, fallen victim to the New World Order.

I’m glad he pointed out the way the government-issued propaganda was passed off by the media as independent news. Also from the 911 report we know that none of the hijackers of 911 was even from Iraq. Most of them were from Saudi Arabia and Bin Laden was from Saudi Arabia. So what sense does it make that we attack and destroy a country that had nothing to do with 911 while at the same time we do nothing to a country whose fingerprints are all over 911? How does that make sense? What message are we sending to the terrorists?

I applaud Mr. Kucinich’s efforts, and I have signed the petition, but I don’t have much hope that any of this will actually bring about impeachment, not at this late date. I think the Iran attack is about to take place, and when it does, Bush and Cheney will find some pretext to declare martial law. That will be the end of the Constitution, and the Republic, for good. If martial law is declared, the elections will be “suspended,” and Bush and Cheney will be our president for life, or rather, death. At this point, all we can do is decide whether we intend to live as New World Order slaves, or not. If not, we must be prepared to take whatever action is necessary.
